We are back and we see Jey Uso walking down the ramp in the garage earlier today.
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk gets on the announce table before returning to the ring.
Punk says he has a lot to say but he asks does it feel good to be alive in Chicago on a Monday night. He says everybody is asking him if he will be at Wrestlemania and the short answer is yes. He says people are asking him about his elbow. Punk says he is not medically cleared but he says his mouth is fine. He says people are asking him what will he do at Wrestlemania and they have ideas. Will he host Wresltemania? Ten years ago, he would have thought that it was beneath him but he just wants to be there. He suggests Chicago host a Wrestlemania. What about commentary or being a referee. Is there a match for an impartial referee?
People talk about him and they might not love him, but they need him. Punk addresses Pat about having Roman on his show and he wonders why would Roman mention him. Punk says him coming back and climbing up the mountain while Roman is going down the mountain, they might see each other soon. Punk mentions Seth Rollins. He says they go way back and they don't see eye to eye because Seth wears high heels and is taller. Seth talks about Punk's injury and he says it is funny that a man with two bad knees would talk about him.
Punk says the Rock hasn't talked about him. Maybe ten years ago, Rock remembers ten years ago when Rock's arms were too short to box with God. Punk mentions Drew McIntyre. Punk says he doesn't live on the internet and he handles things live and in living color. In Chicago, you handle things like a man.
Drew's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Punk tells them to shut off Drew's stupid song. He says he isn't looking for a match so he tells Drew to get his bitch ass in the ring.
Drew says he would love to beat Punk's arse in the ring, but do you remember what happened the last time they were in the ring together. Drew talks about stomping on his arm and how he prayed for this.
Punk asks Drew if he is a psychopath or a troll.
Drew says this is divine intervention. Drew mentions his shirt. Punk says he never had to put someone on a shirt.
Drew says this straight edge thing is a thing. You don't drink or do drugs, but you spend a lot of time in rehab. Drew says he might have hated Punk in the past but Drew says Punk completes him.
Punk tells the crowd to boo Drew.
Drew says when he tries to go that last rep with a weight that Punk couldn't lift in his prime and he thinks about the Royal Rumble and he finishes the rep.
Punk tells Drew to get in the ring.
Drew says he would love to but he figures Punk has a weapon with him so he won't make it to Wrestlemania. Drew sits on the announce table. Drew tells Punk he wants him at Wrestlemania with a front row seat because you think you should be where he is. Drew says everyone will know that he is the Chosen One.
Punk asks Drew who chose him and he asks Drew what paragon of virtue chose you. It wasn't the people of Chicago or San Antonio as Punk coaxes the crowd to chant for him.
Drew tells Punk this is his moment and he feels like a fan sitting here. Drew tells Punk is good at talking so why not be the guest commentator to see Drew have his moment and have his hand raised as champion in a building in front of live people.
Seth Rollins' music plays and Punk shows his excitement over his appearance.
Seth welcomes everyone to the show. He says now that they have established whose show it is, it has been, and is going to be . . . If you two children . . .
Punk says this could be your show but Punk says it is his city.
Seth says he knows it is an away game for him. If you two morons had a brain cell among you, you don't make the decisions about the title match when you are not in it, as he turns to Punk. Seth says since you seem to want to take everybody's opinion but the champ, why not take a poll of the entire city of Chicago. Seth asks if Punk should be on commentary and they respond.
Punk says he probably couldn't be objectively fair with these to d***s in the ring.
Seth asks Punk if he wants to know what he thinks and Punk says no. Seth says he doesn't think anything about Punk. Seth says he hasn't crossed his mind since the last time they were in the ring together. You are a non-factor to him. Do you want to be on commentary or a referee, it doesn't matter. You talk about how everybody needs you, but Punk, you need him for your Wrestlemania moment. The irony of Punk narrating his finest hour is not lost on him. The way things are going for you, this is the closest you are going to get to a title match again. Do whatever you want at Wrestlemania, but Seth tells Punk that he needs to stay out of his way.
Punk says it is decided. He says he will put some cans on and sit next to his buddy Michael Cole and do some commentary at Wrestlemania. He will do something that Drew and Seth won't be able to do for themselves and that is make you two interesting.
Drew says Punk doesn't get the final word because he isn't even in the match. Drew says the only thing he is obsessed with is the title. He says Punk watches him on social media and he is Drew's number one stan.
Rollins with a super kick to Drew. Seth hits Black Out on Drew.
Shinsuke Nakamura tells Jey he gets to go to Wrestlemania to have the dream match with his brother. That is not fair. Why does your dream come true while Nakamura's doesn't. He will turn Jey's dream into a nightmare.
Match Number Two: Ivy Nile (with Maxxine Dupri) versus Candice LeRae (with Indi Hartwell)
Ivy with a take down and a kick in the corner. Ivy with a delayed vertical suplex. Ivy gets a near fall and Candice sends Ivy to the floor. The referee holds Candice back and Indi gingerly approaches Ivy but Ivy gets back into the ring. Candice sends Ivy to the floor again and Candice tells Indi to do what she is supposed to. Maxxine gets on the apron and Candice with a punch to knock Dupri off the apron. Candice goes down in the corner and the referee checks on her. Ivy gets back in the ring and Candice with a double leg take down and a cover with her feet on the ropes for the three count.
Winner: Candice LeRae
After the match, Candice celebrates her victory while Indi is confused.
New Day is in the back with Gargano and Ciampa. They ask each other about their team names as they insult each other.
Kofi says the match at Wrestlemania will be interesting.
R Truth and Miz show up and say this will be the best match ever. Ciampa mentions Wrestlemania and Truth mentions the New Day versus DX match and he says they will be on commentary with JBL.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano versus Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods
Ciampa and Kofi start things off and Ciampa with a side head lock. Kofi with a waist lock and Ciampa with a back elbow and a monkey flip but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Gargano tags in and Ciampa with a chop and Gargano with a Northern Lariat. Gargano and Ciampa with a double clothesline. Johnny with a chop in the corner. Gargano with a rollup but he misses the round kick. Kofi gets a near fall after a Fameasser. Kofi kicks Johnny in the corner and Woods tags in. Woods with kicks and Kofi tags back in and they continue the kicking. Kofi and Woods with a double super kick to Ciampa followed by double hesitation drop kicks.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ciampa with many clotheslines to Kofi and Woods followed by a double clothesline. Johnny tags in and they kick Kofi in the corner. Gargano with an enzugiri to Woods and Ciampa with a kick. Johnny with an assisted Asai DDT. Johnny with a suicide dive onto Kofi and Woods.
THE Judgment Day attack Woods, Kofi, and Gargano and the referee calls for the bell.
No Contest
After the match, THE Judgment Day go after Ciampa and Gargano. Ciampa fights back but THE Judgment Day are too much. Dom with a frog splash to Woods. Miz goes into the ring and Priest with a choke slam. Truth stays on commentary while THE Judgment Day surround him and Truth wants to go to commercial.
Priest grabs Truth and sends him into the ring. Truth fights off THE Judgment Day and he punches Finn. Priest with a Razor's Edge to Truth. Finn goes up top and hits Coup de Grace.
Jackie Redmond is in the back with Cody Rhodes in the locker room. She asks him what did the Rock say to him.
Cody apologizes to everyone and he says he would rather not repeat it. He says it is a promise that Rock cannot keep.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Cathy Kelley is with Gunther. She asks him about Sami Zayn's comments from last week.
Gunther says he would have answered Sami directly but he stormed out like a child. Gunther says those words were empty. Sami does not believe he can beat him at Wrestlemania. There are thousands of people out there tonight who don't think Sami can beat him. Gunther says Sami can't beat Bronson Reed.
Cathy asks Gunther if he will be at ringside for that match and Gunther repeats that he doesn't think Sami can beat Reed.
Match Number Four: Andrade versus Giovanni Vinci
Vinci pie faces Andrade and Andrade chops Vinci. Vinci with chops and Andrade hangs in the ropes showing he is tranquilo. Vinci with an Irish whip but Andrade sends Vinci to the apron. Vinci with a punch and he goes for a springboard move but Andrade with a drop kick that sends Vinci to the floor. Andrade goes to the ring post for a moonsault. Andrade sends Vinci back into the ring. Andrade goes for a moonsault but Vinci moves and Andrade lands on his feet and he hits the Andrade for a near fall. Andrade with a suplex and he holds on for a second one but Vinci blocks it. Andrade lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Andrade with a back elbow but Vinci with a cross body.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Andrade with chops. Andrade blocks a kick and hits a few dragon screw leg whips followed by a flying forearm. Andrade with a running double knee strike in the corner. Andrade gets a near fall. Andrade with a waist lock and Vinci with a clothesline. Andrade escapes a power bomb and Vinci with a chop. Andrade with a back elbow followed by The Message for the three count.
Winner: Andrade
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley walk in the back as we go to commercial.
