We start off with a look at what happened last week on Smackdown to set up the main event for Night One of Wrestlemania.
The Rock makes his way to the ring and there are some items in the ring that suggest we might be getting a Rock Concert.
Rock says he usually scorches and torches every city he is in, but tonight, it's different. This city is different. Years ago, when he first started his wrestling career, he started right here in Memphis. He says every Saturday morning on Channel 5. Every Monday at the Big Top Flea Market. He asks if they remember his name back then and he brings up Flex Kavana. Rock throws out a FINALLY and he says he is back home.
He says it has been years and he says they are going to have fun. He says this is the home of the blues and Elvis. He says he loves his blues and Elvis and country music. He asks everyone if they want to hear a song.
He brings out some accompaniment to get on the announce table.
Rock says he is going to cover a lot of stuff in this song. He says he is going to cover what is going to happen to Cody and Seth at Wrestlemania.
Rock says he's gonna come lay the smacketh down on the blonde Cody's ass and his best friend clown. Heis going to break his back and kick his ass. Maybe he'll just do it with his fanny pack. There's gonna be so much drama, you'll have to cry to your mama. Rock says he is talking about Cody's mom. He says he is a mama's boy and he asks if anyone else is.
Rock says he is singing about Cody's Birth.
Dusty's Youngest son was just what he feared. He tried to raise him right but he turned out weird. He says drugs and cheap condoms was a bad combination. He says Cody stays up because he wasn't wanted and he was a mistake.
Rock says cackling and dancing is all you do. No wonder your wife's more popular than you. You make the people cheer for you, but he'll take your title. He says Seth is as bad as Ja Morant waving a gun.
Rock says he might be missing something.
You're all so entitled, obnoxious and brash. Some of you have sex, but you pay cash. Your hero is going to bleed and need stitches. Cry about that you crybaby bitches. There are some lines you don't. You will kiss the ass of the final boss.
Rock asks Memphis if they liked that. Rock says he liked that.
Now he wants to say something now. They had some fun and it is time to have some other fun.
Last week, on Smackdown, Cody did something to him. The world heard it and the Rock felt it.
We take a look back at the slap at the end of Smackdown.
Rock takes a drink as he watches it. He says Cody finally maned up and grew a pair of balls. He says he smiled and a few days later, Cody went on Raw. We were waiting on how Cody would respond to that moment. Would he cut an impassioned promo?
We take a look at Cody's promo from Raw.
Rock says you responded by crying. You gotta be s***ing me. That is how you respond? You ain't giving anybody anything. Rock says he doesn't want to talk to Cody now. He wants to talk to Cody's mama. He saya he knows she is watching and listening. You are going to know him in ways you don't know. He says Cody took something from him and he will take something from Cody and make him pay. They will beat Cody and Seth on Night One so it will be Bloodline Rules on Night Two. You want your son to finish the story and hand you the title belt, but the title will stay around the waist of his cousin, Roman Reigns. You are going to get a belt, the Rock's belt.
Rock pulls out a weight belt with a Brahma Bull logo. He says he will take this belt and beat your son. He says he will make your son bleed. He will tear his skin and flesh and whoop him like a dog over and over. Your son's blood will be on that belt. When he is done whooping your son and when Roman is done beating Cody, he will walk over to you with this belt and he will hand this belt to her and put it in your lap. You will be crying like your son.
I will whisper into your ear and say Michelle, what can I say except you're welcome.
Rock says to smell what the final boss is cooking.
Angel and Humberto prepare for their tag match later tonight while Santos and Elektra watch.
We go to commercial.
Match Number One: Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza (with Elektra Lopez) versus Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro (with Zelina Vega) in a Tag Title Ladder Match Qualifying Match
Cruz with punches and chops after Humberto misses a clothesline. Humberto with a super kick and Angel tags in and Humberto with a leap frog splash for a near fall. Angel with a chop. Angel with a back heel kick. Humberto tags in and he connects with a shoulder in the corner. Humberto with an Irish whip but Cruz goes to the apron and kicks Humberto and follows with a springboard rana. Wilde tags in and they hit a double back elbow and a double super kick. Humberto goes to the floor and Angel is sent to the floor with a double drop kick. Cruz and Wilde with stereo flip dives. Wilde gets a near fall.
Wilde with a back elbow and a kick to Humberto for a near fall. Cruz tags in and they hit a double back elbow. Cruz sends Wilde onto Humberto and Cruz with a quebrada for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Cruz with elbows and Humberto with a forearm and he gets a near fall. Cruz with a chop to Humberto and Humberto kicks Cruz. Angel tags in and Angel drop kicks Wilde off the apron and then Cruz is put on the turnbuckles. Angel with a kick and Humberto tags back in. They set for a Super double press slam and he sends Cruz to the mat and Wilde breaks up the cover. Wilde knocks Angel off the apron but Humberto with a kick to Wilde. Cruz with a rollup for a near fall. Cruz with a Spanish Fly but both men are down. Angel and Wilde tag in and Wilde with a missile double drop kick. Wilde kicks Angel and then he avoids Humberto and hits a neck breaker. Wilde with an elbow to Angel in the corner followed by a springboard rana to Humberto and a super kick to Angel. WIlde with a tornado DDT for a near fall.
Cruz sends Humberto to the floor and Humberto avoids a baseball slide. Humberto tosses Cruz into the air and Angel with a kick to the ribs for the three count.
Winners: Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo
We see Damage CTRL arriving at the building earlier today.
We see Bayley arrive at the building as well.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kayla Braxton is in the Okerlund Area and her guest is LA Knight.
Kayla asks about Knight's quest for AJ Styles.
Knight takes the mic and Kayla leaves.
Knight says he wants to talk to ya. He says AJ said he had to be humble. Now you are talking his language. Knight tells AJ to come out and humble him.
Knight looks around and no one comes out. Another week when AJ Styles doesn't show up. Napoleon Styles making threats but he doesn't show up. AJ flies to Australia but he can't drive to Memphis? Knight says he spots the marks and AJ is the biggest mark. If you can't show up on Smackdown, he knows somewhere AJ can't help but show up. Knight says he is talking about Wrestlemania. Knight says that AJ said he walks around like he owns the place. He might not own the place but he will own AJ's ass.
AJ comes out from behind with a chair and he hits Knight in the back with it. AJ puts the chair on top of Knight and he says he accepts.
Referees and officials come out to point where AJ needs to go.
We take a look at Logan Paul from last week.
Logan Paul enters Nick's office and he wants to know what Randy's punishment will be for what happened last week. Will he be fined?
Nick doesn't say anything.
Logan says Randy should have to apologize. Logan says he doesn't care, but he says Nick might get in trouble.
Nick says it would set a great precedent if you requested that apology from Randy Orton in person.
Logan says it is Nick's job to make it happen, but how could Nick do his job when he can't find him an opponent for Wrestlemania.
