COMPLETE WWE NXT VENGEANCE DAY PPV REPORT: WAS IT TRICK'S NIGHT?, THREE TITLE MATCHES, THE DUSTY FINALS, WOULD YOU LIKE A CALENDAR (IN FEBRUARY?), AND MORE

Lexis King has a calendar and he comments on Thea's photo.

Riley tells Lexis to stop and Lexis tells Thea to stop worrying about Riley.

Riley and Lexis fight.

Kelly is with Ava and Ava says that she is proud of tonight's show. 

Kelly asks what is next.

Ava mentions Roadblock and Stand and Deliver.  Ava talks about the ticket sales.

Kelly asks if NXT is going back on the road.

Ava mentions Roadblock in May.

We go to Edris and Malik and Malik has his five things he likes for Brinley.  He says he only has two dislikes.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer show up and Frazer says this won't help.  Frazer says if they faced Edris and Malik last week, they would have gone to Vegeance Day.

Brinley suggests a match next week.

They will meet on NXT.  Lexis King faces Riley Osborne.  There will be a Dusty Classic Celebration.

We go tot he back where Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice are fighting.  Referees and officials have to come to break things up. 

Match Number Six:  NXT Men’s Championship:  Ilja Dragunov versus Trick Williams

Ilja misses a boot and Trick with punches.  Ilja with chops.  Trick blocks a chop and he slams Ilja.  Trick goes for a slam and Ilja escapes and applies a waist lock.  Trick with an elbow and he misses a drop kick.  Trick with a drop kick.  Ilja with an enzugiiri and he goes for Konstantin Special and hits it.  Ilja is bleeding from his own nose.  Ilja backs Trick into the corner and Ilja with a chop.  Ilja with another chop and he sends Trick into the turnbuckles.  Ilja with a series of chops and then he resumes with more chops.  Ilja with a face wash as Trick bleeds from the mouth.  Ilja with a running boot to the head.  Ilja with a forearm to the back of the head.  Trick with punches.  Ilja with a chop.  Ilja with a rear chin lock.  Ilja with a German suplex.  Ilja holds on to the waist lock and he hits another German suplex.  Ilja holds on. 

Trick powers out of the waist lock but Ilja reapplies the hold.  Trick escapes a suplex attempt.  Ilja sends Trick to the ropes and he hits a running boot to the head.  Trick falls to the floor.  Ilja with a German suplex on the floor.  Ilja pulls Trick onto the apron and Ilja gets Trick on his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver onto the apron. Hayes picks up Trick and says something to him.  Trick gets back into the ring and Ilja with a missile drop kick for a near fall.  Ilja with a running clothesline for a near fall.  Trick with punches and a slap.  Ilja slaps Trick and Ilja follows with forearms.  Ilja and Trick go back and forth.  Ilja blocks a cyclone kick and he hits a power bomb.  Ilja sets for H Bomb but Trick with a round kick to the head.  Trick with First 48 and both men are down.  Trick with a forearm and Ilja fires back.  They go back and forth with Ilja hitting a series of forearms.  Trick with a series of jumping side kicks.  Trick with a flying clothesline.  Trick kicks Ilja.  Ilja with a hip toss and a kick.  Trick avoids Konstantin Special.  Ilja with elbows and Trick with a flying clothesline.

Trick punches Ilja against the ropes.  Ilja with chops but Trick with an uppercut that sends Ilja over the top rope to the floor.  Ilja runs Trick into the apron.  Ilja goes for another Death Valley Driver on the apron but Williams blocks it and hits a uranage off the apron to the floor.  Ilja with a knee and he sends Trick's head into the apron.  Hayes says something to Ilja and Ilja pushes Hayes.  Ilja with a forearm and Hayes falls into the back of Trick's leg.  Ilja sends Trick back into the ring.  Ilja sets for a power bomb but Trick with a back body drop and a neck breaker.   Trick with an H Bomb for a near fall.  Trick waits for Ilja to get back to his feet and Trick's knee gives out.  Ilja with a power bomb and H Bomb.  Ilja pulls Trick into position for an H Bomb from the turnbuckles.  Ilja hits H Bomb but Trick kicks out.  Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow but Trick moves and Ilja hits the turnbuckles  Trick with a Cyclone Kick for a near fall. 

Hayes gets on the apron and Trick misses Ilja but he hits the referee and the referee goes into the turnbuckles.  Trick with a knee to Ilja but the referee is out.  A second referee comes out and Trick gets a two count.  Ilja with a waist lock and Trick with elbows and an arm drag.  Ilja with a knee and H Bomb.  Ilja goes to the turnbuckles one more time for an H Bomb.  Trick gets his knees up and Trick sets for the knee while Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow.  They both hit their move and Ilja falls on top of Trick for the three count.

Winner:  Ilja Dragunov (retains championship)

After the match, Hayes tells Trick he was so close but it will always be them.  Hayes tells Trick he is his boy.

Hayes hits Trick in the back of the leg.

Hayes goes to the floor and he gets a chair.  Hayes hits Trick in the leg with the top of the chair. Hayes hits Trick in the leg many times with the chair.  Hayes hits Trick with the chair again. 

Hayes has some words for Trick.
