Match Number Four: Tiffany Stratton versus Fallon Henley in a Loser Must Work for the Other for a Day Match
Fallon punches Tiffany and sends her into the turnbuckles. Fallon with a shoulder tackle and Fallon sends Tiffany to the floor. Tiffany pulls Fallon to the floor but Fallon sends Tiffany into the apron after blocking an attempt by Tiffany. Fallon avoids going into the steps and Fallon punches Tiffany. They return to the ring and Fallon gets a near fall. Fallon avoids a seated splash and Fallon with a drop toe hold and kick. Fallon slides to the floor but Tiffany knows the punch is coming and Tiffany sends Fallon into the ring post. Tiffany sends Fallon into the apron. .Tiffany kicks Fallon in the back and chops her. Tiffany with a hard Irish whip and splash. Tiffany with another hard Irish whip. Tiffany with another Irish whip and Fallon hits the turnbuckles face first. Fallon with an Irish whip of her own but Fallon mises a splash. Tiffany sends Fallon to the mat by the hair.
Tiffany gets a near fall. Tiffany with a rear chin lock. Tiffany with an elbow and she sends Fallon to the mat again. Tiffany kicks Fallon against the ropes a few times. Fallon blocks a kick and Fallon with chops to Tiffany. Tiffany sends Fallon into the ropes and Tiffany hits a running hip against the ropes. Both women with clotheslines and both go down. Tiffany and Fallon exchange forearms. Fallon kicks Tiffany and sends Tiffany into the ringside barrier. Fallon gets a near fall. Fallon with a knee and she does a cartwheel to set up a flam but Fallon counters into a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Fallon goes for a suplex but Tiffany blocks it. Fallon floats over but Tiffany with a spinebuster for a near fall. Fallon with a Finlay Slam but she misses the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.
Fallon goes to the turnbuckles but Tiffany pushes Fallon to the floor and Tiffany falls to the floor as well. They exchange forearms. Tiffany drops Fallon face first onto the apron. Tiffany gets a chair and brings it into the ring. Fallon with a thrust kick and the referee pulls the chair from Tiffany. Fallon with a Shining Wizard for the three count.
Winner: Fallon Henley
Bron Breakker is on the phone and Baron Corbin shows up. Baron says Bron needs to drop the tough guy stuff. Baron mentions the Dusty Classic and he says against every single fiber in his body, he thinks they could be a good team.
Bron laughs at Baron coming to him for a teammate.
Baron says if he brain was one quarter the size of his ego . . . Who is looking for Bron to be his partner. No one is asking him because Bron is a smug, arrogant, a-hole.
Bron asks why would they be partners. Baron says they are both a-holes. Baron says they could destroy everyone in this tournament and win the tag titles.
Bron says he can see it. Bron leading the team, with baldy behind him would be great.
Baron says he will be the one destroying people while Bron puts on more tanner.
Bron likes the idea.
We have an Oba Femi video package.
He comes from rulers with power. He says he comes from Nigeria. It is built on a culture where strength is expected. Tonight, he takes his final step to his contract. Riley Osborne will crumble under him. When he wins this title, he will be the giant of NXT.
Ridge Holland is in the backstage interview area and we go to commercial.
We are back with Gigi Dolin in the locker room and she talks about how she is comfortable in her skin.
Cora Jade shows up and asks what is wrong and Gigi doesn't realize that she is in Cora's locker so Cora points it out.
Gig apologizes and she asks Cora to forgive her. When you can't respect other people's lockers, she can't respect her.
Gigi says this is going to go where they expect and Cora says she doesn't want to go there.
Sarah is with Ridge and she asks about Ridge seeking redemption and his comments about having mistakes in the ring.
Ridge says he is no stranger to accidents and mishaps in the ring. He says when he started up that ladder to build to War Games and he blew out both of his legs and he fractured and disloacted his ankle and knee cap. He ruptured his patellar tendon. He says he thought it was all over. He was thinking was this how it was going to end? How could he tell his pregnant wife that he pulled her away from her family to try this new life in the States and they need to go back.
She brings up the Brawling Brutes. Ridge says it is bittersweet to have the opportunity with Butch and Sheamus but he has flashbacks to Day One when his nose was smashed. He says he had to get reconstructive surgery.
Sarah mentions Ridge's return to NXT and his match against Ilja Dragunov. Who is the Ridge Holland he wants NXT to know.
Ridge says he respects Ilja immensely. Every word that came out of his mouth two weeks ago, he meant it. When the bell rang, whatever happened happened. There was no malicious intent and no ill will. He is a dad, a father, and a friend. He is not a monster who tries to take away someone's career because he knows that feeling. It is not in his DNA. He is back in NXT for a reason. He is here to prove and show everyone who he is. He will go through the roster to prove who he is and find redemption. He will show the NXT Universe who he truly is.
Thea Hail is pushed into RIley Osborne by Jacy Jayne. She says she will be out there to watch Riley's match. They high five and Thea freaks out and she is never going to wash her hand again.
Match Number Five: Oba Femi versus Riley Osborne in the Finals of the NXT Breakout Tournament
They lock up and Oba puts Riley on the turnbuckles. Riley with kicks to Oba and Oba swats away a drop kick attempt. Riley avoids an elbow drop. Riley with a front face lock. Oba pushes Riley away. Riley clips Oba. Oba grabs Riley by the throat and sends him to the floor. Oba sends Riley back into the ring. Oba charges at Riley but Riley drops down and Oba goes over the top rope to the floor. Riley goes to the apron and he kicks Oba. Riley charges at Oba and Oba with a chop and Riley goes down hard.
Oba with a back body drop. Oba with a European uppercut and he chokes Riley in the corner. Oba kicks Riley in the ribs and follows with a forearm to the back. Oba with a hard Irish whip. Oba kicks Riley and he slams Riley. Oba with another slam. Oba gets a near fall. Oba with a spinning back breaker. for a near fall. Oba with a knee to the midsection followed by an elbow to the back of the neck. Oba with a forearm to the back. Oba with a forearm and Riley is down. Oba with a bear hug. Oba with a knee and Irish whip. Oba returns to the bear hug. Riley with forearms to get out of the bear hug. Oba with a uranage back breaker.
Oba returns to the bear hug. Oba with a waist lock but Riley with a jaw breaker to escape. Oba with a forearm to the back and a European uppercut. Oba with an Irish whip but Riley avoids a shoulder in the corner and Oba hits the ring post. Riley with a chop. Riley goes for a crucifix and then he goes for a sunset flip. Oba picks up Riley but misses a clothesline. Riley with a head scissors take down and a drop kick. Riley with a twisting moonsault for a near fall. Riley with a running uppercut but Oba with a punch. Oba with an Irish whip and Riley tries to float over but Oba sends Riley to the apron. Riley with a round kick and he goes up top. Riley flips over Oba and hits a running leg lariat.
Riley goes up top and hits a shooting star press but Oba gets is knees up. Oba with snake eyes and a toss choke slam. Oba with a power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Oba Femi
Bronco says Tony has had a good run but when him and Lucien are done with you, all you are going to have is a nickname. Lucien says they are family and they are connected by the bottom. Bronco says he does not see the hunger in their eyes. They rae hungry. THey have gold in their mouths, necks, and ears. They need gold around their waist. They week they are going to make you feel what it is like to play their game. Price says there is nothing you are going to do.
SCRYPTS says they beat the streets and the system. They are going to pull the punk card and become new tag team champions.
Izzi Dame and Kiana James are with Kelly.
Kelly asks how did they become a team.
Izzi says she slammed the door on Roxanne and everyone wondered who she is. She knew she made the right decision to join Kiana James. Kiana says Izzi is loyal, has potential, and she is willing to step on anyone in her way. Kiana sees dollar signs. You either make friends or money. She says she has her friend and she will make money. With her guidance, everyone will know who Izzi Dame is.
Hayes and Trick are in the locker room and Trick asks how could Melo put up his title match. Hayes says that Trick has it under control and he will beat everyone. Hayes says Trick was going to beat Ilja tonight. Hayes says he wouldn't put Trick in this place if he couldn't do it. He will be by Trick's side.
Trick says he will do it by himself. He asks Hayes if he is feeling it and Hayes says he is.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Thea and Jacy are in the back and Thea says that Riley must be so sad and she thinks she should talk to him. She says maybe she should get a gift card.
Duke and Andre show up and talk about Riley's performance. Andre says it is time for the Dusty Cup. Jacy says she is in control now. It is time for Andre to deal with the debt so the team will be Duke and Riley. Thea is excited for that. Jacy says she sees that Andre isn't handling this the right way. Jacy says she is going to get the money and Thea says she will help her to reach down in the depths of heel to bring them back to providence.
Lyra is sitting on a production box and Tatum Paxley comes over to freak out Lyra. She points out how Lyra is still champion.
Axiom and Frazer are in the back and Frazer says he won't say anything. Axiom asks Frazer about the Dusty Cup. Frazer says they would make a good tag team together. Frazer says the other established tag teams have failed and they need a wake up call.
Edris Enofe and Malik Blade show up and Frazer acts like nothing happened.
Edris says they are looking forward to shutting them up. He says he hopes they are the ones to prove Frazer wrong.
Channing and Tony are asked about the comments from earlier tonight.
Tony says that Andre isn't close to paying off his debt and now they have a tag title match.
Rizzo tells Tony to introduce her to everyone. Tony says she is the glue of the family, Adrianna. Tony says if you are going to be a wise ass, she will punch you in the mouth.
Joe Gacy pops out of their trunk and he says the guy in there . . . he took care of him.
Next week, we have the tag title match. Cora Jade faces Gigi Dolin. The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic starts.
Match Number Seven: Grayson Waller versus Trick Williams for Trick's Number One Contender Spot for the NXT Men's Championship
Trick has some words for Waller and Waller with a jab and kicks. Waller with a suplex for a near fall. Trick with a drop kick and slam. Trick with another slam and he goes for one more but Waller gets to his feet. Waller with a drop kick. Trick with a slam for a near fall. Trick goes for the cyclone kick but Waller goes to the floor. Waller pulls Trick to the floor and Trick punches Waller around the ringside area. Trick chops Waller. Trick sends Waller over the announce table. Trick poses on the announce table while Waller gets back in the ring. Waller with a forearm and he kicks Trick to the floor. Waller slides to the floor and he clotheslines Trick.
Waller chops Trick. Waller punches Trick in the midsection and sends Trick back into the ring. Waller goes for a suplex but Trick blocks it and gets a near fall with an inside cradle. Waller with an elbow to the back of the head and then he stands on Trick's head. Waller does some pushups. Trick with a sunset flip attempt but Waller stays on his feet and he connects with a forearm to the back of the head. Waller with elbows to the collarbone. Trick with punches and forearms. Waller with a boot to the head and a forearm to the back of the head for a near fall. Trick with a suplex and both men are down. Trick with punches and the referee warns Trick not to get disqualified. Trick with an Irish whip and Waller floats over into a double stomp for a near fall.
Trick goes to the apron and Waller sends Trick shoulder first into the ring post. Waller with a single leg crab in the turnbuckles. Waller with elbow drops to the back and a single leg crab. Trick powers his way to the ropes and he gets there to force a break. Waller has some words for Trick and Trick punches Waller. Trick with punches. Trick with a flying clothesline and a back elbow. Trick with a flapjack that sends Waller to the apron. Waller drops Trick on the top rope and Waller goes for the slingshot rolling cutter but Trick with a pop up uppercut for a near fall. Trick kicks Waller. Trick with a knee to the midsection but Waller wtih a cravate and knees.
Waller puts Trick on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex. Trick with forearms to stop Waller. Trick with a uranage off the turnbuckles and he gets a near fall when Waller gets his foot on the ropes. Waller drops Trick on the ropes and Waller with a slingshot rolling flatliner for a near fall. Waller goes to the turnbuckles for a springboard elbow drop but Trick moves. Trick with a jumping neck breaker.
Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring and gets on the apron.
Trick yells at Hayes and Waller goes to the floor. Kevin Owens shows up and punches Waller. Owens sends Waller back into the ring and Trick with a jumping knee for the three count.
Winner: Trick Williams
After the match, Hayes picks up Trick's new shirt and he applauds Trick's victory.
