WWE NXT REPORT: NXT UNDERGROUND, MORE MATCHES FOR NEW YEAR'S EVIL, IS ILJA OKAY TO GO NEXT WEEK?, HOW BAD IS ANDRE CHASE'S LUCK?, THE END OF AN ERA FOR A UNIT, A LEGADO REUNION (OF SORTS), AND MORE

We are back and Match of the Year is Ilja Dragunov versus Carmelo Hayes from No Mercy.  Moment of the Year is the Undertaker's Arrival.  

Kelly asks Ava for an update on Ilja Dragunov.

Ava says they have not heard from Ilja but he is on his way and he will decide if the match takes place next week.

Match Number Five:  Bron Breakker versus Nathan Frazer

They lock up and Bron backs Frazer into the corner and Bron pats him on the head but Frazer pie faces Bron.  Frazer with a side head lock and Bron tosses Frazer away.  They lock up and Frazer with a side head lock.  Frazer returns to the side head lock.  Bron tries for a belly-to-back suplex and Frazer returns to the side head lock.  Frazer runs around Bron but Bron with a shoulder tackle.  

We see Baron Corbin in BACK watching MONITOR.

Frazer with a waist lock into a side head lock take down.  Bron blocks a flying mare and then he tosses Frazer into the turnbuckles.  Bron with a hard Irish whip and Bron does some push ups.  Bron kicks Frazer and chokes him in the corner.   Bron runs Frazer into the corner and connects with shoulders. Frazer goes for an O'Connor Roll and Bron holds on to the ropes.  Frazer with a running drop kick and Bron goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bron with a double knee gut buster for a near fall.  Bron biels Frazer across the ring.  Frazer punches Bron but Bron with a German suplex for a near fall.  Bron with a bow and arrow.  Frazer with a jaw breaker.  Bron with a boot to the head.  Frazer lands on his feet when Bron pulls him back to his feet.  Frazer with an enzuigiri.  Frazer with punches to Bron.  Bron is sent to the floor when Frazer moves against the ropes.  Frazer with a suicide dive.  Frazer drop kicks Bron into the ring steps.  Frazer goes up top and sets for a cross body but Bron catches him and hits a power slam for a near fall.  Frazer stops a spear with a super kick for a near fall.  Frazer goes up top for a Phoenix Splash and misses it.  Frazer rolls through and is met with a spear for the three count.

Winner:  Bron Breakker

Drew Gulak says he has to do things a certain way.  He tells Dragon Lee and the LWO they want to have a match for next week.  Kemp says heart gets you nowhere.  Dempsey says it does not matter if you are the future.  Adapt, survive, punish, obsess.  Your breaking point is our starting line.  We challenge you to a six man tag match next week.  Drew says NXT is a no fly zone and the will show no quarter.

Brooks and Fallon stop by to tell Josh he came close to winning and Brooks says it might have been different if they were there.  Brooks thanks Josh for what he did for him but he knows that Josh wants to be a singles star.  Brooks tells Fallon to accept Tiffany's challenge for next week.  Fallon says she is looking forward to getting Tiffany's hands dirty.  Brooks says they need to do it one last time.  Josh says they are family and Fallon says she loves them.'

They go their own direction and Brooks stands in the back holding out his hand.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Arianna thanks Ava for her time.  Arianna wants Ava to know about what happened in the women's locker room last week.  She says she was viciously attacked but her bone structure does not give Roxanne Perez the ability to assault her.  She suggests that Roxanne take Anger Management Classes.

Ava says she understands.  Ava says Roxanne will face her at New Year's Evil.  Ava wishes Arianna luck.

We take a look at the Women's Title match with a Face to Face with Lyra Valkyria and Blair Davenport.

Megan Morant asks why has it taken this long.

Blair says Lyra blew out her knee in the UK.  Lyra says Blair has been avoiding her.  Lyra mentions how Blair jumped people in the parking lot.  Blair says she had to make people look at her.  Lyra reminds Blair of what Nikkita Lyons did to her.  Blair says she won the Iron Survivor.  You wish anyone else had won.  Lyra says she welcomes competition.

Megan asks what will happen next week. Lyra says she knows Blair will do anything to win the title.  Blair wants to win to be champion but Lyra says she will win to prove she is the best.  Blair says she saw Lyra rise and she will be the reason for her fall.

Match Number Six:  Oba Femi versus Tavion Heights in a Breakout Tournament SemiFinals Match

They lock up and Tavion with a waist lock but Oba blocks a German suplex.  Oba with an elbow. Tavion grabs the leg but Oba gets to the ropes.  Oba kicks Tavion away and Tavion with a take down.  Tavion tries to get Oba on his shoulders but Oba with elbows and punches.  Oba gets a near fall.  Oba with a uranage back breaker for a near fall.  Oba with an elbow to the back of the head.  Oba with forearms and a wrist lock.  Oba works on the ribs and shoulder.  Oba with an Irish whip but Tavion with elbows and punches.  Oba avoids a punch and Oba tosses Tavion to the mat.  Oba with a running uppercut into the corner for a near fall.  Oba with a sleeper.  Oba with a double underhook and Tavion tries to get Oba on his shoulders.  Tavion with a Death Valley Driver and he hits a dead lift German suplex and an overhead belly-to-belly throw.  Oba goes to the floor.

Tavion goes to the floor and he sends Oba back into the ring.  Oba with a clothesline and he sends Tavion face first into the mat.  Oba with a pop up power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Oba Femi (advances to Finals)

Oba and Riley stand next to each other by the contract.

We see Ilja arrive in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment.  He tells Kelly he is looking for Trick Williams.

We are back with a look at what happened last week between Ilja Dragunov and Ridge Holland.

Next week, Ridge Holland will speak.

Match Number Seven:  Joe Coffey versus Joe Gacy

They lock up and go to a stalemate.  They lock up again and Coffey with a punch and Gacy fires back.  Gacy with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Coffey stays on his feet.  Gacy with a drop kick and clothesline.  Gacy is sent to the floor.  Wolfgang has to be held back but Mark and Coffey with a suicide dive that sends Gacy into the announce table.  Coffey sends Gacy back into the ring.  Coffey with punches and Irish whips.  Coffey with a back breaker.  Coffey with a double jump elbow drop for a near fall.  Coffey with punches and Gacy wants more.  Gacy with punches and chops.  Gacy with forearms and a belly-to-back suplex.  Gacy with an Irish whip and a back body drop.  Gacy with a suicide dive onto Coffey.  
Gacy send Coffey back into the ring and Gacy with a uranage and he gets a near fall.

Hank and Tank pull Mark and Wolfgang off the apron and they fight to the back.  Coffey with a head butt and a Glasgow Sendoff.  Gacy avoids All the Best for the Bells and hits the handspring clothesline for the three count.

Winner:  Joe Gacy

Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde are asked about the challenge.  Wilde say they cannot have their style disrespected.  Lee says they will show that high flying is best.

Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice show up and Cruz says they are proud of Elektra.  Elektra introduces them to Lola.

Eddy Thorpe is in the locker room preparing for NXT Underground.

We see Dijak in the back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Vic runs through the card for New Year's Evil.

Match Number Eight:  Eddy Thorpe versus Dijak in NXT Underground

Eddy with a German suplex and he goes for a rear naked choke and locks it in but Dijak escapes.  Eddy with a cross arm breaker but Dijak locks his hands and stands on Eddy's head and stomps on it.  Dijak misses punches and Eddy with a kick.  Eddy with forearms and chops.  Eddy with kicks and a Saito suplex.  Eddy is stopped by Dijak and Dijak goes for a choke slam but Eddy counters into a triangle.  Dijak with a one arm sit out power bomb to escape the hold.  Dijak with punches to Eddy.  Eddy with a head butt and Dijak tosses Eddy into the ring post and he takes out some of the people at ringside.  Dijak goes to the floor and he grabs Eddy by the throat but Eddy with a triangle.  Dijak swings Eddy into the ringside barrier.  Eddy moves the ring steps over to the announce table.  Dijak removes the hood of the announce table and throws it onto Eddy.  Dijak cleans off the announce table.

Dijak gets Eddy on his shoulders and he goes to the ring steps.  Eddy escapes and applies a rear naked choke.  Dijak is able to send Eddy to the floor.  Dijak slams Eddy's head into the ring steps.  Eddy goes to the other side of the ringside area and Dijak with a cannonball out of the ring.  Dijak brings Eddy back into the ring.  Dijak goes for a crossface chicken wing but Eddy blocks it.  Eddy with a kick and German suplex.  Eddy with kicks to Dijak and another German suplex.  Eddy goes for another German but Dijak with elbows.  Dijak misses a back elbow and Eddy tries for a Saito Suplex but Dijak escapes.  Eddy with a brainbuster and the referee checks on Dijak.  Eddy with a rear naked choke.  Eddy gets on Dijak's back and Dijak falls back to the mat to escape the hold.  Dijak with forearms to the back. Dijak with a crossface chicken wing.  Eddy with a snap mare.

Dijak with a cyclone kick to Eddy and both men are down.  Dijak with another cyclone kick.  Eddy refuses to give up.  Dijak sets for a third one but Eddy with an enzuigiri to stop Dijak.  Eddy with a waist lock and Dijak with elbows.  Eddy with a head butt to the back and forearms.  Eddy with a German suplex to send Dijak to the floor but Dijak lands on his feet and he grabs Eddy and hits Feast Your Eyes. Dijak attacks some of the trainees at ringside before picking up Eddy and connecting with a forearm.  Eddy back drops Dijak onto the apron and Dijak hangs over the edge of the ring.  Dijak removes his belt and wraps it around his hand.  Eddy blocks the punch and Eddy hits Manifest Destiny.  Eddy grabs the belt and he whips Dijak with it a few times.  Eddy with a sleeper.  

Dijak gets Eddy on his shoulders and he runs Eddy into the ring post to escape the hold.  Dijak sets for a power bomb to the floor but Eddy counters with a rana that sends Dijak to the floor.  Eddy with an elbow drop off the apron onto Dijak.  Eddy with Manifest Destiny on the floor.  The referee checks Dijak but Dijak tells the referee he is not done.  Eddy leaps onto Dijak's back and applies a sleeper.  Dijak runs Eddy into the apron but Eddy holds on.  Eddy holds on when Dijak backs Eddy into the ring post.  Dijak backs Eddy into the ringside barrier but Eddy holds on. Dijak goes to the ring steps.  Eddy with Manifest Destiny through the table and both men are down.  The referee checks on Dijak and he calls for the bell.

Winner:  Eddy Thorpe

Ilja Dragunov and Trick Williams sit in a room.

Trick says he needs to know if he is able to strap up the boots to face him at New Year's Evil.  Trick says he is not holding back.  

Trick signs the contract.

He says if Ilja needs more time, they can push the match back.

Ilja says nothing and no one can stop him.  Ilja takes off the neck brace and he signs the contract.

Ilja says the match is on.

They shake hands.

We go to credits.
