STRONG Openweight Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Satoshi Kojima
The match begins with Kojima backing Kingston into the corner before landing a chop, Kojima then gets Kingston in a headlock and Kingston gets free before blocking shoulder tackles from Kojima. Kingston exits the ring while addressing his seemingly injured shoulder, Kingston gets back in the ring and he attacks Kojima with some strikes. Kojima quickly recovers and he knocks Kingston out of the ring after landing a shoulder tackle, Kojima leaves the ring and he follows Kingston around the arena while landing strikes. Kingston recovers and he sends Kojima into the barricade, Kingston gets Kojima back in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Kingston keeps Kojima down while applying a chin lock to him, Kojima gets to the ropes and Kingston stomps away on him. Kingston also traps Kojima in the corner while landing chops, Kojima gets free and he attacks Kingston with Machinegun Chops. Kojima gets Kingston in the corner and Kingston gets free before landing chops of his own, Kingston then hits Kojima with an exploder suplex.
Kojima recovers and he sets up for a tornado DDT before Kingston knocks him to the arena floor, Kingston looks for a suplex on the ring apron and Kojima counters with a DDT. Kojima gets Kingston back into the ring before nailing him with another DDT, Koji sets up for a Koji Cutter and Kingston counters with multiple suplexes for a near fall. Kingston holds Kojima down while attacking the injured arm, Kingston and Kojima both go for lariats and Kingston goes down. Kojima follows up by hitting Kingston with a Koji Cutter for a near fall, Kojima goes for a lariat and Kingston counters with multiple spinning back fists. Kojima stays on his feet and he manages to hit Kingston with a lariat after all, Kojima follows up by nailing Kingston with a brain buster for a near fall. Kojima goes for a lariat and Kingston counters with one of his own, Kingston then hits Kojima with a snow plow for a near fall. Kingston then hits Kojima with a spinning back fist followed by another snow plow for a three count.

After the match, Gabe Kidd hits the ring and he attacks Eddie Kingston. Kidd gets the microphone and he accuses Kingston of ducking him, Kidd says he will come for Kingston whenever he wants before landing a piledriver on him.
- Trent Berretta is shown arriving to the building when Emily Kaye approaches him, Berretta talks about leaving NJPW four years ago and he wonders what would’ve happened if he stayed. Berretta says he will show both NJPW and AEW what he is all about.
Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) vs. Bullet Club (Kenta & David Finlay)
The match begins with a brawl between both teams on the arena floor as Bullet Club jumped Moxley and Yuta during their entrance, Kenta grabs Yuta and he sends him into the ring post. Finlay grabs Moxley and he drops him on the top of the guardrail, Kenta traps Yuta so Finlay can nail him with some chops. Kenta gets Yuta in the ring while attacking him with some strikes, Kenta traps Yuta in the corner while landing shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Finlay tags in and he nails Yuta with his own shoulder thrusts to the midsection, Finlay then hits Yuta with a suplex for a near fall. Kenta tags back in and he nails a kneeling Yuta with some kicks, Yuta fights back and he manages to drop Kenta before tagging Moxley into the match. Moxley quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Moxley sends Kenta into the corner before landing a corner clothesline followed by a delayed piledriver for a near fall. Moxley keeps Kenta down while landing elbow strikes to his head, Moxley and Kenta exchange a bunch of kicks in the middle of the ring.
Moxley drops Kenta before getting him in a cloverleaf, Finlay interferes and Yuta nails him with a forearm strike. Moxley returns to Kenta and he nails Kenta with a cutter, Moxley and Yuta set up for a spike piledriver until Finlay helps break things up. Finlay tags in before mounting Moxley and landing a ton of strikes, Finlay follows up with a back breaker on Moxley for a near fall. Finlay keeps Moxley grounded while ripping away at his face, Moxley fights back and Kenta interferes before raking his eyes. Finlay drags Moxley to the ropes before choking him along the middle rope, Moxley recovers and he drops Finlay with a lariat. Yuta makes the tag and he quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Yuta then hits Finlay with a top rope forearm strike followed by a German suplex for a near fall. Finlay fights back and Yuta catches him in a roll up for a near fall, Finlay recovers and he nails Yuta with a back breaker followed by a dominator for a near fall. Kenta tags in and he gets a few near falls on a downed Yuta, Yuta fights back and Kenta spikes him with a DDT for some near falls.
Kenta sets up for the Go To Sleep and Yuta gets free before landing a drop kick, Finlay goes to distract the ref and Kenta misses a belt shot on Yuta. Yuta then hits Kenta with a Yutalizer, Moxley and Finlay are tagged into the match by their respective partners. Moxley quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Moxley nails Finlay with a striking combo and Finlay counters by landing a spear. Kenta tags in and he hits Moxley with a top rope double stomp for a near fall, Kenta goes for Go To Sleep and Moxley manages to avoid it. Moxley and Kenta have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Kenta goes for the Go To Sleep again and Moxley counters with a Death Rider for a three count.

IWGP World TV Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. Mike Bailey
The match begins with Bailey nailing Sabre Jr with a multiple strike combo, Bailey follows up by knocking Sabre Jr out of the ring after landing Speedball Kicks. Bailey then lands a triangle moonsault on Sabre Jr before sending him into the barricade, Bailey gets back in the ring and Sabre Jr trips him up before snapping his neck on the ring apron. Sabre Jr keeps Bailey down while manipulating his ankle, Sabre Jr transitions to a bow and arrow stretch against Bailey. Bailey tries fighting back and Sabre Jr drops him before kicking him right in the back, Bailey fights back again and he cracks Sabre Jr with some strikes. Sabre Jr quickly recovers to snap the arm of Bailey before applying the arm bar to him, Bailey gets to the ropes before breaking the submission attempt. Bailey fights back and he has a striking exchange with Sabre Jr in the middle of the ring, Bailey ends the exchange before hitting Sabre Jr with a missile drop kick. Bailey then hits Sabre Jr with a variety of kicks to drop him, Bailey then hits Sabre Jr with a standing shooting star press for a near fall.
Sabre Jr tries getting up and bailey nails him with a head kick for a near fall, Sabre Jr avoids another head kick before tripping Bailey up. Sabre Jr and Bailey both miss some more kicks before exchanging snap mares, Bailey eventually hits Sabre Jr with a penalty kick. Bailey goes for the moonsault knee drop and Sabre Jr gets his knees up as well, Sabre Jr and Bailey exchange kicks while in a seated position. Sabre Jr and Bailey have another striking exchange before Bailey takes over, Sabre Jr recovers and he stomps on the injured leg of Bailey. Sabre Jr keeps Bailey down while stomping on both of his injured legs, Sabre Jr catches Bailey in a modified ankle lock and he transitions to an STF a short time later. Bailey eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold up, Sabre Jr goes for a heel hook and Bailey rolls to the ring apron. Sabre Jr and Bailey have a striking exchange on the ring apron, Bailey gets up and he nails Sabre Jr with a moonsault knee press on the ring apron.
Bailey follows up on that by sending Sabre Jr to the arena floor with a top rope dive, Bailey gets Sabre Jr back in the ring before missing a tornado kick. Sabre Jr goes for a tornado DDT and Bailey counters with a tornado kick followed by the Ultimate Weapon for a near fall, Sabre Jr avoids a kick from Bailey before landing a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Bailey then catches Sabre Jr in a roll up and Sabre Jr counters with one of his own, Sabre Jr and Bailey exchange a plethora of roll ups for multiple near falls. Bailey hits Sabre Jr with a standing Spanish fly for a near fall, Bailey then hits Sabre Jr with a moonsault knee press to the spine. Bailey goes for a tornado kick and Sabre Jr catches him in a triangle choke, Sabre Jr transitions to another submission and Bailey taps out after his finger gets broken.

IWGP Women’s Championship: Mayu Iwatani (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer
The match begins with Vaquer taking Iwatani down while working over her arm, Iwatani gets free and she attacks the arm of Vaquer. Iwatani gets Vaquer in a headlock and Vaquer gets free before landing a few strikes, Iwatani gets Vaquer back in a headlock after both miss drop kicks. Iwatani then nails Vaquer with a spin kick to the midsection followed by a drop kick, Vaquer catches Iwatani with a super kick after pulling on her hair. Iwatani fights back and Vaquer nails her with a rope assisted dragon screw leg whip, Iwatani goes for a sunset flip and Vaquer counters with a leg drop for a near fall. Vaquer keeps Iwatani down while smashing her face into the mat multiple times for another near fall, Vaquer stands Iwatani up while smashing her face into the turnbuckle a few times. Iwatani fights back and Vaquer cracks her with some headbutts, Vaquer traps Iwatani in the ropes while giving her a face wash. Iwatani recovers and she drops Vaquer with a head scissors takedown, Iwatani uses a drop kick to knock Vaquer out of the ring. Iwatani goes for a dive and Vaquer nails her with a head kick to prevent it, Vaquer then hits Iwatani with a springboard clothesline for a near fall.
Vaquer goes for a package piledriver and Iwatani gets free before landing a super kick, Iwatani then hits Vaquer with a dragon suplex. Vaquer leaves the ring and Iwatani nails her with a suicide dive, Iwatani gets Vaquer in the ring and she lands a top rope frog splash for a near fall. Iwatani sets up for a moonsault and Vaquer catches her in midair with a triangle choke, Iwatani eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission. Vaquer stands Iwatani up while landing multiple headbutts, Vaquer then drops Iwatani with a release German suplex. Vaquer then hits Iwatani with a meteora for a near fall, Iwatani escapes a package piledriver attempt before landing a crucifix driver for a near fall. Iwatani follows up by nailing Vaquer with a head kick for a near fall, Iwatani then hits Vaquer with a tombstone piledriver followed by a top rope moonsault for a three count.

NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Trent Berretta
The match begins with some chain wrestling between Takagi and Berretta, Takagi gets Berretta in a headlock before dropping him with a shoulder tackle. Takagi keeps Berretta down while applying a chin lock to him, Takagi releases the hold before landing a few strikes. Berretta recovers and he drops a charging Takagi with a meteora, Berretta traps Takagi in the corner while landing strikes. Berretta looks for a tornado DDT before landing a head scissors takedown and super kick instead on Takagi, Takagi gets angry and he gets into a striking exchange with Berretta. Takagi eventually drops Berretta with a short clothesline before sending him out of the ring, Takagi leaves the ring and he sends a charging Berretta into the barricade. Takagi cracks Berretta with a few strikes before nailing him with a DDT on the arena floor, Takagi gets Berretta back into the ring before standing on his midsection. Takagi stands Berretta up before nailing him with a brain buster for a near fall, Takagi follows up by applying a body scissors to a downed Berretta.
Takagi releases the hold and Berretta starts fighting back against him, Takagi lands a knee to the midsection of Berretta. Berretta gets to the ring apron before landing a slingshot spear against a charging Takagi, Berretta then nails Takagi with a tornado DDT. Takagi leaves the ring and Berretta nails him with a middle rope moonsault to send them both crashing to the arena floor, Berretta grabs a table and he hits Takagi with it. Berretta gets a table and Takagi back into the ring, the ref tries to prevent Berretta from using the table and Berretta takes the ref out. Berretta then nails Takagi with a death valley driver through the table, Berretta grabs a piece of the table and Takagi takes it from him before hitting him with it. Berretta leaves the ring and Takagi follows him out there before hitting him with a piece of the broken table, Takagi then sends Berretta into the ring post. Takagi gets Berretta back in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Berretta gets up while exchanging strikes with Takagi. Berretta ends then exchange by hitting Takagi with multiple German suplexes, Berretta then hits Takagi with a running knee strike for a near fall.
Takagi catches Berretta in a roll up before planting him with a DDT, Takagi misses a lariat before nailing a Gory Special on Berretta. Takagi follows up by nailing Berretta with a wheelbarrow suplex into the corner, Takagi gets Berretta to the top rope and he follows him up there. Berretta fights back and Takagi blocks his sunset bomb attempt, Berretta returns to the top rope and Takagi nails him with a super death valley driver for a near fall. Takagi goes for the Last Of The Dragon and Berretta counters with a roll up for a near fall, Berretta and Takagi have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Takagi then cracks Berretta with a Pumping Bomber followed by the Last Of The Dragon for a near fall, Berretta and Takagi have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Berretta then hits Takagi with a Dude Buster from out of nowhere for a near fall, Berretta and Takagi have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Berretta ends the exchange by hitting Takagi with a piledriver for a near fall, Berretta sets up for a Dude Buster again and Takagi defends. Takagi then hits Berretta with a power bomb for a near fall, Berretta misses an enziguri and Takagi cracks him with a sliding forearm strike.
Takagi keeps Berretta down while applying a twister to him and Berretta eventually gets to the ropes, Takagi traps Berretta in the ropes before landing an elbow strike. Takagi then hits Berretta with a Last Of The Dragon for a three count.
Winner: Shingo Takagi, still your NEVER Openweight Champion
After the match, Shingo Takagi wonders who his next challenger will be and Tama Tonga makes his way to the ring to reveal himself as the next challenger. Takagi says their rematch will happen at WrestleKingdom on January 4.
