COMPLETE CZW LIMELIGHT 22 COVERAGE FROM MARYLAND

Note: During the intermission of the show, which happened after the tag team gauntlet match, the feed from the building and from Fite+ was interrupted. Thus the coverage of the show was delayed and all matches from the card weren’t covered. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The matches covered below are all that is left that I can cover from the event, due to the streaming issues.)

Isaiah Wolf w/Ruthless LaLa vs. Man Like Deriss

This match is joined in progress and we see Wolf getting a near fall on Deriss, Wolf misses a discus clothesline and Deriss cracks him with a few strikes. Deriss and Wolf then exchange a few pin attempts for a few near falls, Wolf then cracks Deriss with a knee strike. Wolf goes for his finishes and Deriss escapes before landing a cutter, Wolf recovers and he cracks Deriss with a running knee strike. Deriss gets up and he drops Wolf with a super kick, Deriss goes to the top rope and Wolf gets up there as well. Wolf gets Deriss down from the ropes after landing a superplex, Deriss and Wolf have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Wolf ends the exchange by hitting Deriss with a clothesline followed by a super kick, Wolf then hits Deriss with another knee strike for a three count.

Rich Swann (c) vs. Griffin McCoy

The match begins with McCoy backing Swann into the corner before letting him go free, McCoy then goes after the arm of Swann and Swann eventually does the same to him. Swann then transitions to a headlock against McCoy and McCoy gets free, McCoy backs Swann into the ropes before taunting him. McCoy then drops Swann with an arm drag, Swann recovers and he quickly drops a charging McCoy with a drop kick. Swann keeps McCoy in a seated position while kicking him right in the back, Swann then traps McCoy in the corner while landing more strikes. McCoy gets out of the corner and Swann cracks him with more strikes, McCoy fires back and he has a striking exchange with Swann. McCoy then drops a charging Swann with a high kick to the head, McCoy follows up by hitting Swann with a knee strike to the midsection. McCoy then hits Swann with a gut buster for a near fall, Swann tries fighting back and McCoy drops him with a jumping back kick for a near fall.

McCoy slows things down further by applying an abdominal stretch to Swann, Swann gets free and he nails McCoy with a hip toss. McCoy goes to the ropes and Swann gets him down with a rana, Swann then hits McCoy with a splash for a near fall. McCoy recovers and he places Swann on the top rope before landing a head kick to knock Swann to the arena floor, McCoy kicks Swann and he knocks him into the barricade. McCoy leaves the ring and he attacks Swann with more strikes, McCoy also nails Swann with a drop kick while outside of the ring. McCoy then drops Swann with a drop toe hold onto a bunch of chairs, McCoy gets Swann back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Swann fights back and he drops McCoy with a drop kick, Swann follows up by nailing McCoy with a neck breaker followed by a kick to the face for a near fall. Swann dances around McCoy while popping him with a striking combo for a near fall, Swann misses a leap from the ropes before McCoy drops him with a clothesline.

McCoy then drops Swann with a snow plow for a near fall, McCoy sets up for a half and half suplex and Swann defends. Swann eventually catches McCoy in a roll up before landing multiple head kicks, McCoy misses a disaster kick before eating a spinning head kick from Swann. McCoy and Swann take their battle to the ring apron, McCoy and Swann have a striking exchange on the ring apron. Swann sets up for a cutter and McCoy defends before landing a piledriver on the hardest part of the ring, McCoy gets Swann back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Swann recovers and he catches McCoy in a victory roll for a near fall, McCoy misses a disaster kick and Swann catches him with a handspring cutter for a near fall. Swann then hits McCoy with a top rope frog splash for another near fall, McCoy fights back and he nails Swann with an x-factor. McCoy then hits Swann with a buckle bomb followed by a half and half suplex, McCoy goes to the top rope and he nails Swann with a frog splash for a near fall.

McCoy then hits Swann with another half and half suplex followed by a disaster kick, Myles Hawkins comes to the ringside area and he pulls the ref out of the ring before attacking the ref. Hawkins hits the ring and he attacks McCoy to cause a DQ.

Match Result: No Contest, Rich Swann retains the title

After the match, Myles Hawkins accidentally hits Rich Swann with the title belt after trying to hit Griffin McCoy with it.
