MAIN EVENT TIME, CODY TRIES TO TAKE OUT PRIEST, IYO TRIES TO GET PAST BIANCA, CAN LOGAN PAUL TAKE REY'S TITLE, MIZ TV, NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR JOHN CENA, RHEA DEFENDS, SETH VS. DREW LEADS US OFF, SAMI VS. JD - FULL WWE CROWN JEWEL BLOG

The Elimination Chamber is in Perth Australia in February.  I think that means a 5 am start for me.  I will be watching that sucker on delay!

Bianca did an interview before her match with Iyo Sky.  She said that she has been working while she is gone.  She took out Bayley last night.  Now it’s time to do that to Iyo.

Big pop for Bianca coming out.  Iyo got a good reaction as well.

Belair is starting out strongly against the champ. The tide turned when she charged the corner and Iyo moved.  The champ is in control now.  Bianca is selling her leg.  

Iyo missed a senton off of the top.  The crowd is pretty quiet.  Even as Bianca cam back it was still pretty quiet.  Bianca did a kip up, which Cole said wasn’t smart.  Nope, not with an injured knee.  Bianca got a two and there was no real reaction.  This is the first match of the night where the crowd was dead.  Puerto Rico, you still own the Title of best crowd.

Iyo got Bianca in the Tree of woe and went to the leg.  She got a two and then went back to the knee.  Bianca did a big suplex but only got a two.  

In the tip sheet I said they should flip the Title.  I take that back.  The crowd doesn’t care about this so don’t do it.  It’s not bad, they are working hard, but the crowd couldn’t care less.  I feel for both women.  They should take it home.

Suddenly, there’s Bayley at ringside.  Bianca jawed at her and Iyo took advantage to get a two.  Iyo is shocked Bayley is there.  Bayley said trust her.  What choice does she have now?

Iyo did a moonsault from the top to the floor on Bianca.  She did a springboard dropkick but only got a two.  But she ran into a Spinebuster for a two.  The crowd isn’t reacting to any of this but to their credit the women are acting like they are.  

Bianca had the Title won when Bayley got on the ring and jawed at the ref.  Bianca knocked Bayley to the floor then went to work on Iyo.  Bayley came over and Iyo hit her by accident.  Bianca went into the ring for the win when Bayley grabbed her.  She was about to put her through the table when Kairi Sane appeared and attacked Bianca.  She laid her out on the floor.  Bianca barely made it in the ring at 9 but ate a moonsault from Iyo.  The champ retained.  There were boos for the finish.

After the match, Kairi and Iyo laid out Bianca.  Iyo hugged Kairi.  Bayley is stunned since she drove her out of WWE.  The drama continues.

This would have worked so much better somewhere else.  The crowd just wasn’t into it.

Damien Priest, sans briefcase, came out first for his match with Cody.  I love that the briefcase is out of his hands.  This is the second time in a row they took the cash in possibility off the table before the main event.  Now people can watch that match and not rubberneck waiting for Priest to run out.

Cody out next to a big reaction, of course.  He and Priest have been jawing since he came out, you know like people who really hate each other would.  Cody jumped into the ring and Priest attacked before the bell.  They have to give the fans the Cody win here.  They have gotten too many finishes that they didn’t like, or care about as with the last bout.  Cody needs to go over here.

Back and forth early on.  Fans are chanting for Cody.  Priest took him out on the floor and with Damien in control the fans chanted they wanted tables.  I guess they only like Cody so much.

They were going back and forth when Finn Balor came out.  Of course JD came in from the other side but Cody dusted him.  Priest took control again and got a two count.  Finn called for Dom to come out and he did, with a chair.  He got massive boos.  Before Dom could get to the ring Jey Uso showed up and we had a superkick party on them all.  Jey took the chair and ran them off.  The crowd liked that.  Priest was stunned.  Cody grabbed a two count and then hit a Cutter, some punches and the bionic elbow, two count only.  

Cody hit a Cutter from the top but again only two.  The fans are loving this.  Cody hit three consecutive Crossroads to get the pin.  Really good match and more importantly a win that the viewers and live fans probably needed given the other finishes on the show.

Main event time.  LA Knight is out first, to a big pop.  Then came the champ, with Paul Heyman, to the reaction he deserves as the best in the business right now.  When Roman got to the ring and threw up the one, a LOT of fans did it with him.

This definitely has a big fight feel to it.

It was back and forth early on.  Knight was in control a bit but Roman withstood it and then went to work.  

Roman is so good at taking his time and working the crowd.  I know some fans want all action, and that’s cool, but I like storytelling and performing.

Knight is getting in occasional stuff now as things turn.  Now they are throwing hands and the crowd is way behind him.

Roman went for the Superman but missed.  Knight then ran into one, two count only.  The fans liked the kickout.

Roman went for the Spear but LA leapfrogged him.  He sat the champ on the top rope and jumped into a Superplex.  He hit the elbow but Roman kicked out at two.

Solo came out on the stage.  While he was being attended to, Jimmy Uso came out and pulled Roman out of the ring.  Roman hit a Spear on Knight but only got a two.  Roman is indignant to Knight kicking out.

The fans are chanting “Roman sucks”.  Roman has a Guillotine but Knight powered up.  He hit the BFT but Jimmy put Roman’s leg on the top rope.  Knight had it.  So that’s how they will keep him strong in the loss.  LA went to the floor and worked over Jimmy.  Roman came down but LA worked him over too.  LA put Jimmy through the announce table but he didn’t see Roman coming and he got speared through the barricade.  Back in the ring, Spear.  1-2-3.

It was exactly what I expected it to be.  I didn’t see Knight winning so he had to look like he belonged and get the visual pin before losing.

Overall, it was a solid show.  Thanks for reading.
