WWE NXT REPORT: DID REY HAVE AN IMPACT ON HIS SON'S MATCH?, SOMEONE STANDS UP TO RHEA, THE SCHISM SWARM LIKE LOCUST, THEA IS REJUVENATED, AND MORE

We are back and Rey Mysterio tells Roxanne that he was impressed with her win at the Great American Bash and they agree that gold is next for them.

Rey stops Thea Hail and she is very nervous to see Thea.

Rey tells Thea that he knows what it is like to be the ultimate underdog.  He knows that she is struggling but he sees the heart every time she steps in the ring.  He tells her that she will be a champion and to believe in herself.

Thea asks if Rey still loves Dom despite their problems.

Rey says he does not like who his son is now and he made some bad choices.  He is his son and he will always loves him.  Rey says he hopes Dom understands who his real family is.

Andre and Duke show up and remind Thea that was Rey.  

Thea says that Rey wouldn't have thrown in the towel.

Match Number Four:  Bron Breakker versus Von Wagner (with Robert Stone)

Bron with a knee to the midsection followed by shoulders in the corner.  Von with shoulders of his own.  Von with forearms.  Von with an Irish whip and Bron with a shoulder tackle.  Von escapes a suplex attempt and Von with shoulder tackles.  Von with a butterfly suplex and Bron rolls to the floor.  Von pulls off the hood for the announce table but Bron runs Von into the apron.  Von punches Bron on the apron.  Von with forearms.  Bron with a running clothesline.  Bron with a running hip into the corner for a near fall.  Von with punches and he misses a boot and gets caught in the ropes.  Bron with a kick to the hamstring followed by a German suplex and another suplex.  Bron gets a near fall after a moonsault.  

Von with a punch and both men with clotheslines and they go down.  Von with punches and a short arm clothesline.  Von traps the arms and he head butts Bron and follows with a punch.  Von with a splash into the corner and a running boot to the head.  Von gets Bron on his shoulders and Bron escapes and spears Von and gets the three count.

Winner:  Bron Breakker

After the match, Bron grabs Stone and presses him over his head.  Von makes the save for Stone and kicks Bron to the floor.   Von power bombs Bron through the table and candy flies.

We go to the woods for Eddy Thorpe.  He says when he wants to feel grounded, he goes to nature.  He talks about fighting for his people and leading them on the right path.  Eddy says he is furious after what Dijak did to him.  Eddy says when he falls short it is no one's fault but his own.  He has to regroup and readjust.  He says he has to move forward without fear.  That is what he needs to do to overcome Dijak.

Dom and Rhea are in the locker room.  Rhea tells Dom not to let Rey being her distract him.

Lyra Valkyria bumps into Rhea.

Lyra says she did what Rhea told her to do.  She knows what Rhea is doing.  She says use and manipulate people.  You help Dom hold on to the title.  

Rhea says Dom doesn't need her help.  

Lyra tells Rhea to practice what she preaches or does Mami need to help again.

We are back and Tony and Channing have a photo shoot.

The Schism interrupt and want to know where the Creeds are.

Rip asks what information they know and Tony and Channing say many things.

Jagger says that their friends will help them remember.

Jagger says they have something that they are interested in.

Joe tells them to stay on task and worry about the Creeds.

Rip says they will stay on task for now.

Myles Borne joins Drew and Charlie.

Match Number Five:  Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen (with Fallon Henley) versus Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak (with Myles Borne)

Drew and Brooks start things off and they lock up.  Brooks backs Drew into the corner but Drew with the advantage and he chops Brooks.  Brooks with chops and clotheslines to Drew.  Drew with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot.  Brooks with a slam but he misses an elbow drop.  Drew with a punch and side head lock.  Charlie tags in and he kicks Brooks.  Charlie with a hip lock take down.  Drew asks Myles for water and Drew tells Myles to leave since he doesn't have water.  Charlie with a shoulder tackle and a hip toss.  Brooks kicks Charlie away.  Josh tags in and gets a near fall.  Brooks tags in and Charlie is able to make the tag.  Brooks and Josh with a double hip toss to Drew.

Josh tags in and he kicks Drew.  Drew with a side head lock and Josh gets Drew on his shoulders and sends Drew face first to the mat.  Brooks and Josh with a sliding double punch to Drew while Charlie distracts the referee.  Charlie tags in and he give Josh an arm wringer in the ropes and kicks Josh in the arm.  Drew with a running forearm to the injured arm.  Charlie tags in and he kicks Josh in the ribs and hits a side Russian leg sweep.  Dempsey with a double wrist lock into a cross arm breaker.  Josh rolls over to get a near fall but Charlie holds on.  Josh with a one arm power bomb and Brooks tags in and he takes care of Drew and Charlie.  Brooks with a slam to Drew.

Brooks with a power slam to Charlie for a near fall.  Josh sends Drew to the floor.  Drew and Josh exchange punches on the floor and then Brooks and Charlie go to the floor.  Drew and Josh go into the ring while Brooks and Charlie brawl.  Damon Kemp with a suplex on the floor.  Dempsey with a Dragon Suplex for the three count.

Winners:  Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak

Kelani Jordan is in the back and Dana wants to know what was going on.  Dana says that Kelani was too nervous and she didn't show the killer instinct.  They are mocking and ridiculing you.  She doesn't want people to do the same for Kelani.

Kelani says that was only her third match and she is looking for that killer instinct. 

Dana says she is going to show Kelani what her killer instinct needs to look like when she faces Blair.

Kiana says Gigi failed to expose her wild past.  Ivy will be the first to experience a different side of Kiana James.

Match Number Six:  Ivy Nile versus Kiana James

Kiana attacks Ivy as the bell rings and she sends Ivy into the turnbuckles.  Ivy sends Kiana to the apron and Kiana pulls Ivy to the floor.  Ivy gets Kiana on her shoulders but Kiana escapes and sends Ivy into the ring post.  Kiana with a suplex on the floor.  Kiana gets a near fall.  Ivy with an enzuigiri to send Kiana to the floor.  Kiana drops Ivy on the top rope.  Kiana with a kick to the back and she gets a near fall.  Kiana with an arm bar.  Kiana wraps the arm in the ropes.  Kiana with a top wrist lock.  Kiana turns it into a hammer lock.  Kiana sends Ivy shoulder first into the turnbuckles.  Ivy reverses when Kiana tries a second time and she send Kiana into the turnbuckles and Ivy gets a near fall.  

The Schism start making their way to ringside while Kiana has Ivy in an arm bar.  Kiana with a kick and it's a Schism Blizzard around the ring.

Kiana slams Ivy's arm into the mat and Kiana gets a near fall.  Kiana with an arm bar while there is rhythmic pounding of the mat.  Ivy with a back elbow and kick to the leg.  Ivy with a flying shoudler or two.  Ivy with a head scissors.  Ivy with a running thrust kick into the corner.  Kiana with a kick and a spinebuster for a near fall.  Kiana with a Fujiwara arm bar.  Ivy with a rollup for a near fall.  Ivy with a power slam for a near fall.  Ivy with a Dragon Sleeper but Ivy is grabbed by Ava and Ivy releases the hold.  Kiana sends Ivy to the mat and hits 401k for the three count.

Winner:  Kiana James

After the match, Ivy is held by the Schismers and they want to know about the Creeds.

Tony D'Angelo and Channing Lorenzo come to the ring and the Schism leave.

We see Angel and he is getting text messages from Humberto and he apologizes for what he did.  They talk about their grandfather and how he got them into wrestling.  Angel says they should be honoring him.  They both look at the same photo of their grandfather and they have an epiphany.  

Tyler Bate polishes his fake Trophy and Meta Four show up and they want Tyler to give Noam the trophy back.

Lash says it is an emotional support trophy for Noam.

Nathan Frazer shows up and he has the real Heritage Cup.

Nathan says maybe he can get Tyler to give back the trophy if they admit it is not real.

Nathan suggests that he will give Noam a Heritage Cup title match at Heatwave if Noam admits it is fake.

Noam says he apologizes for nothing.

Tyler gives Noam his fake trophy while Nathan says we will see who the real champion is.

We see Dragon Lee walking in the back with Rey Mysterio.

We see Dom and Rhea in the back as they make their way to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tiffany is with McKenzie and McKenzie asks what is next.

Tiffany says she splurged on a shopping spree over the weekend.  She talks about what she was trying on and she had a dilemma over what to buy.  Tiffany says she should wear pink because it is so Tiff Tiff.  

McKenzie asks Tiffany who is her next opponent.

Tiffany says she didn't think about it and the answer is no one.

Trick goes to the parking lot and he is asked about Ilja.

Wes Lee tells Trick to tell Melo that he is coming for Hayes after he is done with Dijak.

Kemp calls Trick Melo's purse holder.

Drew says that no fight camp will work for him.

Trick says he has something special for them next week.

Myles shows up and Drew tells him he is late.

Next week, Tony and Channing defend the titles against The Dyad.  Wes Lee faces Dijak in a Number One Contender's Match.  Dana Brooke faces Blair Davenport.

Rey Mysterio comes out and he has something to say.  

Rey says he wants to introduce the future North American Champion, Dragon Lee.

Match Number Seven:  Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley) versus Dragon Lee (with Rey Mysterio) for the North American Championship

They lock up and Lee backs Dom into the ropes and Lee with a clean break.  They lock up again and Dom with a chop instead of a clean break and then he runs into the ropes.  Dom with a kick and side head lock.  Lee with a head scissors take down and a kick into the corner followed by a leg sweep and slingshot boot to the head.  Lee kicks Dom to the floor.  Dom gets in Rey's face and Rhea shows up but Lee with a drop kick through the ropes behind Rhea.  Lee sends Dom back into the ring and Dom begs for mercy.  Lee with punches.  Dom misses a drop kick when Lee holds on to the ropes.   Lee with a drop kick of his own.  Lee stretches Dom.

Lee with an Irish whip but Dom slides to the floor.  Lee follows and Dom gets back in the ring first and he stomps on Lee's back.  Dom with boots to the chest.  Dom with a punch in the corner followed by a knee.  Dom with a hard Irish whip.  Dom drops Lee on the top rope and gets a near fall.  Dom with a reverse chin lock.  Lee with elbows and Dom with a forearm.  Lee with an Irish whip and Dom goes to the apron to avoid a splash.  Dom sends Lee into the turnbuckles and hits a slingshot senton for a near fall.  Dom rips off part of Lee's mask and tosses it at Rey.  Dom with a drop kick for a near fall.  Dom with a forearm and he sets for the Three Amigos and hits it for a near fall.

Dom with a forearm to the back of the head.  Dom punches Lee and the referee warns him.  Dom starts to untie Lee's mask.  Lee masks up and he connects with forearms and hits a back elbow.  Dom with an Irish whip and Lee sends Dom into the air and kicks him.  Lee with a dragon screw to Dom and a clothesline that sends Dom over the top rope to the floor.  Lee with a suicide dive into the announce table.  Lee with a running knee to the head and he gets a near fall.  Lee tries to get Dom on his shoulders but Dom with elbows.  Lee is sent t othe apron and Dom misses a forearm.  Lee with a kick and he goes up top.  Dom crotches Lee.  

Lee drops Dom on the turnbuckles into the tree of woe.  Lee with a double stomp for a near fall.  Lee sets for a power bomb but Dom escapes.  Dom with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall.  Dom with forearms and Lee with a German suplex and a jumping knee.  Dom sends Lee into the ropes and he hits a 619 but he misses the frog splash when Lee moves.  Lee with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Rhea asses Dom his title belt and Rey takes it from Dom.  Rhea hits Lee with the belt and Dom with a Michinoku Driver for the three count.

Winner:  Dominik Mysterio (retains championship)

After the match, Rey has some words for his son.  Rhea gets between father and son and she has something to say to Rey and she pushes Rey in the chest.

Lyra Valkyria comes out and she attacks Rhea.  Dragon Lee with a super kick to Dom and Lyra with a spinning heel kick to Rhea.
