WWE RAW REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCHES, CHALLENGES ACCEPTED FOR SUMMERSLAM, VIKING RULES, AND MORE

Your announcers are Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves.

Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

Cody asks everyone what do they want to talk about, and he mentions that Atlanta is his home.

He says they don't have to talk because there is this large shadow that looms over this arena and the same shadow that looms over every arena.  He says we are talking about Brock Lesnar.  He says when Brock is called to this ring and his card has been pulled, he shows up.  We don't need to talk.  Brock should come to the ring to accept his challenge for SummerSlam.  Cody tells Brock to come out right now.

Cody waits for Brock, but Brock is not in a mood to reciprocate.

Cody says Brock is here tonight but he hasn't seen him tonight.  Brock is going to be 'fashionably late'?  If you are going to show up at 9:00, I'll be here.  Maybe Brock will be here at 10:00.  Cody says he will be there.  If you don't show up until the end of the night, Cody says he will be waiting for Brock.

Cody says he would be remised if he didn't bring it up.  He says the woman who built him is in the front row tonight, his mom.  Cody says he is a reason why the catchphrase at the Nightmare Academy would be Funky Like a Monkey but the one who taught him to fight is his mother. 

Cody says his relationship with Brock is complex.  There are only two words to describe it.  They are 'hard times'.  Cody says that is okay.  When you show up, it won't be hard times for him in his home state and his home town.  It will be hard times for Brock.

While Cody goes over to his family, Brock Lesnar's music plays and Cody waits for Brock to come up the aisle, but the music stops.

Cody starts to walk to the back and Brock's music plays again.  

Cody waits for Brock at the entrance and he goes to the back.  We see a chair thrown and then Cody and Brock come out.  Brock hits Cody a few times with the chair.  Brock sends Cody into the apron and then he runs Cody into the ring post.  Brock picks up Cody in front of his mother and he gives Cody an F-5.  Brock stands over Cody and puts him in the kimura..

Brock walks over to Cody's mom and then he returns his attention to Cody.  Brock sends Cody into the ring.  Brock reapplies the kimura and then he releases the hold.

Brock winks at Cody's mom and he says challenge accepted and he will see Cody at SummerSlam.

We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of Brock Lesnar giving his response to Cody Rhodes for SummerSlam.

Match Number One:  Matt Riddle versus Gunther with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci banned from ringside in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Riddle with a waist lock.  Gunther with a wrist lock and he backs Riddle into the corner.  Gunther with chops.  Riddle with strikes and a guillotine.  Riddle tries for a sleeper but Gunther with a snap mare and Gunther with a sleeper of his own.  Riddle with a triangle and Gunther rolls through and gets a near fall.

We see Vinci and Kaiser in GORILLA watching MONITOR.  

Riddle with a triangle and Gunther gets Riddle up and drops him over the top rope.  Riddle with a kick to Gunther and Riddle comes off the steps into a chop.  Gunther kicks Riddle.

We go to commercial.

We are back and both men are down.  We see footage of a superplex by Riddle during the break.  Riddle with chops and Gunther chops back.  They continue the exchange.  Riddle kicks Gunther to block a chop but Gunther with a chop.  Riddle with a Pele Kick and running forearms.  Riddle goes for an exploder but Gunther blocks it and Gunther with a European uppercut.  Riddle with a kick and exploder followed by a kick to the back.  Gunther blocks a kick and he chops Riddle.  Riddle with kicks and Gunther with a chop and German suplex followed by a clothesline for a near fall.  Gunther misses a clothesline and Riddle with a series of knees.  Riddle with a running knee to the back of the head for a near fall.  

Riddle goes up top for a twisting moonsault but Gunther gets his knees up and he hits a drop kick followed by a power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Gunther

After the match, Gunther gets on the announce table and he has something to say.  He says you can boo him as much as you want but it will not stop that tonight is the best night of your sad lives because you came here to see the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time.  Gunther says Matt Riddle is done.  He says he is building a legacy.  Drew, if you want to ride on his coattail, be his guest.  Just like everyone else, you will fall to the Ring General.

Jackie Redmond is in the back with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.  She asks what will be the factor to help them retain.  Liv says there will be many factors.  They talk about the rules, but don't follow them.  Raquel says the tougher the battle, the sweeter the victory.  They are not going to back down from anyone.

Rhea Ripley shows up and she tells Jackie to leave.

Raquel says not even you to Rhea.

Liv starts to talk and Rhea with a head butt to Liv.  Raquel punches Rhea and Rhea punches back.  Rhea and Raquel have to be held back but Rhea kicks Raquel in the knee.

They call for a doctor to check on Raquel.

THE Judgment Day makes their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

We see Valhalla in the back with Erik and Ivar as she channels the Gods.

Back to the ring, THE Judgment Day are ready to speak.

Rhea says they are stronger than ever.  Did anyone ever think they were going to break up.  Anyone with half a brain cell can tell that they are better than everyone.  They are built differently.  They are not going to shatter because someone's ego got bruised.  They not only run Raw, they dominate it.  Raquel just found that out.  Rhea says she is the most dominant woman in this industry.  She says she is unbeatable as the champion.  Finn and Damian will become World champions.  Tomorrow night, her Latino Heat will become the North American Champion.

Dom starts to talk and he is drowned out by boos.  He eventually tells everyone he is going to beat Wes Lee.

Priest says the boos will not stop Dom from becoming North American champion.  The boos do not deny him from becoming World Champion.  Damian tells Finn that Finn gets the first shot at Seth.

Finn says he will be listening to Seth later.  The issues they have will never be over until he is announced as the new World Champion.

Dom says he is talking . . . 

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens make their way to the ring, even if they were not mentioned.

Sami says this is what he was going to say.  He says he thinks he has a good relationship with the fans and he thinks he knows what the fans like and dislike.  Sami asks the people of Atlanta if they paid their hard earned money to listen to Dominik Mysterio talk.  They boo that suggestion.  Sami asks if they paid to see somebody shut Dom's mouth for him.  The crowd likes that.  Sami says they are in luck.  Sami says they are the ones in luck.  They get to do it tonight against Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio.

Priest says they have been focused on individual championships but he sees a few championships that would look good in THE Judgment Day.  If you are so confident, why not put your titles on the line tonight?

Sami says it is not a bad idea, but he says he should let his partner make the decision.  

Kevin asks to lead with his heart.  Kevin says he doesn't care as long as he gets to stun Damian Priest and put his fist through Dominik's face.  He says they are on.

We take a look back at what happened between Rhea Ripley and the Women's Tag Team Champions.  

We go to the training room and the doctor says she is cleared but he has some concerns.  

Raquel refuses to put off the match so Adam is going to let the match happen.
