TIME FOR CIVIL WAR, CAN BALOR GET HIS MOJO BACK, IT'S THE WOMEN'S TURN TO PLAY WITH LADDERS, JOHN CENA OUT OF NOWHERE, DOMMY AND MAMI TAKE ON CODY, GUNTHER-RIDDLE, WOMEN'S TAG TITLE TIME, WE ARE STARTING HOT: MY FULL MONEY IN THE BANK BLOG

Time for Gunther to defend his Intercontinental Title against Riddle.  The champ is seconded by the rest of Imperium.  Riddle has his hair in braids and his ankle taped.  He’s is in MMA mode.  

It was back and forth early on.  Gunther throwing hands, Riddle trying to use MMA.  

Then Gunther went to work on the ankle, even taking off some of his tape.  But Riddle kept fighting back.  He went for a Broton but Gunther was ready and went for a sleeper.  Riddle got out of a suplex attempt but landed on his bad foot.  But still Riddle kept fighting, even hitting a Floating Bro.  The fans are chanting “This is wrestling”.  

Gunther jumped into a Triangle but he stood up and powerbombed Riddle.  Riddle kept fighting but Gunther punched the injured leg and made Riddle tap.  Considering that I didn’t think Riddle had a chance, the match was really well done.  Then again, anything Gunther does is great.

As Gunther was celebrating, we heard the swords and back came Drew McIntyre, he’s back!  

He faced off with the champ and Gunther pie-faced him.  Drew hit a head butt and then a Claymore to leave the champ in a heap. The UK crowd loved it!  Gunther vs. Drew?  Yes please!

Dom is out with Rhea Ripley.  The boos are real and earned.  Dom told Cole he was arrested for jaywalking and spent the night in prison.  The legend grows.  Big pop for Cody when he made his entrance.  Dom bailed when Cody got in the ring.

Dom got in the first shot, a punch to the face.  Then he bailed to the floor.  Cody ripped off the cast and Dom ran to the back.  Cody chased, caught him and brought him into the ring and went to work on him.  So Dom tried to leave through the crowd.  Cody chased again and brought him back.  Rhea then got in the way.  Dom was working on a turnbuckle so the ref stopped him and Rhea took Cody out.  Dom is in charge now.  

Cody came back and got a two with a Disaster Kick.  Rhea tried to get involved but it didn’t work.  Cody got the pin after Crossroads.  I kept waiting for Brock Lesnar to show up but he didn’t.  I am not sure what the point was of Cody fighting Dom but it was fine for what it was.

And out of nowhere, he comes JOHN JACK CENA to a massive pop!  Nice surprise!  He said he was surprised that they are singing along with his song instead of saying he sucked.  He looks genuinely happy to be there.  He said he wondered why it took 20 years to get back to the UK for a PLE.  He blamed the decision makers for thinking that the crowd is hostile and a distraction.  He said that they think they try to take over the show.  Cena said that’s BS, YOU ARE THE SHOW.  So why is he here?  He said that he is there to tell the fans that they are under-appreciated.  He said he’s all about respect and over 20 years they have earned his respect.  They chanted THANK YOU CENA.  He said there isn’t a better audience than that in the United Kingdom.  He said he’s here to try and bring WrestleMania to London.  They popped huge.  He fired them up and said to let them in the back hear what it will be like to have Mania in London.  They went nuts.  Out came Grayson Waller.  Waller did his schtick where he sucked up to Cena.  The fans told him to shut the F up.  Waller said he loves John for Hustle, Loyalty and Respect and here he is lying to the people.  He ragged on the UK and said Mania should be in Australia.  The fans called him a wanker.  Then Waller talked about all of the recent losses Cena had.  He offered to save his career by having Cena on his talk show at WrestleMania in Australia where he could give John the rub and save his career.  John said no.  Waller got mad.  Cena turned his back on him and Waller attacked him from behind.

But Waller got cocky and walked into an AA.  Cena then left to a big reaction.

Time for the women to get ladder crazy.

Bayley is out first.  Followed by Iyo Sky.  Selina Vegas came out next to a nice pop, and that was before people say her waving a Union Jack.  Zoey Stark was out next.  Unlike Bayley, she waited for Trish and they walked to ring together.  Then came Becky Lynch.  She looked like she was wearing a costume of some movie character my old ass doesn’t know.  Zoey attacked Becky on the way out and the fight was on.  In the ring Iyo and Bayley worked on Vega.  We have two 2-on-1 scenarios.  

Trish and Zoey were setting up the ladder for Trish to go up when the other women broke it up.  So Zoey appears to be there to help Trish, at least for now.  The fans are singing for Bayley.  She is telling them to shut up.  Love it.

When Damage CTRL were at the ladder together it was the exact opposite of Zoey and Trish, every women for herself.
