Triple H makes his way to the stage and he has a friend with him next to the OFFICIAL WWE DRAFT PODIUM, the new World Championship belt.
Hunter says it is loud in the building tonight. He welcomes everyone to Raw and the draft. Hunter says things got a little crazy on Friday and tonight will be no different. Hunter reminds us of the rules for the draft. Hunter announces that with Roman Reigns on Smackdown, the World Champion will be determined from the Raw roster.
Hunter mentions one person is not eligible to be drated tonight and that is Brock Lesnar. Brock is now a free agent and he can appear on any brand at any time.
Hunter mentions that some NXT wrestlers are eligible and the new rosters are effective next Monday.
The first round picks are as follows:
1. Raw selects Smackdown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley.
2. Smackdown selects United States Champion Austin Theory.
3. Raw selects Seth Rollins.
4. Smackdown selects Charlotte Flair.
Hunter introduces Paul Heyman, who makes his way to the stage. Hunter shows Paul the new title belt and Paul is impressed.
Paul makes his way to the ring.
Paul introduces himself. Paul says he wanted to discuss a few things and he says with his wisdom, he comes number one. Him, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns have been drafted to Smackdown. Tonight is to determine the fate of the Usos. The Usos, who did NOT NOT NOT NOT win back the tag titles on Friday from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Paul says he will address that with the Usos in private. The Usos will address their problems on Saturday at Backlash as they team with the problem solver named Solo against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle.
One week from Friday, on Smackdown, hopefully anywhere but in the state of Texas, Roman Reigns will take care of all business items. One of them is that hunk of gold on that podium. Paul asks if that title would look relevant around the waist of Roman Reigns? Almost 1,000 days into an historic reign and not just one or two titles, but three titles. You create a championship and Roman will dominate that title to Wrestlemania. Roman cannot compete for that title because he won't be on Raw.
Now the children who think they are men are running around flapping their gums about Roman Reigns. People who should know better. Men who need to act like men. Men who are freakin' jokes. Men who are freakin' jokes. Men who are freakin' clowns. . . .
The freakin' limits have been reached and Seth Rollins' music plays and he makes his way to the ring in his see through Jeff Jarrett "With My Baby Tonight" outfit.
Seth waits for the crowd to stop humming and he cackles. Seth says it is good to see Paul and asks why the long face. Seth says today has to be Christmas to you. Roman is on Smackdown and Seth says he stays on Raw. Now, Roman doesn't have to run from him any more. You don't have to waste all that energy pulling strings to make sure he doesn't get a title match. You can use that energy to make sure the Bloodline doesn't go poof in your face.
Seth asks Paul if he likes a good spoiler. Seth says at Night of Champions he is going to win the World Championship. Then the world will see what a real champion looks like.
Paul is on the phone and Seth gets the crowd to hum along to make it hard for Paul to hear the call.
Paul yells at the people since he cannot hear Roman and they get louder.
Paul tells Seth that he is pissing off Roman and Seth says if Roman is upset with him now, wait until this. Seth asks how long would it take to get Paul flat on the mat so he can stomp Paul's head into the canvas? Five seconds? Four seconds? Three seconds? Two seconds?
Solo Sikoa's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Paul says he has a spoiler and all strings are being pulled, but the time we get back from commercial, it will be official that Seth Rollins faces Solo Sikoa.
Seth says we don't have to wait to make it official. Seth says they are on and he cackles.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see Cody Rhodes arriving at the arena and Adam Pearce begs Cody not to let things devolve into chaos.
We see the Raw door and the Smackdown door and the Raw one has a red light tube over the door while the Smackdown one has a blue light tube.
We see the NXT roster in Orlando.
Match Number One: Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez versus Dakota Kai and Bayley in a Non Title Match
Dakota and Raquel start things off but Liv decides to start the match. They lock up and Liv with a rollup for a near fall. Dakota with a rollup for a near fall. Liv misses an enzuigiri and Kai with a waist lock. Liv with a rollup for a near fall. Liv with a drop kick and Dakota sends Liv into the ropes. Bayley tags in and she slams Liv. Liv misses an elbow drop and Raquel tags in. Bayley escapes a slam attempt and she slaps Bayley but Raquel runs Bayley into the corner. Liv tags in and Raquel tosses Liv into Bayley and Liv sends Raquel into the corner with a head scissors for a shoulder. Liv with a knee into the corner. Dakota distract the referee and Bayley rakes the eyes and sends Liv to the floor. Dakota with a kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dakota with a running boot in the corner for a near fall. Dakota kicks Liv in the corner. Liv with a boot to Dakota and she knocks Bayley off the apron. Liv leaps over Dakota but Dakota stops Liv from making the tag. Dakota with a forearm and Liv grabs Dakota but Dakota with a kick. Raquel tags in and she clotheslines Dakota a few times. Raquel with another clothesline followed by a fallaway slam. Raquel splashes Bayley when Bayley pushes Dakota out of the way. Raquel with a fallaway slam to Dakota and a twisting Vader Bomb elbow for a near fall. Liv tags in and gets on Raquel's shoulders but Bayley trips Raquel and Liv lands on Dakota's knees. Dakota with KAIropractor for a near fall.
Raquel sends Bayley to the apron and Bayley holds Raquel who is hit by Dakota with a knee. Liv with a facebuster and Bayley tags in. Liv hits ObLIVion on Dakota but Bayley with a sunset flip for the three count.
Winners: Dakota Kai and Bayley
Booker T leaves the Raw room and he spins in the hallway. Sharmell emerges from the Smackdown room.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see Cowboy Brock walking in the back and Adam Pearce asks him to keep things peaceful.
Brock tells Adam good luck with that.
We take a look at what led to the match between Brock and Cody.
It is time for the second round of picks for the WWE Draft and Booker T comes out for Raw while Sharmell T comes out for Smackdown.
1. Raw selects WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
2. Smackdown selects The Usos.
3. Raw selects THE Judgment Day.
4. Smackdown selects The LWO
Match Number Two: Braun Strowman and Ricochet versus Otis and Chad Gable (with Maxxine Dupri)
Chad and Ricochet start things off and Ricochet with a wrist lock and Gable with an escape and leg sweep. Ricochet with a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Chad with a chop and Ricochet with a handstand head scissors and drop kick. Gable with a waist lock and Gable with a German suplex but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet goes to the apron and connects with a kick and then he springboard over Gable. Gable with Chaos Theory. Otis and Braun tag in and Otis pushes Braun and Otis with punches and a splash into the corner. Braun with a clothesline to Otis in the corner and then he runs through a clothesline and hits a cross body. Braun gets Otis up for a slam.
Ricochet tags in and he gets on Braun's shoulders for a swanton and the three count.
Winners: Ricochet and Braun Strowman
Shawn Michaels comes out of the Raw room. Adam Pearce emerges from the Smackdown room.
