Former WCW star Buff Bagwell is in attendance tonight in Los Angeles.
Next up is the WWE Raw Women's Championship, Bianca Belair defending against Asuka. If this was anyone else, I'd be worried about them following the IC title bout. Not these women!
Asuka got a nice entrance with lots of masked women dressed as her before Asuka was revealed with a new mask and facepaint.
Bianca got a great entrance with a young dance troupe styles to look like her doing a fun routine. Great stuff! They followed her down part of the ramp. Really cool stuff.
Good, solid wrestling early on. Really fun back and forth with some nice near falls. Asuka caught her out of nowhere with a submission. Bianca tried to escape but was caught again in an Asuka Lock. Belair went to the floor to escape. Asuka and Belair scrapped on the floor until Belair nailed a powerbomb on the floor. Ouch. Asuka made a comeback and they ended up battling outside on the apron. Bianca went her into the ring post. Good stuff thus far.
They battled back into the ring and battered each other with forearms. Fun stuff. Asuka kneed her but Bianca rebounded with a big tackle. They fought to the top where Asuka fought her way off Bianca's shoulders. Bianca's hair was her downfall here as Asuka used it to pull her off the ropes and then pulled her into a Codebreaker with it for a close two count. Bianca made a comeback and went for the KOD but Asuka escaped and grabbed the Asuka Lock. LA went nuts and loved this.
Bianca fought and turned it over, then powerlifted Asuka up, nailed the KOD and scored the pin.
This was really damn good and I hope we get to see rematches. Bianca may be the best pure athlete WWE has ever hired and Asuka is just tremendous. It was really nice to see her have this opportunity.
The Miz and Snoop Dogg came out and announced 81,395 people in attendance. 161,892 total for the two night they stated. Miz took issue with Snood Dogg putting him into a match last night. Snoop asked him if he wanted to do it again. Miz said no but the entire stadium said yes. Miz said what Snoop did was disrespectful and said he doesn't go to his studio to show him how to rap. Miz said it was his city and his Wrestlemania. Snoop said it was his city and his Mania...and introduced SHANE MCMAHON.
This would be Shane's first appearance since Royal Rumble 2022. Let's hope this goes way better. Shane thanked everyone for the big reception he received,. Snoop made it an official match. Miz protested. Snoop didn't care. Shane began jabbing away and went for a leapfrog but his knee went out and it appears he twisted his knee and couldn't get back up. Miz was waiting to figure out how to play this, so Snoop hit the ring and decked Miz. GREAT save. Snoop began cutting a promo and drilled Miz again, "KOing" him. He nailed the Puppy's Elbow (I guess?!) and pinned Miz. Snoop did his best to save this.
Poor Shane. This was a worst case scenario for his return and you have to feel for the guy, especially since he was supposed to be a big surprise.
