We are back with a video package for Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin.
Meiko Satomura is in the locker room preparing for her match against Roxanne Perez.
It is time for the Grayson Waller Effect.
He welcomes everyone to the most important Grayson Waller Effect of all time. He brings out his guest Shawn Michaels.
Waller says 10 year old Grayson would be freaking out now like these fans, but present day Grayson would tell that kid, one day you are going to be so disappointed because Shawn Michaels isn’t who he is. Don’t be a Shawn guy, be a Bret guy.
Shawn asks if we are taking the gloves off early. Shawn says Grayson used to be cool. He would ask for advice. Now you hate him.
Waller says since he won the Iron Survivor Challenge, he was going to take over. He says he is the best on the mic and the best in the ring. Waller says he doesn’t care who he pisses off or who likes him. Shawn is treating him the same way Vince treated you. He held you back because you weren’t big enough or a draw.
Now you are Vince and Waller says he doesn’t know why he is doing it. Is it because I don’t kiss your ass like everyone else? Is it because I won’t pose for the photo in the back. Waller says Shawn is holding him back.
Shawn says he has let him loose. Shawn says that Waller lost at Vengeance Day because you wanted a decisive winner. You took your shot and missed. You are made and angry and you want to blame someone. The guy you need to look at is the guy in the mirror.
Waller tells Shawn to do the same and Shawn needs to know that he is in his position because his friend had a heart attack.
Shawn says he wasn’t in charge here and he stepped in because his friend needed him after everything Hunter did for him. Hunter was in charge but HBK is running the ship now.
Waller says Shawn is steering this ship into an iceberg. Waller says he would not be surprised if his name was on a cut list. Waller says he is a star. Without him, NXT is nothing.
Shawn says Waller thinks he is bigger than the brand. NXT has never been about one person, it is a brand. Shawn mentions who the brand was built on. Bron and Roxanne are the champions now, but it is about more than them. He says Waller is just a part of it.
Waller is excited that Shawn mentioned him and he says no one does a better job of hyping up a crowd like Shawn. You have everyone fooled and I see right through you. When did you start playing ‘Captain Team Player’?
Shawn says during his career it was all about him, but it changed when he walked into NXT. The vibe was different. Shawn says he knew this place is special.
Waller asks who is getting to Raw or Smackdown? Waller says he is sick of NXT. He is sick of everyone who wants to be a superstar but they do nothing about it. This crowd is the same every week. Waller says he is sick of having a boss who has the biggest box office star in front of him.
Shawn tells Waller that is enough. If you want to run him down, go ahead. People who are a lot better than you have been doing it for 40 years. Do not run this brand into the ground.
Waller asks Shawn if it pisses him off and he tells Shawn to do something about it. Waller challenges Shawn to a match at Stand and Deliver. He tells him to take off the stooge suit and tune up the band one last time.
Shawn takes off his jacket and he tells Waller for over a decade he had the greatest in the world challenging for a Wrestlemania dream match. You think you are something special? Shawn says they have been backing the Brinks truck to my door so often the drivers know his address. Shawn says it has happened before and it will happen again. There is nothing that would thrill him more than to whip his ass at Stand and Deliver. The reality is there is someone who wants to do it more than me. He bleeds NXT more than me. You are going to get your wish for a match at Stand and Deliver. Your opponent won’t be me, it will be this man . . .
