AEW Tag Team Championship: The Gunn Club vs. The Acclaimed w/Billy Gunn vs. Danhausen & Orange Cassidy vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal w/Sonjay Dutt & Satnum Singh
Jarrett and Cassidy kick us off. Jarrett with a strut. Cassidy with a lazy strut. Hands in his pockets, Cassidy with a dropkick and backdrops everyone. Danhausen with 4-5 clotheslines to Lethal in his corner (all 8 guys are fighting and this is moving fast). Looks like Danhausen and Colton are the legal men. Danhausen evades a clothesline and tags om Cassidy, who sends the Gunns out of ring. Lethal tag himself in and nails a Lethal Combination. Stundog by Cassidy. Caster tags in. Dutt tries to interfere but the Acclaimed with a leg scissoring off the top rope.
Jarrett chokes Bowens in his corner. Bowens got his clock cleaned by the Gunns. Lethal tags in but Colton Gunns tags Lethal out. Double clothesline by the Gunns for 2. The Gunns and Lethal/Jarrett work together to subdue Bowens. Caster gets the tag and clotheslines the heel teams. Angle slam by Caster to Lethal for 2. Caster blocks the stroke but gets kicked by Jarrett. Dutt ans Singh get involved. Low blows galore. Billy Gun nails a famouser to Singh. Billy gets double low blowed by his sons.
The Acclaimed come oh so close as a Mic Drop gets a 2 on Austin. My feed dies.
When it comes back. Danhausen eats a 3:10 to Yuma and the Gunns score the pin.
WINNERS & STILL AEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE GUNNS
Renee Paquette comes to the ring to interview The Gunns. FTR comes out to challenge them. FTR hits the ring and a brawl breaks out. FTR with a spike piledriver. Shatter machine by FTR. Something happened to Dax because he's bleeding from the eye.
A string band plays MJF to the ring.
AEW World Championship Iron Man match: MJF vs. Bryan Danielson
Both men stare each other down, no rush. Danielson tries to bait him in. Lockup, MJF shoves him down. Lockup, hammerlock exchanges. Danielson with a leglock into a surfboard. MJF escapes and shoulder blocks and hiptosses Danielson. Now we have a series of lockups and escapes. Action picks up fast and they trade armdrags. MJF separates himself to calm things down. MJF offers a handshake but Danielson kicks the hand away. MJF bails and throws water on a kid in the front row. Danielson chases MJF but MJF sprints back in the ring. Full nelson by MJF, Danielson slips out and applies one of his own. Danielson sets up another surf board but instead stomps down on the leg. Chops by Danielson, he throws kicks in the corner. As Danielson approaches, Danielson gets thrown into the buckle. Big backdrop by the champion, followed by another.
Inside cradle for 2 by Danielson. Backdrop by Danielson. MJF to the apron. As Danielson approaches, he gets clotheslined on the top rope. MJF scores a 2 count. AEW has chosen to present this match without showing the clock.
Dropkick on the floor by Danielson. Danielson with a tope but Danielson rams his shoulder into the post. Hammerlock DDT by MJF for 2. Wristlock by Danielson into a high armdrag for 2. Hammerlock takedown for 2.
MJF works the shoulder on the rope. Danielson with head butts. Big powerbomb off the ropes by Danielson. Kicks by Danielson and he nails a trio of running dropkicks in the corner. Hurancanrana by Danielson for 2.
Back elbow by MJF. The champion stomps on the elbow. Deep armbar by MJF he nails a powerbomb back breaker for 2.. Danielson tries the Lebell Lock. MJF kicks him over the top rope. MJF buckles his knee as he tries a moonsault. Tope hit by Danielson. Chop by Danielson. He throws MJF back in and tries a cross body. MJF catches him with a salt of the earth and a low One Winged Angel for 2 (Danielson was in a front bearhug position). Running clothesline by Danielson.
37:30 remains as they try a series of pinfall attempts. Not even going to try and describe them all. A double clothesline sends both men to the mat. Busaiku knee by Danielson and he scores the first fall.
Danielson: 1 MJF: 0
MJF collapses as Danielson tries a Busaiku. Low blow by MJF, he is disqualified.
Danielson: 2 MJF: 0
MJF scores 2 quick pins after the low blows.
Danielson: 2 MJF: 2
Shotgun dropkick by Danielson. Action spills to the floor and Danielson chops away. Clothesline by MJF as Danielson tried a charge. Danielson nails a clothesline of his own as we hit the 30:00 mark.
Danielson slams MJFs leg into the post. Punches by Danielson. Danielson drops a knee on MJF and applies a Figure 4. MJF screams that he hates Danielson as he tries to slap his way out. MJF makes the ropes. They fight on the apron and trade kicks. MJF climbs the buckles, Danielson follows him but gets knocked off. MJF sends Danielson into the post and sets the challenger up on the ringside table. Elbow drop off the top rope through said table sends Danielson crashing through it. Doc Sampson checks on Danielson as the ref counts. He makes it in at 9. Back on the floor, MJF hits a running tombstone through the remnants of the table. Danielson is bleeding. Heatseeker piledriver and MJF scores the pin.
MJF:3 Danielson: 2
MJF takes a water break and resumes the ground and pound. He stomps the challengers hand and kicks Danielson in the head. Vicious crossfaces by MJF and he yells at Danielson's children through the camera. MJF keeps declaring himself the best in the world. He fires a snot rocket on Danielson and tells him to hit him. Danielson does but goes down immediately after an MJF clothes line. Danielson rolls to the floor. MJF follows but gets thrown into the post. Running knee by Danielson. He nails a double knee off the top rope to the floor.
Danielson rolls him back in. MJF stops his climb to the top. Danielson crotches MJF in the corner. He connects with a superplex, staying attached to the corner. Diving headbutt by Danielson off the top. MJF is busted open badly as Danielson scores a 2. MJF is bleeding a gusher. Busaiku Knee into a LeBell Lock, MJF taps.
MJF 3 Danielson 3
10 minutes remain.
That was a Regal Stretch MJF tapped to, not the LeBell Lock. Danielson applies a LeBell Lock right in the center, MJF rolls him up for 2 and applies Salt of the Earth in the middle. MJF is stretching the heck out of him but Danielson makes the ropes. They trade punches while on their knees. They continue to trade and both drop to their knees. They strike with urgency as we have 5 minutes left. Head kick by Danielson, Clothesline by MJF. MJF wrenches the arm and nails a heat seeker for 2. Danielson with anvil elbows but MJF with a tombstone off the 2nd rope. MJF came down HARD on his knee. He can't score the falls as he's writhing in pain.
Out of nowhere, Danielson cinches in a single leg crab. He has it deep and pulls MJF back to the center. MJF holds on until the bell finally rings.
60:00 elapsed. We have a draw.
WAIT! Tony Schiavone gets a phone call at the booth. He goes to the ring and informs San Francisco and the referee that Tony Kahn has ordered sudden death.
Rollup by Danielson for 2. Low blow and rollup by MJF for 2 (ref didn't see the low blow). MJF grabs the belt. The ref reminds him that a DQ results in a title change. MJF drops the belt and gets hit with a reverse rana and Busaiku for 2. Single leg crab by Danielson. MJF taps as soon as he makes the ropes. Danielson thinks he won. MJF nails Danielson with the Oxygen tank that was administered after 60:00. MJF with the LeBell Lock. Shockingly, Danieslon survives only to eventually have to tap out.
