GCW “RANSOM” LIVE COVERAGE 3/5/23 The Showboat in Atlantic City, NJ
Scramble Match: Gringo Loco vs. Alec Price vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Yoya vs. Gabriel Skye vs. Carlos Romo
The match begins with everybody missing a bunch of moves that they are attempting, Lloyd and Skye send a bunch of people out of the ring. Skye hits Lloyd with a rana followed by a drop kick, Price returns and he drops Skye before landing a standing moonsault. Loco returns and he drops Price before landinga pop up cutter, Romo returns and he hits Loco with a drop kick. Yoya returns and Romo drops him with a leg lariat before kicking him in the back, Yoya gets up before taking Loco down with a rana on the arena floor. Romo then takes everybody else out with a suicide dive, Skye returns and he takes a bunch of people out with a moonsault to the arena floor. Skye gets in the ring and he hits Yoya with a middle rope meteora for a near fall, Loco returns to the ring and he has a striking exchange with Skye. Loco then hits Skye with a suplex before landing a top rope splash for a near fall, Loco returns to the ropes and Yoya returns to meet him up there. Yoya gets Loco down with a top rope rana before Romo lands a moonsault on Loco, everybody hits the ring and they all take each other out.
Lloyd then hits Skye with a tombstone piledriver before Yoya nails him with a sliding lariat, Price returns and he nails Yoya with a modified neck breaker. Price climbs the ropes and Loco meets him up there, Loco takes Price down with a one man Spanish fly. Skye then hits Loco with a frog splash followed by a release northern lights suplex, Lloyd then hits Skye with a piledriver before eating a cutter from Romo. Loco is back and he meets Romo on the ropes before eating a super poison rana, Price then hits Romo with a knee strike followed by a pump kick. Romo avoids a charging Price and Price takes people out with a suicide dive, Price returns and he hits Romo with a blockbuster. Price then hits Skye with a destroyer followed by a head kick for a three count.

Shane Mercer vs. Mike Bailey
The match begins with some chain wrestling between Mercer and Bailey, Mercer trips up Bailey and Bailey gets him in a headlock when they get back up. Mercer gets free and he drops bailey with a shoulder block, Mercer gets Bailey up and Bailey gets free before missing a head kick. Bailey goes after the arm of Mercer and Mercer does the same to him, Bailey gets Mercer down with an arm drag. Mercer quickly recovers and he goes back to work on the arm of Bailey, Bailey gets Mercer down again with an arm drag and Mercer stays on his arm anyways. Bailey gets free and he gets into a striking exchange with Mercer, Bailey ends the exchange by dropping Mercer with a drop kick. Mercer recovers and he knocks Bailey out of the ring with a drop kick, Bailey avoids a diving Mercer before knocking him to the arena floor. Mercer gets back to the ring apron and Bailey kicks him to the arena floor, Mercer catches a leaping Bailey and he drops him face first on the hardest part of the ring. Mercer gets Bailey in the ring and Bailey immediately exits the ring, Bailey traps Mercer in the ropes before attacking his leg.
Bailey follows up by landing a top rope missile drop kick to the leg of Mercer, Bailey then hits Mercer with a running drop kick to the knee. Bailey keeps Mercer down while continuing to attack his injured leg, Bailey keeps Mercer grounded while getting Mercer in a figure four ankle lock. Mercer eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Mercer gets up and he has another striking exchange with Bailey. Mercer ends the exchange by hitting Bailey with an overhead release suplex, Mercer then drops Bailey multiple times with multiple clotheslines. Mercer takes Bailey down before getting him in an arm triangle choke, Bailey gets free and Mercer looks for a suplex. Bailey tries getting free and he eventually does before landing multiple kicks on Mercer, Bailey goes for a spinning standing shooting star press and Mercer avoids it before landing a suplex throw. Bailey gets up and he has another striking exchange with Mercer, Bailey attacks the injured leg of Mercer by landing multiple leg kicks. Mercer recovers and he drops Bailey with a clothesline from behind, Bailey escapes the grasp of Mercer and he nails Mercer with a moonsault after Mercer goes to the arena floor. Bailey drops Mercer on the ring apron before landing a moonsault double knee strike, Bailey gets Mercer back in the ring before climbing the ropes.
Mercer meets Bailey on the ropes and Bailey gets free from him, Bailey hangs up Mercer in the corner before landing a top rope knee drop. Bailey then hits Mercer with a penalty kick followed by a moonsault double knee drop, Mercer avoids a leaping Bailey before landing a pop up power slam for a near fall. Mercer follows up by dropping Bailey again with a lariat, Mercer gets Bailey on the top rope and he follows him up there. Mercer then hits Bailey with Moonsault & Battery while injuring his knee in the process, Bailey gets up and he nails Mercer with a series of head kicks followed by a tornado kick. Bailey then hits Mercer with the Ultimate Weapon for a three count.
Winner: Mike Bailey
GCW World Tag Team Championships: Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo) (c) vs. The Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)
The match begins with a brawl between both teams and it quickly spills all over the arena, Shelley grabs Ciclope and he sends him into the wall. Ciclope recovers and he also sends Shelley into the wall, Sabin and Extremo exchange strikes at the ringside area. Sabin grabs Extremo and he sends him right into the ring post, both teams take their battle back into the ring. Shelley and Sabin land double corner clotheslines on their opponents, Sabin accidentally hits Shelley before Extremo and Sabin remain in the ring. Extremo hits a cornered Sabin with a knee strike before Ciclope lands a spine buster, Extremo then drops Ciclope on top of a downed Sabin. Ciclope then hits Sabin with a knee strike for a near fall, Shelley returns and he knocks Extremo out of the ring. Shelley then hits Ciclope with an enziguri followed by a dragon screw leg whip, Shelley and Sabin work together to double team both opponents. Shelley and Sabin get their opponents into submissions holds until Ciclope breaks it all up, Sabin and Shelley get their foes back into submissions before Sabin rolls up Ciclope for a near fall.
Ciclope gets Sabin into a sharp shooter and Shelley breaks it all up, Extremo returns and he gets Shelley into a Romero special until Sabin breaks it up. Both teams have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Sabin and Shelley land super kicks on both opponents to end the exchange. Extremo clears the ring before landing a suicide dive onto both opponents, Extremo finds a door and he sets it up in the corner of the ring. Sabin and Shelley return to the ring and they double team Extremo, Ciclope returns and Sabin hits him with a cutter. Sabin accidentally kicks Shelley in the face before getting double teams by Extremo and Ciclope, Shelley returns and he breaks up a Doomsday Device attempt. Sabin then sends Ciclope through the door, Sabin and Shelley hit Ciclope with their finisher for a three count.
