Match Number Five: WWE Undisputed Championship Match: Roman Reigns versus Sami Zayn
Roman and Sami stand motionless as they wait for the other to make the first move. Roman is the first to move and Sami goes to the opposite side of the ring. Roman starts to circle Sami and they finally lock up after four plus minutes. Roman with a side head lock. Roman with a shoulder tackle. Zayn with a side head lock. Roman with a back elbow. They lock up and Roman with a side head lock. Sami sends Roman over the top rope to the floor. Sami with a flip dive onto Roman. They return to the ring and Sami sends Roman into the turnbuckles and then Sami punches Roman on the turnbuckles. Sami goes to the turnbuckles and he hits an elbow to the top of the head and he gets a near fall.
Sami sends Roman into the turnbuckles and he goes to the turnbuckles but Roman with an uppercut when Sami comes off. Roman sends Sami to the floor. Roman sends Sami into the ringside barrier and then he hits a Drive By. Roman sends Sami back into the ring. Sami with a chop and Roman laughs it off. Roman with an uppercut and Sami goes down. Roman addresses the crowd as he circles the ring. Sami with chops and Roman with an uppercut. Roman has some words for Sami's wife about how he wanted her to be part of his family. Roman with clotheslines in the corner. Roman sends Sami to the floor in front of his family.
Roman tells Sami's wife it is Sami's fault. Roman sends Sami to the floor and Roman continues to talk to Sami's wife. Roman with a head butt. Roman pie faces Sami. Roman sends Sami back into the ring. Sami with punches but Roman punches back. Sami leap frogs over Roman and hits a clothesline. Sami with punches. Sami with a flying clothesline and a clothesline that sends Roman over the top rope to the floor. Sami punches Roman in front of his family. Sami goes up top and Roman with an uppercut to stop him. Roman with a forearm and he sets for a superplex. Sami blocks it and he connects with forearms to the back. Sami with a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall.
Roman with elbows to block a Blue Thunder Bomb. Roman with a uranage for a near fall. Roman sets for the Superman punch and Sami catches Roman and hits an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami sets for the Helluva Kick and Roman with a Superman punch for a near fall. Roman looks around and sets for the spear. Sami leap frogs Roman and Roman hits the turnbuckles. Sami with a rollup for a near fall. Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami sets for his own Superman punch and connects followed by a Helluva Kick for a near fall. Sami sets for another Helluva Kick but Roman rolls to the floor. Sami goes to the floor and he goes for the tornado DDT through the ropes but Roman with an uppercut to stop Sami.
Roman goes for a spear through the ringside barrier but Sami moves and Roman goes through the barrier. They return to the ring and Sami avoids a Superman punch and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Sami picks up Roman and goes for another Blue Thunder Bomb but Roman blocks it. They back into the referee and he goes down. Sami with a Helluva Kick but the referee is down so he cannot make the count. Sami checks on the referee and he falls to the floor. Jimmy Uso with a super kick to Sami followed by a second one. Jimmy with one more super kick and he goes up top and hits a frog splash. Jimmy rolls Roman onto Sami and a new referee comes out and Sami kicks out.
Both men struggle to get back to their feet. Roman yells at Sami and Sami puncches Roman. Roman with a head butt. Roman pie faces Sami and Sami punches Roman. Roman misses a Superman punch and Sami with kicks to Roman in the corner. Roman goes to the floor. Sami with a Helluva Kick to knock Jimmy off the apron. Roman with a spear for a near fall. Roman tells Sami he was trying to help him and that Sami was nothing without him. Roman slaps Sami many times. Sami slaps back and Roman with a Superman punch that hits the referee when Sami moves. Roman with a Superman punch. Roman tells Paul to do something and he goes under the ring for a chair.
Roman takes the chair and Jey Uso stands between Roman and Sami. Roman asks Jey if he is helping Sami. Roman hands Jey the chair but Jey does not take it at first. Jey finally takes the chair and Roman turns his back on Jey. Jey looks like he is going to hit Roman and Roman and Paul wonder why Jey is taking so long. Roman takes the chair back and he pie faces Jey. Sami goes for a spear on Roman but Roman moves and Sami spears Jey. Roman hits Sami many times with a chair. Roman sets for the spear and hits it. The original referee recovers and makes the three count.
Winner: Roman Reigns (retains championship)
After the match, Roman tells Jimmy to take care of Sami.
Jimmy punches Sami.
Kevin Owens' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Kevin punches Jimmy and sends him into the ringside barrier.
Kevin gets in the ring and he takes Roman down and punches him. Kevin with a kick and stunner. Kevin kicks Jimmy and hits a stunner. Kevin goes to the floor and he hits a pop up power bomb through the announce table. Kevin grabs a chair and he brings it into the ring. Paul Heyman gets in the ring and he throws punch like punches at Kevin. Paul realizes he made a mistake and Owens drops the chair. Owens with a kick and stunner to Paul.
Sami gets up behind Kevin and Kevin sees Sami. Kevin moves out of the way to let Sami hit a Helluva kick on Roman.
Kevin and Sami look at each other and Kevin goes to the back.
