Drew Gulak is with McKenzie and she asks why was he on NXT last week.
Drew says he feels that he hasn’t been able to achieve his true potential. He says he thinks he knows how to get there. He came here to grind in the ring. If he sees potential in any of the NXT stars, especially if he can help.
Damon Kemp shows up and he says hello to Drew.
Damon says he will be back in the ring next week and Drew should watch when he schools Duke Hudson.

Match Number Five: NXT Men’s Championship Match: Bron Breakker versus Apollo Crews
They stare each other down before locking up. They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up and they go to another stalemate. Breakker wants a test of strength and Crews joins in. Crews with a monkey flip but they hold on to the knuckle lock. They return to a neutral position and Bron with a monkey flip. They both hold on and get back to their feet. Crews with a side head lock and then he lands on his feet when Bron goes for a hip toss. Crews with a hip toss and Bron lands on his feet.
Crews with a side head lock take down. Crews with another side head lock take down and Bron with a head scissors. Bron with a side head lock and Crews with a head scissors. They continue the cycle with side head locks and head scissors. Both get to their feet at the same time. Bron with a waist lock and Crews with a standing switch. They continue with standing switches as they back into the ropes. They lock up and Crews with a wrist lock and Bron blocks a hip toss. They continue to block hip tosses and go across the ring. Crews pushes Bron and Bron smiles. Crews with a drop kick. Crews with a standing moonsault for a near fall.
Bron goes to the floor and Crews with a moonsault off the apron onto Bron. Crews with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Crews with a side head lock. Bron with a side head lock and Bron with a Gator roll and he gets Crews up for a delayed vertical suplex. Bron with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Crews rolls to the floor. Bron with a flip dive onto Crews. Bron goes to the turnbuckles and is met with a jumping knee from Crews. Crews closes his eyes and the camera gets close up and his eyes open with more intensity. Crews punches Bron. Crews gets Bron up and hits a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Crews with a waist lock into a German suplex and he holds on and hits a second one. Crews finishes off the Three Rivers combination and he gets a near fall.
Crews sets for a power bomb but Bron with a double leg take down and a jackknife cover. Crews rolls through and hits three power bombs for a near fall. Crews goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Crews with a splash into the corner and he sends Bron into the turnbuckles but misses a splash and hits the ring post when Bron moves. Bron with flying shoulder tackles and he catches Crews on a leap frog and hits a power slam. Bron goes up top and hits a bulldog for a near fall. Bron grabs Crews and sets for a press slam but Crews counters with a DDT and both men are down.
Crews gets a near fall. Crews goes for a spinebuster but Bron escapes and he hits a spinebuster of his own for a near fall. The straps come down and he grabs Crews by the throat but Crew escapes. Crews presses Bron and hits a power slam for a near fall. Crews and Bron have words for each other and then Bron punches Crews. Crews punches back. They go back and forth. Crews with a forearm and chop. Bron tells Crews to hit him and they both throw punches. Bron with a clothesline but Crews stays on his feet. Crews with an enzuigiri and kick and Bron does not go down. Bron with a spear for the three count.
Winner: Bron Breakker (retains championship)
After the match, Bron celebrates but when he turns around Grayson Waller hits him with the rolling cutter. Waller picks up the title belt and poses.
