Your winner and still Champion, Josh Alexander!
A truly excellent back and forth in-ring contest that felt like a fight for the title. They really pushed the other and this felt like a competition as opposed to a performance. This was really something as they had a lot of time to let it all hang in the ring and was a fun, hard-hitting 40 minutes.
Kazarian took a long time to get up, then got in Alexander's face. He went to leave but turned back around. He finally offered his hand and embraced Alexander, then raised his hand. Kazarian exited.
Bully Ray came to the ring. He said that he just witnessed an incredible professional wrestling match. He said what we just saw is what professional wrestling is all about. He told Josh Alexander that he is the most credible World Champion out there right now. Ray challenged Josh to face him at Hard to Kill in January in Atlanta. Ray said that if Josh shakes his hand, that means Josh accepts. They shook on it.
As Josh left, Bully attacked him. He beat Alexander down with a chair as Josh's wife yelled at him to stop. Bully zip-tied him to the bottom rope and said, "I kept my word, didn't I? Let me ask you a question: why would you ever trust me?" He held up a chair to smash him, then threw it down to attack Josh's wife. He pulled her over the ropes as she screamed for him to let her go. Alexander freed himself but Bully shoved him down and told him that if he moved, he would piledrive Josh's wife on the concrete. He told Josh to hand him the World title belt. Josh handed him the belt and Bully raised it. He let Josh's wife go. Josh grabbed her and embraced her as Bully walked off, then grabbed a steel chair. He told Josh if he moves, his wife is going to "eat this" and said he won't miss from this range. Bully walked off with the belt as Josh consoled his wife.
It was a damn good angle to close the show.
