WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: IMPERIUM VERSUS BRAWLIN BRUTES, LIV HAS AN OPPONENT, SOLO IS THROWN INTO THE FIRE, AND MORE

Match Number Three: Ronda Rousey versus Lacey Evans versus Xia Li versus Sonya Deville versus Natalya in an Elimination Match to Determine the Number One Contender

Sonya with a chin lock on Ronda and Ronda goes for the arm bar but Lacey then Natalya go after Ronda. Natalya sends Lacey to the floor. Xia with a rollup on Natalya for a near fall. Natalya with a clothesline for a near fall. Natalya with a Sharpshooter on Xia but Lacey with a Women’s Right. Sonya with a sliding knee to stop Lacey from covering Natalya. Ronda pulls Sonya to the floor and sends her into the ringside barrier.

Ronda with an arm bar on Natalya and Natalya taps out.

Natalya Eliminated

Lacey with a neck breaker and she gets too cocky and Ronda with an arm bar. Xia with a knee to Ronda. Xia with a leg drop for a near fall. Xia gets Ronda on her shoulders and Ronda with an arm bar. Lacey with a rollup on Ronday. Ronda with an arm bar on Lacey and Sonya gets Xia to tap out while Lacey taps out.

Lacey Evans and Xia Li Eliminated

We see Liv watching from a suite.

Ronda with a take down and punches to Sonya. Ronda gets Sonya on her shoulders but Sonya blocks Piper’s Pit and applies a choke. Ronda leaps back and Sonya holds on to the submission. Ronda rolls to the floor and sends Sonya into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring and Ronda with Piper’s Pit and then she applies the ankle lock and Sonya taps out.

Winner: Ronda Rousey

After the match, Liv holds up her title belt in the popcorn adorned suite.

Jimmy tells Solo this is his big shot. Jey says they will be watching him.

Sami and Solo stare each other down. Solo thanks Sami for the help out there. Sami says Roman knows what he is talking about. Jey blows off Sami’s comments.

Jimmy says tonight is about Solo and making a statement for the Bloodline.

Sami says he wants Solo to know that anything he needs, they are all looking out for Solo.
Jey says Solo has to do it alone.
Solo says he has to do it alone and if he needs help, he will ask Sami.

Jey says they are all going out there.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ronda Rousey is walking and Shayna Baszler congratulates her on winning and she wishes Ronda luck against Liv.

Ronda says she can see that Shayna is bummed about losing and the best way to deal with that is revenge. Then they can break some bones.

Match Number Four: Mace, Mansoor, Angel Garza, and Humberto Carrillo (with Max Dupri and Maxxine Dupri) versus Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins (with B-Fab)

Mansoor and Adonis start things off and Adonis flips Mansoor and sends him into the corner and follows with a shoulder. Dawkins tags in and hits a twisting splash into the corner. Dolla tags in and he hits a splash into the corner. Ford with a clothesline to Mansoor. Everyone else goes to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Mansoor with a reverse chin lock on Adonis. We see a kick by Mace during the break. Mace tags in and they hit a double back elbow and then go Blue Steel. Mace with an elbow to the back of the head. Garza tags in and he hits a thrust kick. Humberto tags in and knocks Dolla off the apron. Humberto with a drop kick to Adonis after Adonis knocks Garza to the floor. Humberto with a suicide dive but he misses Adonis and hits Garza. Dawkins tags in and hits a shoulder tackle on Humberto. Dawkins with a back elbow to Mansoor followed by a twisting splash into the corner and an enzuigiri. Mace tags in and Dawkins with Silencer for a near fall. Garza is sent over the top rope to the floor. Adonis with a cannonball off the apron to Angel. Carrillo with an enzugiiri to Ford. Dawkins back drops Humberto over the top rope to the floor. Dawkins with a plancha. Dolla gets in the ring and he sets for a dive but Maxxine gets on the apron but B-Fab pulls Maxxine off the apron. Dolla kicks Max and Mace with a rollup for a near fall. Dolla catches Mansoor on a cross body and hits Mace. Adonis tags in and they hit Heavy Hitter for the three count.

Winners: Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Top Dolla, and Ashante Thee Adonis

We take a look at Braun Strowman.

We go to commercial.

Alpha Academy make their way to the ring and they have something to say.

Chad says Seattle are lucky to have them on tonight’s show. Chad says with the warm response, he knows that you miss them and he thanks them. Chad tells everyone to Shooooosh, please. He says they are here to ruin Braun’s big return to Smackdown, just like Braun ruined their chance to get a tag title match on Raw.

Chad says it was a match they had won, until Braun jumped them from behind. If Otis had seen Braun, he would have decimated that idiot and left him laying. Otis, much like himself, is a superior athlete. Chad says Seattle doesn’t know anything about superior athletes. That is because Seattle is the type of city that couldn’t hold on to their own professional basketball team.

Chad realizes his might have said the wrong thing.

Chad says he is going to use his genius to show how he turned Otis into the true monster . . .

Braun Strowman’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.

Chad tells Otis what he has to do as Braun gets in the ring.

Braun poses to the crowd and then he punches Otis and Chad goes to the apron. Braun with punches in the corner. Gable hits Braun from behind and Chad starts to run away but Braun stops him and connects with a boot. Otis with a splash to the back and punches. Otis with a splash in the corner. Otis runs into a shoulder and Braun clotheslines Chad. Braun with a power bomb to Chad and then he gives one to Otis.

Drew McIntyre is in the back and Kayla asks Drew how will it feel to get redemption on Solo Sikoa.

Drew says Clash at the Castle should have been the biggest moment of his life. He gave 21 years to this business and he should be Undisputed Champion. He is not champion for one reason . . . Solo Sikoa.

Drew tells Solo he is sure that the Head of the Table is proud of him, but actions have consequences. You are not going to like the consequences of your actions.
We go to commercial.

We are back and the four way tag match to determine the Usos next opponents that Braun ruined on Monday night will happen again next week.

Match Number Five: Drew McIntyre versus Solo Sikoa (with Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn)

Drew with punches and chops. Solo with a chop and forearms followed by punches. Drew with punches and chops. Solo with a kick and Drew with a clothesline. Drew with an Irish whip but Solo with a back elbow. Drew with a kick and Future Shock. Drew sets for the Claymore and Jey pulls Solo to safety.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drew kicks and chops Solo. Solo with an Irish whip and a Samoan drop for a near fall. Solo with kicks to Drew followed by punches. Solo chokes Drew in the ropes. Jey punches Drew while Jimmy distracts the referee. Solo with punches but Drew with chops. Solo with a knee and a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Solo with a running hip into the corner. Solo pie faces Drew and tells him he does not belong here.

Solo with an Irish whip and Drew with a clothesline out of the corner. Drew with another clothesline. Drew with a back elbow. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Drew with a neck breaker. Drew knocks Jey off the apron. Solo with a rollup for a near fall. Drew sends Solo over the top rope to the floor and then Drew punches Jimmy. Drew signals for a flip dive and Sami grabs the ankle. Drew pulls Sami to the apron and then biels him into the ring. Drew sets for a Claymore on Sami but Solo with a super kick for a near fall. Solo and Drew exchange punches.

The Usos pull the rope down and Drew goes over the top rope to the floor. Jimmy and Jey kick the Usos and the Street Profits attack the Usos. Sami goes after Ford and Dawkins. Ford with a cross body onto the Usos and Sami.

Back in the ring, Solo goes for a Samoan drop but Drew gets to his feet and hits a Claymore that sends Solo to the floor.

The feed goes to black and white as Karrion Kross applies the Kross Jacket.

Winner: Drew McIntyre (by disqualification)

After the match, Drew tries to get out of the hold but Kross holds on. Scarleet kneels over Kross while he holds on to the Kross Jacket.

We go to credits.
