WWE NXT HEATWAVE REPORT: THREE TITLE MATCHES, A LOT OF VISITORS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE POND, IF YOU WATCH NXT UK . . . SKIP THE LAST 2 MINUTES OF THE SHOW, AND MORE

Match Number One:  Giovanni Vinci versus Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) for the North American Championship

They lock up and Vinci sends Hayes to the mat and poses.  Vinci with a hammer lock into a side head lock.  Hayes trips Vinci when he leaps into a drop down.  Hayes with a side head lock.  Vinci with a shoulder tackle.  Vinci gets a near fall.  Vinci misses a punch and Hayes with a punch and side head lock.  Vinci with an Irish whip and Hayes tries to float over but Vinci catches him.  Hayes gets to his feet and hits a springboard clothesline for a near fall.  Hayes with a punch and kick followed by a pie face.  Vinci with a chop and a springboard cross body.  Vinci with chops as they go around the ring.  Hayes with punches and Vinci fires back.  They continue the exchange.  Both men with flying clotheslines and they go down.

Vinci with a drop kick.  Vinci gets a near fall and then he gives Hayes a knee to the back.  Vinci with a head lock.  Williams tries to trip Vinci and the distraction allows Hayes to take control.  Hayes with punches.  Hayes poses while on top of Vinci and Vinci pushes Hayes off.  Vinci with punches.  Hayes with a knee and kick to the head for a near fall.  Hayes with a front face lock.  Vinci gets to his feet and he tries to escape but Hayes holds on.  Hayes continues with the guillotine but Vinci escapes.  Vinci with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker.  Vinci catches Hayes on a springboard move and Vinci with a Finlay roll and moonsault for a near fall. 

Hayes with a rollup for a near fall.  Vinci swats a forearm away and Hayes kicks Vinci when he goes for a springboard move.  Hayes with a springboard leg drop for a near fall.   Hayes goes for a suplex but Vinci blocks it and Hayes lands on his feet and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Hayes with a super kick and he goes to the turnbuckles.  Vinci catches Hayes off the turnbuckles and hits a suplex for a near fall.  Vinci blocks a kick and Hayes floats over.  Vinci goes for a power bomb but Hayes blocks it and Hayes with a suplex into a TKO for a near fall.  

Vinci with a double jump cross body onto Williams and Hayes on the floor.  Vinci with a double jump moonsault for a near fall when Hayes gets his foot on the rope.  Vinci has some words with Williams and Hayes stops him.  Hayes misses a double sledge off the turnbuckles.  Vinci with a short arm clothesline and a power bomb onto Williams.  Vinci gets Williams up for  a power bomb and hits it.  Vinci kicks Hayes and Hayes with a rana for the three count.

WInner:  Carmelo Hayes (retains championship)

We see Mandy Rose and the rest of Toxic Attraction arrive at the building and leave their vehicle in the middle of the parking lot.  Mandy sees Bron Breakker and says he has an uphill battle.  Bron tells Mandy she does too.  Mandy says we will see who wins tonight.

Julius Creed is on Twitter and he says he watched the 8 man tag match and he will address what he saw on NXT this week.

Diamond Mine walks slowly into commercial.

We are back and Robert Stone mentions how Solo Sikoa beat Von Wagner and is on the shelf while Von is fine.  Stone mentions what Von can do and he can go straight to the NFL.  Von says doors are being opened.  He does not care if you are internet famous or popular with the media, you will not survive in his jungle.

Diamond Mine makes their way to the ring, but without Ivy Nile.

Julius says less than a year ago, they got the chance of a lifetime.  To learn from one of the greatest champions, Roderick Strong.  We jumped on that and we dedicated everything to winning the Dusty Cup and tag titles.  We did it for Diamond Mine.  He did it all for this.  Recently it was brought to his attention that someone is trying to bring down Diamond Mine.  He wants to use this time to call that person out.

Julius calls out Roderick.

Roderick wants to know why is he pointing the finger at him.  He started Diamond Mine because you have the potential.  You are tag team champions.  He says this with pride that The Creeds are one of the best tag teams in WWE.  He would run them against the Usos.  That is how much he believes in him.

Julius says that is great but they are not just the future.  He says they are the NOW.  He knows as soon as you get the chance, Roddy will stab him in the back.

Brutus wants to know if Julius is serious.  He says that he has Julius' back.

Roderick tells Julius to be careful what he says next.

Julius says what he does is calculated.  He will show Strong and we go to the video tape.

Julius says that he saw Tony tap on the mat.  The look that Tony gave you before you hit me with that knee.

Roderick says Tony is a scumbag and maybe he has a tic.  Strong says he does not know.  He tells Julius to just do it and lay all the cards on the table.  Since May, you have had something against me.  Now you are letting your imagination . . . 

Gallus attacks The Creeds and Damon Kemp but they don't go after Roderick.

Joe with a flying shoulder that sends Strong into the turnbuckles.  Wolfgang and Mark Coffey join in the attack on Strong.  

Diamond Mine is down in the ring, like in Apollo's vision and Gallus poses over Diamond Mine.

McKenzie is with Roxanne Perez and she asks Roxanne about her match against Cora.

Roxanne says this is the most nervous she has ever been going into a match.  She never thought she would stand across the ring from her best friend.  Cora wants this and she ended their friendship.  Cora made her bed and now she has to lay in it.

We go to commercial.  

We are back and Zoey Stark prepares for her match against Mandy Rose and Nikkita Lyons shows up to show support.

JD McDonagh is in the whirlpool.

Match Number Two:  Cora Jade versus Roxanne Perez

Perez with a take down and Jade goes to the floor.  Perez with a suicide dive and they return to the ring.  Perez hits another suicide dive when Jade goes back to the floor.  Perez gets a near fall.  Jade tries to block an Irish whip and she connects with forearms.  Jade sends Perez into the ropes and she connects with a back elbow to the back and gets a near fall.  Jade with elbows and a snap mare for a near fall.  Jade goes for a suplex but Perez lands on her feet.  Perez with an uppercut and a back body drop.  Perez with a drop kick to the side of the head.  Jade is sent over the top rope to the apron and Perez knocks Jade off the apron.  Jade with a forearm to stop a suicide dive.  Jade with a suplex on the floor.

Jade breaks the referee's count and connects with chops against the apron.  Jade with a springboard double stomp to the back for a near fall.  Perez with forearms and Jade fires back.  Jade with a suplex.  Jade gets a near fall.  Jade chokes Perez in the corner.  Jade chokes Perez in the ropes.  Jade with kicks to the back.  Jade with a forearm in the corner and she trips Perez to the mat and Jade with a knee in the corner.  Jade gets a near fall.  Jade goes for a running back elbow but misses and hits the ropes.  Perez with a double knee in the ropes.  Jade with a short arm clothesline after blockiing an abdominal stretch.  Jade gets a near fall.  Jade stretches Perez.

Perez gets back to her feet and Jade sends her back to the mat.  Perez with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Jade with a rollup for a near fall.  Perez gets a rollup for a near fall.  Jade with a jackknife cover but Perez bridges and goes for a back slide but Jade blocks it.  Both women with forearms and they are staggered.  Both go for boots to the head and they both go down.  Perez with forearms and Jade with a knee to the midsection.  Perez with a running forearm or two and she sends Jade into the turnbuckles.  Perez with a series of running uppercuts followed by a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall.  Perez gets another near fall.  Jade escapes Code Red and hits a running knee against the ropes.  Jade with a kick and she gets a near fall.  Jade gets her weapon from inside the ring steps and she swings and misses.

Perez hits Jade from behind and grabs the weapon.  The referee tells Perez she will be disqualified if she uses it and she throws it down to the mat.  Jade hits Perez from behind and hits a DDT onto the kendo stick for the three count.

Winner:  Cora Jade

McKenzie is in the back with Brooks, Josh, and Fallon.  

Josh says Pretty Deadly and Lash Legend got one over on them.

Gallus shows up and they have to be held back by security.  They want the NXT UK Tag Titles.  Joe says they will turns this place upside down.  Wolfgang says they are going to bring the tag titles back home.  It looks like we have a match coming up as they brawl and the camera shakes a lot.

We have a video package for the match between Santos Escobar and Tony D'Angelo.
