WWE RAW REPORT: THE TOURNAMENT CONTINUES, DREW HAS A MESSAGE FOR ROMAN, US TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2022-08-15 23:00:00

We are back with a look at the Wrestlemania Launch Party.

Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring.

Drew says it is a shock to see him on Raw since he is technically on Smackdown.  He says it might be more shocking to see the other guy on Raw but that could change in three weeks.  At Clash at the Castle, he faces Roman Reigns.  This isn't taking place on some fictional island of relevancy, it is happening on his island.  He will win the titles and he will show up on Raw, Smackdown, and live events where the titles should be and it is what the fans deserve.

Drew says the reports of a back injury are true.  It is because he has been carrying the load of 20 men for three years inside and outside the ring.  He says this is a privilege.  This isn't a job, it is his dream.  Drew says he is here on his day off to scout future matches.  What about facing Ciampa?  What about facing AJ Styles?  What about Seth Rollins?  What about Karrion Kross?

Kevin Owens' music interrupts and he makes his way to the stage.

Drew says he likes the idea of facing Kevin Owens.

Kevin says it is so convenient you said his name after he came out.  As big and strong and good as you are, why do you continue to come out and pretend you aren't who you are.  You talk with this loud voice and you have a sword or a kilt.  Is this Medieval Times?  You are delusional to think you are carrying things.  Kevin says he is the same person his entire 22 year career.  Kevin says he is as real as it gets in this business.  Over the last few years, you may have forgotten what I am about.  I have been having a good time coming to work, but something dawned on me when I got to this arena.  I got goosebumps because this is the same arena him and Sami Zayn had the fight of our lives.  People still talk about that match six years later.

There is a side of him that has been missing for far too long.  Kevin says he misses the old Kevin Owens.  It is time to bring back the Prize Fighter.  I haven't held a title in WWE for five years and enough is enough and it is time for a change.  I am coming after every title.  I don't give a damn if it is you or Roman because whoever comes out of Cardiff as champion, I am coming after that title.

Drew says he will let Kevin says his peace and he says he will have to respond.  Drew says he is sick of people making stuff up to get a cheap reaction.  I know who I am.  Drew says someone called him the Chosen One, but that was 15 years ago and I got fired.  I worked my ass off and WWE called me.  I beat everyone who stood in my path.  Don't look me in the eye and pull that BS again.  It is time for Owens and McIntyre to stop fighting.  We are wrestlers in a wrestling ring so let's wrestle.

Kevin says Drew is no prize but he is on.
