THE CARDONAS RENEW THEIR VOWS AND MORE: COMPLETE 8/14 GCW HOMECOMING PART 2 COVERAGE FROM ATLANTIC CITY, NJ

Bussy (Effy & Allie Katch) vs. Everett Connors & Charli Evans 

The match begins with Evans and Effy exchanging a bunch of strikes, Evans ends the exchange by hitting Effy with a release German suplex. Effy sets up for a TKO and Evans gets out of the way, Connors tags in and he nails Effy with a plethora of strikes. Effy tricks Connors and he stomps away on him before applying a camel clutch, Effy transitions to a headlock on Connors before tagging Katch in. Effy and Katch double team Connors for a near fall, Connors fights back and he nails Katch with a drop kick. Evans tags in and Katch tries to kiss her for a short time, Evans starts working over the arm of Katch and Katch tries kissing her again. Connors gets angry and Katch winds up kissing him by accident, Evans drops Katch with a super kick for a near fall. Evans gets angry and she nails a downed Katch with a ton of strikes, Evans then nails Katch with a kick to the back for a near fall. Connors tags in and he drops Katch before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall, Katch fights back and she nails Connors with a seated senton.  

Effy tags in and he immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Effy then hits Connors with Under The Rainbow for a near fall. Effy then nails Connors with a suplex, Effy looks for a power bomb and Connors manages to counter with a double stomp. Evans and Katch are tagged in by their respective partners, Evans does her best to attack both of her opponents. Evans rolls up Katch before landing a knee strike and fisherman suplex for a near fall, Katch fights back and she nails Evans with an enziguri. Effy and Connors are tagged back in and Effy blocks a kiss from Connors, Katch and Evans catch their respective foes in roll ups before Katch kisses Evans. Connors breaks it all up before landing double super kicks with Evans on their partners, Bussy then hits both foes with a Two Man Power Trip for a near fall. Effy gets Connors in a dragon sleeper while Katch gets Evans in a Boston crab, Evans knocks Katch into Effy to break everything up. Connors and Evans double team Effy for a near fall, Katch knocks Evans to the arena floor before helping Effy hit Connors with a super Sack Ryder for a near fall. Evans attacks both foes before landing a double clothesline, Charles Mason hits the ring and he attacks Evans.  

The ref tries intervening and Mason quickly takes him out, Mason goes after Effy and Effy hits him with a Sack Ryder. Katch then hits Mason with a Pussy Piledriver before Connors nails him with a top rope double stomp, everybody pins Mason and the ref makes a three count for some reason. 

Winners: Bussy (Effy & Allie Katch), Everett Connors & Charli Evans 

GCW Extreme Championship: Rina Yamashita (C) vs. Sawyer Wreck 

The match begins with Wreck mocking Yamashita because she has the height advantage, Yamashita cracks Wreck with a forearm strike. Yamashita goes for shoulder tackles and Wreck winds up dropping her with one of her own, Yamashita manages to slam Wreck for a quick pin attempt. Yamashita gets a light tube and Wreck steals it from her before smashing it on her head, Yamashita fights back and she breaks multiple light tubes on Wreck’s head. Yamashita breaks another light tube on Wreck’s head before stabbing her head with a broken piece of the light tube, Yamashita then drops Wreck with a snap mare before breaking a light tube on her back for a near fall. Yamashita grabs a gusset plate and she stabs Wreck’s shoulder with it, Yamashita then stabs herself in the head with a gusset plate before trading headbutts with Wreck. Wreck eventually drops a charging Yamashita with a clothesline, Wreck traps Yamashita in the corner while landing multiple face washes. Yamashita fights back and she trades strikes with Wreck. Wreck sends a charging Yamashita out of the ring before sitting her on a chair that a fan was sitting on, Wreck then takes a seated Yamashita out with a cannonball. 

Wreck gets Yamashita up and she sends her into the ring post, Yamashita picks up Wreck and she slams her on the arena floor. Yamashita grabs a fan and the fan winds up suplexing her on top of a downed Wreck, Yamashita gets up and she slaps the fan. Yamashita grabs a bunch of weapons and she places them under the barbed wire board, Yamashita meets Wreck on the ring apron and they trade a bunch of strikes. Wreck picks up Yamashita and she hits her with a death valley driver through the barbed wire board on the arena floor, a bunch of people eventually free Yamashita from the barbed wire. Wreck grabs a light tube and she hits Yamashita with it before getting her back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Wreck sets up for a piledriver and Yamashita blocks it before landing a DDT. Wreck recovers and she nails Yamashita with a big boot followed by multiple light tube shots for a near fall, Wreck gets Yamashita up and Yamashita nails her with a death valley driver onto light tubes for a near fall. Yamashita places a barbed wire chair onto Wreck before going to the top rope, Yamashita nails Wreck with a top rope splash for a near fall. 

Yamashita gets Wreck up the ropes before taking her off, Yamashita hits Wreck with a sit out power bomb onto light tubes and a barbed wire chair for a three count. 

Winner: Rina Yamashita, still your GCW Ultraviolent Champion 

Pane Of Glass & Light Tubes Deathmatch: Alex Colon & John Wayne Murdoch vs. Los Macizos (Miedo Extremo & Ciclope) 

The match begins with everybody grabbing light tubes and they all break them on each other, Los Macizos send their opponents to the arena floor before landing multiple suicide dives. Colon battles Extremo and they immediately battle in the crowd, Murdoch and Colon nail their opponents with multiple clotheslines. Los Macizos fight back and they suplex both of their opponents on chairs, Ciclope then sends Colon face first into some light tubes. Ciclope grabs some broken glass and he stabs Murdoch in the head with it, Extremo grabs a door and he sets a table on it. Extremo grabs another chair and he cracks it on the head of Murdoch, Ciclope also hits Colon with a chair shot before eating one from Murdock. Colon gets Ciclope back in the ring before dropping him with a clothesline for a near fall, Colon grabs a light tube and Ciclope steals it before clotheslining him with it. Ciclope returns and he nails Colon with a falcon arrow for a near fall, Colon grabs a light tube and he hits Extremo with it. Colon then hits Extremo with a tornado DDT for a near fall, Murdoch tags in and he gets a near fall on Extremo.  

Murdoch misses a drop kick and Extremo hits him with a springboard moonsault for a near fall, Colon hits the ring and he nails Extremo with a light tube stunner. Murdoch goes for a pin and Ciclope nails him with a light tube, Ciclope leaves the ring and he returns with a door. Los Macizos then set the door up on some chairs that were in the ring, Los Macizos hit Murdoch with a power bomb/bulldog combo through the door for a near fall. Colon knocks Extremo out of the ring before nailing him with a tornado DDT on the arena floor, Ciclope then hits Murdoch with a destroyer before Colon nails him with a double knee strike. Extremo takes out Colon before eating a kick from Murdoch, all the competitors take turns breaking light tubes over their heads. Murdoch then hits Extremo with a brain buster, Colon follows up with a light tube dive on Ciclope while Murdoch gets a near fall on Extremo. Ciclope knocks Murdoch to the arena floor after landing a light tube assisted cross body block, Extremo puts a bunch of light tubes on top of Colon before landing a 450 splash for a near fall. Extremo meets Murdoch on the ring apron and Murdoch hits him with a destroyer through glass and a door on the arena floor, Ciclope then hits Colon with a twisting superplex for a near fall. 

Ciclope gets a pane of glass from Big Vin and he places it on chairs that are in the ring, Ciclope places Colon under the glass. Colon gets out of the way when Ciclope goes for the moonsault and he crashes through the glass, Colon hits Ciclope with a frog splash followed by a camel clutch to force a tap out from Ciclope. 

Winners: Alex Colon & John Wayne Murdoch 

After the match, Bussy hits the ring and he talks about losing the GCW Tag Team Titles to Los Macizos. Effy says that nobody is giving Bussy a chance to regain the tag team titles, Allie says they will be in the Art Of War Games match. Alex Colon gets the microphone to say he and John Wayne Murdoch will also be in the match.

- The Cardonas vow renewing ceremony is up next after a brief intermission.

Emil Jay hands the microphone to Maven because he is officiating the ceremony. Maven says he wishes he could be as excited as the crowd is for the ceremony, Maven starts trashing the crowd for the hateful comments they posted about the ceremony online. Maven shoes off his badge and certificate to show that he is a real ordained minister, Maven also talks about how wrestling weddings never worked before and he says he’ll prove everybody wrong tonight.

Maven then has the wedding party make their way to the ring, Dark Sheik is the flower girl while Big Vin comes out with Billie Starkz and Masha Slamovich. Charli Evans also comes out with somebody as well, Maven then brings out Matt Cardona’s parents and they come out to the Zack Ryder theme song. Maven then brings out Matthew Cardona, Maven follows that up by bringing out Chelsea Green to the stage.  

Maven officially starts the ceremony while the fans give everybody the business, Green reads her own vows to Cardona. Green brings out a special guest in Maki Itoh to sing her vows to Cardona, Itoh sings a song for Cardona. Cardona decides to thank several people before saying his vows to Green, Cardona talks about his victory over Nick Gage and how he put GCW on the map. Cardona finally reads his vows to Green and they included a poem, Maven brings out the ring bearer and that person is Jimmy Lloyd. Lloyd lost the ring and he is sent backstage to find them, Maven wants to know if anyone objects to the Cardona/Green union and Blake Christian comes to the stage to give Cardona a hug. Christian grabs Green’s behind during a hug and Cardona briefly gets mad at him, Allie Katch comes out next and she has a gift for the happy couple. Katch complains about there not being an open bar, Katch says she came out to thank The Cardonas and she says she couldn’t miss the ceremony.  

Katch says she got them a gift and the gift is some hairspray to help a supposedly balding Cardona, Maven starts having the couple say their vows. Green goes first and there are no interruptions, Cardona goes next and there are no interruptions again. Maven announces that Cardona and Green have officially renewed their vows, Nick Gage makes his way out to the ring with Dewey Donovan as the couple is making out.

Gage hits Cardona’s father with a light tube before landing a power bomb on Cardona, Green confronts Gage and Katch smashes a cake into her face before landing a piledriver on her. Gage grabs some gift wrapped light tubes and he hits Cardona with them before destroying the wedding setup, Gage grabs the gift from Donovan and it is a pizza cutter. Gage cuts the head of Cardona with the pizza cutter a bunch of times, Gage gets the microphone to remind everybody that it is “MDK all f***ing day” to end the festivities.
