Thom Latimer vs. Nick Aldis

We've hit the 2020s!

The crowd energy dipped here, so they may have wanted to do that intermission after the ECW stuff.

They battled back and forth.  Aldis scored several near falls after elbowdrops.  Aldis cinched in a side chinlock.  Latimer made a comeback and speared Aldis for a two count.  Latimer went back to the chinlock.    Aldis was in a sleeper for a long time as Latimer worked him over.   Aldis fought his way out and nailed a Michinoku Driver for a two count.

Latimer cut off Aldis but was nailed when he came off the ropes.  Aldis nailed a flying elbow from the top rope and scored a two count.  Latimer caught Aldis with a big piledriver for a two count.  Aldis kicked off a charge and backdropped Latimer when he went for another piledriver.  He attempted to lock in a Texas Cloverleaf but it was blocked.  Aldis caught him with a small package for the pin in 11 minutes.

Your winner, Nick Aldis.

Latimer raised his arm after the bout.

NWA Women's Champion Kamille vs. Rachael Ellering.

The fact Ellering is even wrestling after obviously banging up her ankle on the Ric Flair's Last Match PPV is nuts.

Kamille controlled early on, using her power to keep Ellering at bay.  Ellering battled back.  They went into a test of strength.  Ellering nailed several big knee strikes to the mid-section and drilled Kamille, who went to the floor.  Kamille regained control and kept scoring two counts and applying pressure to her neck, getting the crowd to cheer and support Ellering as the challenger.  Kamille scored with several big uppercuts.

Ellering fired back and they took it up a notch.  Kamille nailed a hell of a pump kick for a two count.  Kamille drilled her with several high knees in the corner.  She went for another but was caught and tossed across the ring.   Ellering nailed a STO and scored several two counts, including one after a twisting legdrop out of the corner.

Ellering chopped Kamille hard a number of times but was kicked off as she charged towards the corner.  They battled to the top.  Kamille grabbed her in  a Torture Rack and slammed Ellering but she kicked up at two.   They battled back and forth until Kamille speared her and scored the pin.

Your winner and still NWA Women's Champion Kamille.

A damn good match.

TMart Championship: Nate the Great with Marty D'Amato vs. Bam Bam Bundy with Lucky P. Larson.

Here is last year's coverage to exoplain the background.

Nate and Bundy battled.  Bundy was dropkicked out of the ring.  They brawled out of the hotel ballroom and into the hallway outside, going all the way to the men's room.  When they returned, Bundy choked Nate against the ropes.  He then choked him against the turnbuckles.  Bundy worked him over for a long time before missing an Avalanche in the corner and being rolled up for a two count.

Nate was lowblowed.  He was beaten down but finally kicked off another charge.  He nailed a flying bodypress for a two count.  Nate nailed a pair of clotheslines but was KILLED with a big lariat while rebounding off the ropes.  Nate kicked up at the last second.  Bundy set up for a Banzai splash, but Nate got out of thje way and nailed a kick, then a spear.  The referee was distracted by Larson so D'Amato pulled Nate down and argued with him.  The referee was distracted, allowing more interference to take out Nate.

Bundy came off the ropes with a big splash and scored the pin.

Your winner and TMART Champion, Bam Bam Bundy.

WAIIIIIIIIIT, out comes Tommy Young.  He explains the interference so they restart the match.

Nate spears Bundy.

Bundy is pinned.

Your winner and TMART Champion. Nate the Great.

This actually had a ton of heat and the crowd was into this all the way.

Bundy and friends attacked Nate and stomped him.  They confronted Marty and told him that he didn't have a friend left in the world.

Highway to Hell played.

Out came The Bezerker, in full gimmick.  He cleaned house.  That left Larson to eat a big boot.  The night ended with the crowd chanting "HUSS."

They closed the show with fans getting photo-ops in the ring with The Bezerker in his gear.
