Cassidy gets beat down after the match, but Roppongi Vice come to the ring and get beat down as well.

This leads to Katsuyori Shibata coming to the ring and taking out Ospreay. Again, this crowd knew him from the music starting.   Aussie Open drag Ospreay out of the line of attack and Shibata stays in the ring. He and Cassidy go face to face and then Cassidy puts the sunglasses on Shibata.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs Claudio Castagnoli

Oh, this is gonna be good.

Claudio hits an upper cut and a slam immediately for a two count and Zack rolls out of the ring. The brawl starts on the outside. They go into the ring and when Zack goes for a arm hold, Claudio hits another upper cut. Claudio holds up Zack for a delayed vertical suplex and then bring him down and lifts him a second time and slams him for a two count. Zack is able to escape and when Claudio goes for a kick, Zack wraps a leg bar into the ropes.

Zack then starts working the joint manipulation on the arm and leg of Claudio. Zack hits a few taunting kicks and when Claudio charges him. Zack dodges and Claudio goes into the ring post. Zack gets a pair of near falls and goes back to working the arm. When Claudio gets a head scissors, Zack gets free and goes to work on the leg. Zack hits a taunting slap and Claudio hits a pair of back breakers and drives him into the corner and covers for a two count.

Claudio lifts Zack and Zack is able to work his arm and bring him down. Zack locks on an arm bar and Claudio goes out of the ring, and then carries him into the ring with Zack still on his arm until he slams Zack on the mat in the ring. Claudio goes for the giant swing and Zack turns it into a guillotine. Claudio drops Zack on the top turnbuckle. Claudio goes up and Zack locks on a hold in the ropes. Claudio is able to hit a gut wrench slam from the top.

Claudio hits another uppercut and goes for the giant swing, and Zack goes to the ropes. Zack and Claudio fight corner to corner and Claudio is able to slam Zack and gets a two count. Claudio gets the big swing but his arm gives out after a couple of revolutions. Zack gets a kick on Claudio and Claudio comes back for a sharpshooter, and Zack reverses it to a heel hook. Claudio is able to reverse it into a sharp shooter. Zack starts to reverse the hold and Claudio releases to hit a double stomp for a two count.

Claudio is able to get two uppercuts and Zack uses the third attempt to lock on a submission hold I’ve never seen, but most of Zack’s stuff is innovativ

The ref makes him break when it becomes a choke and Zack hits a series fo kicks to Claudio’s chest. Claudio gets up and hits a lariat and covers for a two count. Zack gets a European clutch for a two count. Claudio gets a discus lariat and then a power slam for the pin.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

 

Jay White (Champion) vs. Hangman Page vs. Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Cole for the IWGP World Heavyweight title

Crowd is chanting Holy Sh** and they are right. AND EVERYONE IS STANDING!

Jay White rolls out of the ring, then Cole rolls out. Okada and Page shake hands and Cole pulls Page out of the ring and White attacks Okada. As they battle, White and Page end up outside the ring, and Okada and Page attack them on the outside. Page and Cole brawl and Okada and White brawl until Okada is slammed on the apron and White joins Cole.

White and Cole hit a delayed vertical suplex on Page on the ramp. They then go after Okada in the ring. As Page gets to the ring, White tries to attack him and Page tosses him into the steel step. Page is able to take out White and Page. Page gets a two count on Cole after a high clothesline from the top. He then gets chops on Cole in each corner.

Page fights off White, but when Page goes for a moonsault, Cole kicks Page on his way down. Okada gets into the ring and he is able to fight White and Cole off.

Okada has the best dropkick in wrestling.

The fight goes to the floor and Okada tosses White and Page over the barricade. He then runs and leaps onto them in the crowd. Okada makes it to the ring and locks in the Money Clip on Cole, allow White to grab Okada and hits a back suplex. We then get Page and White fighting. White hits a drop toe hold and then tries for a German suplex, but Page lands on his feet and gets a jack knife cover, with Cole kicking Page in the head.

White and Cole talk strategy. They give the Bullet Club sign and Cole hits a back stabber and gets a two count on White. Cole tries for the Boom and White instead dodges and hits an uranage. White then calls for the sleeper suplex, but Cole escapes. White gets a chop and White is able to get a suplex. Okada comes in and gets on as well. All four men hit moves on each other.

They are all up around the same time and throw forearms at each other. Page gets a power bomb on White for a two count. Page sets for the buckshot and Cole grabs his foot. Page kicks Cole off goes to the top and hits a moonsault from the top to Okada and Cole on the floor. He sets up again and Geto grabs his foot. He kicks Geto off and as White charges, he hits him with a boot. He misses the buckshot, White misses the Blade Runner and Page hits the Deadeye and ANOTHER Buckshot and Okada break up the pin at two.

Page and Okada throw hands and then run the ropes. Page is able to set up for the Buckshot, but Cole pulls him off the apron and tosses him into the post. Cole goes for Panama Sunrise but Okada counters it. He slams Cole and goes to the top. Okada hits a flying elbow and calls for the Rainmaker. Cole dodges the rainmaker. Page misses a Buckshot. Cole hits a super kick. Okada recovers and cgoes for the Rainmaker again and Cole escapes. Cole kicks Page off the apron again. Okada hits a drop kick and a slam and misses the rainmaker again. White is able to come in and hits a Blade Runner on Okada and covers Cole for the three count.

Winner and still IWGP Champion: Jay White

Jon Moxley vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi for the interim AEW World championship

They trade waist locks and arm bars until they go into the ropes and break clean. Tanahashi is able to get a headlock. Mox escapes and takes a flying cross body for Tanahashi. They then trade forearms in the middle of the ring. Tanahashi hits a drop kick to Mox’s knee and then keeps working on the leg. Tanahashi locks on a leg lock and forces Mox to crawl to the ropes.

Mox hits a cutter out of nowhere after the break. They trade forearms and chops again. Mox is able to whip Tanahashi to the corner, lifts him to the top and tries for a suplex. He gets a back scratch to get a hold on Tanahashi and hits a suplex and a then a pile driver for a two count. Mox pulls Tanahashi to the middle of the ring and locks on a submission. He lets go and does the face stomp and lock on a Texas cloverleaf. Tanahashi is able to start crawling and Mox transitions to a headlock and Tanahashi makes it to the ropes.

Mox pulls him up and they trade strikes again. Tanahashi is abel to get whipped into the ropes and comes back with a flying forearm. He slams Mox and goes to the top. Tanahashi hjits a somersault senton and covers for a two count. Tanahashi comes off the ropes and Mox clotheslines him over the ropes. Tanahashi skins the cat and Mox clotheslines him again. They then brawl outside the ring and Mox slams Tanahashi through the timekeeper’s table.

Mox sits in the ring to wait for Tanahashi. Tanahashi makes it into the ring at 9. Mox yells at Tanahashi and starts kicking him in the checks. Tanahashi grabs his foot and Mox is able to lock in an arm bar. Tanahashi kicks his way free. He then hits a sling blade on Mox and Mox rolls out of the ring and he’s busted open.

Somehow.

Tanahashi leaps off the top and hits Mox with a cross body. They fight back into the ring. When Tanahashi comes over, Mox kicks him and hits a suplex. They get up and Mox hits another suplex and then a Paradigm shift into a pin for a two count. Mox tries for another, and Tanahashi escapes and hits a flying crossbody and then a high fly flow for a two count. Mox is able to reverse it into a bulldog choke. Tanahashi is able to get to his feet and gets a jackknife for a two count. Mox locks a headlock choke in, but Tanahashi rolls through for a two count.

Mox hits the hammer and anvil elbows. He then locks in the rear naked choke.

The crowd is chanting Go Ace for Tanahashi.

Tanahashi works to his feet and Mox switches to the death rider suplex and gets the pin.

Winner and Interim AEW Champion: Jon Moxley

Mox and Tanahashi are seated on the mat in opposite corners. They slowly get up and go to the middle of the ring, go head to head and then they shake hands.

Jericho and Garcia come out and attack Mox and Tanahashi. Eddie Kingston charges the ring and the rest of Moxley’s team rushes the ring. Jericho’s team then comes out. Claudio rushes the ring and cleans house. William Regal walks slowly to the ring and we get a big swing. Jericho’s team is driven off and we are desperately out of time!
