MLW played a video package honoring Vladimir the Superfan and presented him with a 2022 Superfan of the Year Award. Vlad, who had no idea it was coming, was completely taken aback. NYC popped huge and chanted, "Vlad's still got it." It was an awesome moment, but hell, I'm biased because he's one of my best friends.
Killer Kross vs. Matt Cross.
We are going to use first names here to keep me from losing my mind. Killer had control early on but Matt came back with a DVDR. He went to the top but it didn't work out so well as he was caught and suplexed to death for the pin.

MLW Featherweight Champion Taya Valkyrie vs. Brittany Blake.
Blake attacked Taya at the bell and worked her over, including using a straitjacket choke and a sleeper before being driven backwards into the buckles. Taya used a stinkface to a big pop but missed a double knee strike in the corner. Blake scored several two counts. Blake went to the top but missed a stomp. Taya speared her. Blake was drilled with a spinning sit-out powerbomb for a two count,
Taya locked on an armbar submission but Blake made it to the ropes to force a break. Blake snapped her against the ropes and scored a two count. Blake went for a tornado DDT off the ropes but Taya blocked it and nailed a big suplex into the corner for a near fall. Taya placed her on the top and chopped her. Blake went for a tiltowhirl into a slam, then maneuvered into a Cloverleaf. Taya cut her off with a STO and drilled her with a curb stomp. Taya locked in a camel clutch variation and forced Blake to tap.

After the match, Sam Leterna went to interview Taya but Sexy Star II appeared on the video screen, announcing she was coming to MLW and coming for the title.
