WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, SONYA PULLS A POWER PLAY, ROMAN HAS AN OPPONENT, PAUL HAS A PROBLEM, AND MORE

We are back and Charlotte works on the neck.  Naomi with a jaw breaker and a round kick in the corner.  Naomi with a lateral press for a near fall.  Naomi with a leg drop for a near fall.  Naomi with a springboard round kick for a near fall.  Naomi goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Charlotte blocks Rear View and gets a near fall.  Charlotte with a figure four leg lock.  Naomi gets to the ropes and Sonya says that you can't win by disqualification and you can only win by pinfall or submission.

Naomi goes for a sunset flip but Charlotte blocks it and kicks Naomi.  Charlotte goes up top and misses a moonsault but hits the Andrade for a near fall.  Charlotte gets a near fall.  Naomi with a forearm and then both women with kicks and both go down.  Naomi with a round kick and Charlotte pulls the hair.  Naomi lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex.  Naomi with a sit out full nelson bomb for a near fall.  Charlotte with a back breaker with Naomi in the ropes and gets a near fall.  Naomi counters a power bomb with an X Factor for a near fall.  Naomi goes for a split legged moonsault but Charlotte stops her.  Charlotte with Natural Selection for the three count.

Winner:  Charlotte Flair

Kayla Braxton is in the back and she is joined by The Usos.

Kayla asks about what Kofi and Xavier said about their last chance.

Jey says the New Day had a chance to win at Day 1 and the Usos paid homage to one of the greatest tag teams with a 3D.  It ends tonight.  Jimmy says the New Day gonna find out why the Usos are called The Ones.

Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring for Happy Talk.

We go to commercial.

Sonya Deville is in the back with Adam Pearce.  Adam says he has been on the phone all night.  Since Roman doesn't have an opponent for the Rumble, he needs one.  Adam says he gets to pick that opponent.  Adam says they want that pick by the end of the night.  He has some ideas to run off Sonya.

Baron Corbin is still in the ring.

Baron thanks everyone for coming out tonight.  Baron says he is here by himself.  With COVID you have to watch your back.  Drew forgot to watch his back after his match at Day 1.  

We take a look at what happened to Drew.

Corbin says that makes him incredibly happy.  It was worth every penny of that fine.  Baron says that Drew was supposed to be out for months, but he is here tonight.

Baron brings out his guest . . . Drew McIntyre.

Drew suddenly looks a lot like Riddick Moss.

Baron asks "Drew" how is he walking after what happened to him on Saturday.  He asks "Drew" how would he do in a match with him.  "Drew" says that Corbin would kill him.  He would soil his kilt.  Corbin asks "Drew" when will we see him compete again.  "Drew" says he could compete tomorrow, but he is going to milk this injury to pursue his true passion, painting water colors and writing poetry about the Loch Ness Monster.

Moss reveals that he is 'Drew".

Erik and Ivar make their way to the ring and Moss and Corbin leave the ring.

Match Number Three:  Erik and Ivar versus Riddick Moss and Baron Corbin

The match is joined in progress and ivar slams Moss and then Erik slams Ivar onto Moss for a near fall.  Moss with a kick to teh leg and Corbin tags in.  Ivar with a boot and Erik tags in.  Erik sends Corbin into the corner and Erik runs Ivar into Corbin in the corner and Erik gets a near fall.  Erik with a back elbow to Corbin and Moss with a forearm from the apron.  Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall.  Corbin with punches to Erik and Moss tags in and hits a running shoulder tackle.  Erik with punches and he goes for a cross body but Moss catches Erik and hits a fallaway slam.  Corbin tags in.

Corbin punches Erik and kicks him in the corner.  Erik with an elbow to Moss and Corbin with an elbow to Erik.  Moss tags in and Erik with a forearm to knock Corbin to the floor.  Moss with kicks and punches to Erik.  Both men are down.  Corbin pulls Ivar off the apron and sends him into the ring steps to prevent the tag from being made.  Moss with the Punchline for the three count.

Winners:  Baron Corbin and Riddick Moss

Michael Cole mentions that Drew suffered a cervical neck strain and he will continue to be evaluated.

Sheamus is in the back.  He says who cares about Drew.  He cares about his protege Ridge Holland and Ridge had his nose broken.  Sheamus says he feels a bit responsible.  He knows what will cheer up Ridge.  Sheamus says he is in the Royal Rumble match.  

Roman Reigns is in the back and there is a knock on the door.

Adam Pearce enters and Roman tells him to sit.  Adam tells Roman he chose Roman's opponent.  Roman says it does not matter who he picks.

Roman says he would like to watch his cousins' match so he tells him to leave.

Match Number Four:  Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso in a Street Fight for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship

Jimmy and Kofi start things off and Kofiw it punches and a snap mare.  Woods tasg in and Kofi with a kick and Woods with a sliding clothesline.  Kofi with a slingshot splash and Woods with a near fall.  Kofi tags in and Jey pulls Jimmy away and they go to teh floor.  Kofi goes up top and hits a trust fall onto Jimmy and Jey.

We go to commercial.

We are back and they are fighting by the entrance.  Jimmy with a head butt to Kofi but Kofi sends Jimmy into the LED board.  Woods does the same to Jey.  They return to the ringside area.  Jimmy punches Woods and then hot shots Kofi on the apron.  Woods with a super kick to Jimmy.  Jey pulls Woods to teh apron and Woods with a round kick and slingshot tornado DDT for a near fall.  Jimmy with a pop up Samoan drop for a near fall.  Jey gets a near fall on an Alley Oop Samoan Drop.  Jey goes under the ring and he ignores the Gatorade and grabs some tape and tosses it to Jimmy.  Woods is taped to the top rope.  Kofi with a reverse suplex to Jimmy followed by a rollup on Jey for a near fall.  Kofi frees Woods and then Jimmy and Jey go over the top rope to the floor.

Kofi and Woods are pulled to the floor and Kofi and Woods with punches.  Kofi is sent into the ring post and Woods is sent over the ringside barrier.  Jimmy and Jey grab the ring steps and hit Kofi in the head with them.  Jimmy and Jey hit Woods with the steps.  Jimmy and Jey punch Kofi.  Woods with a cross body off the ringside barrier.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Woods gets Jimmy on his shoulders to stop a superplex and Kofi with a cross body for a near fall.  Woods puts on Karrion Kross' helmet and head butts Jimmy in the midsection.  Kofi hits Jimmy wiht the chest plate.  Jey tries to kick Woods in the helmet and that does not work.  Kofi hits Jey and they get a near fall after a double drop kick.  Woods sends a table into the ring and gives it to Kofi.  Kofi puts the table against the turnbuckles.  Woods tries to send Jimmy into the table but Jimmy reverses it.  Jimmy super kicks Woods.  Kofi kicks Jimmy.  Jey with a super kick to Kofi.  Jey sets for a running hip to Kofi against the table but Kofi moves and Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise for a near fall.  

Woods with a kick from the apron.  Woods goes up top and Jey crotches him.  They hit a double super kick to the back.  They follow with a double super kick to Kofi and another double super kick.  The Usos set up the table in the center of the ring.  Kofi gets up and the Usos hit the 3D through the table for the three count.

Winners:  Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso (retain Championship)

We go to the back where Roman Reigns hears a knock on the door and he acknowledges it.

Roman gets up and he sees his opponent and it is Seth Rollins.

We go to credits.
