Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring by wheelchair.
We take a look at the way that Brock Lesnar manipulated Sami Zayn into getting destroyed by Roman Reigns last week on Smackdown instead of at Day One.
Sami says he is the toughest man in WWE history. He says don't judge him on what he looks like now, look at what caused him to be in this state. It took the two most dangerous men in WWE to do this to him. It took Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to do this to me. Two guys who can't stand each other make sure that Sami Zayn is not the champion. I am not going to call it a conspiracy, but come on. I was robbed. You know what really hurt about what Brock did to me. It wasn't the Germans or the F-5s, it was the betrayal. Now I have to do something about it. Now, I have to do what is right. I have to stand by my convictions. I have to sue.
It brings me no pleasure. I am going to sue Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, the referee who rang the bell because that match shouldn't have happened. I am going to sue Brock Lesnar. I am going to sue Roman Reigns. I am going to sue Paul Heyman. I am going to sue anyone who cost me my title match.
Paul Heyman comes out. I am sorry that you have been subjected to this spiel about litigation and suing from Sami Zayn.
Sami says Paul thinks this is a joke.
Paul says it isn't funny. Paul says it is his people who do the litigating. My people run Hollywood and he tells Sami Shabbat Shalom.
Paul introduces himself.
Sami says he wasn't finished talking. Sami tells Paul he is blocking his shot.
Paul shushes Sami. He says that he is here as a representative of the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He is here to tell you.
Sami gets up from his wheelchair and he says he wasn't finished talking.
Sami says that he knows that Roman is not here tonight.
Paul says that Roman is on a one week sabbatical on the Island of Samoa to train for his match at Day One.
Sami says neck brace or no neck brace, wheelchair or no wheelchair, he is a world class athlete. Sami says there is no one here to save you.
Brock Lesnar's music plays and Sami is not happy.
Brock does the Brock Bounce on the ramp.
Sami is back in his wheelchair.
Brock takes a chair and hits the announce table and then points the chair at the guy not named Michael Cole who does commentary.
Brock sets up the chair in the ring and then he walks up to Paul Heyman. Brock offers his hand to Paul and Paul gives him the microphone.
Paul might need a change of suit if he is going to be on television later tonight.
Brock sits down and he asks Sami how is he doing.
Sami says he is not doing well.
Brock points out the wheelchair, neck brace, and male nurses.
Sami tells Brock to shut up.
Brock says we got off on the wrong foot. He apologizes for what happened last week. On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad does it hurt.
Sami says 10. Sami says the physical pain is a 10. His feelings are a 20.
Brock says he is feeling him. You said we were friends last week and tonight. Brock points out they are both Canadians. Do you really think you could have single handedly beaten Roman Reigns? I did you a favor.
Sami says Brock dropped him on his head.
Brock says Sami never would have beaten Roman one on one.
Sami wants to clarify things and say that Brock was thinking two steps ahead and hurt me so Roman's win wouldn't have counted.
Brock asks Sami what part of Canada he is from.
Sami says he is from Montreal.
They talk in French.
Brock says he is trying to lighten it up. From one Canadian Alpha Male to another. I want to invite you to Saskatchewan. Let's go hunting or fishing.
Sami says he is vegan.
Brock gets up and Sami is not happy. Brock says they should get out of Hollywood and do something more fun and enjoy things.
Sami says that is not a bad idea.
Brock pushes Sami in the wheelchair against the ropes.
Paul wants to know what the hell is he looking at. Paul says he has spent too much time at the dispensary and the edibles are kicking in. That would have been an automatic trip to Suplex City three years ago. Now he is looking at Canadian Besties getting ready to go Moose Hunting in Saskatchewan. You were the man who would be the Universal Champion.
Brock attacks the male nurses and throws them to the floor. Brock kicks Sami out of the wheelchair and the wheelchair is sent to the floor. Brock with an F5.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Brock walks in the back and Kayla Braxton ambushes him to ask why did he come to the ring.
Brock says to ask his advocate Paul Heyman.
Match Number One: Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo versus Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs
Boogs with a punch t Carrillo and Boogs with a POUNCE. Garza with a knee to the back but Boogs biels Angel into the ring. Boogs presses Garza over his head and sends him to the floor. Carrillo rakes the eyes and punches Boogs. Boogs spins Carrillo and Nakamura with a kick to Carrillo for the three count.
Winners: Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs
We see a giant purple velvet stand and Kofi tells The Viking Raiders not now. Drew Gulak, Mansoor, and Ricochet are also there.
We go to commercial.
We go to the back for the unveiling of a new crown for Xavier Woods.
Kofi Kingston tells everyone to prepare to take in the presence of Xavier Woods. Kofi says it is a very special day. He will show the new crown. We see the new crown and Woods puts it on.
Woods says the crown was made from unicorn horns. Tonight they will take on the Raw and Smackdown tag team champions to prove that they are they greatest tag team in WWE.
We take a look at what Drew McIntyre did two weeks ago when he wasn't put in the Battle Royal. Then we see what Drew had to say last week.
Adam Pearce is in his office and there is no knock on his door, but there is a large Scottish man with a sword.
Drew says he heard Adam was the reason he wasn't in the battle royal.
Adam says Sonya came up with the list along with a higher authority's approval. The higher authority said that Drew cannot take his sword to the ring.
Drew decides to leave his sword with Adam's desk.
We see Cesaro watching the monitor in the back.
Toni Storm is in the back and she smiles as Sasha Banks shows up.
Sasha says she knows that Charlotte says she is not on her level but Sasha says that Toni has it. There has never been a hybrid competitor like Toni. Sasha says she has never seen Charlotte that angry before. Toni says piebacks are a bitch. Sasha tells Toni not to lose her cool until Charlotte does.
Match Number Two: Sheamus versus Drew McIntyre
They exchange punches as the match starts. Drew with a chop and Sheamus with a kick and punch. Drew avoids being sent into the turnbuckles. Drew with a chop and kick. Drew with another chop. Sheamus with a punch and clothesline. Drew goes to the apron and Sheamus with a forearm to the lower back and then he connects with forearms across the chest. Drew with an elbow and Drew with forearms to the chest. Sheamus with his forearms to Drew and then he sends Drew to teh floor. Sheamus goes to the apron but misses a clothesline. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sheamus goes for an Air Raid Crash but Drew goes for a sunset flip. Sheamus counters with a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Sheamus gets Drew on his shoulders but Drew gets to his feet and he chops Sheamus and hits a Future Shock. Drew sets for a Claymore but Sheamus with a jumping knee for a near fall. Sheamus sets for a Brogue Kick. Sheamus misses and Drew with a rollup for a near fall. Sheamus goes for a slam but Drew gets to his feet and Drew with a head butt. Sheamus with a head butt. Sheamus with an Irish whip and Drew with a Claymore out of the corner for the three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Baron Corbin and Riddick Moss are pushing Drew's sword away in Pearce's desk.
