WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT; TWO TOURNAMENTS, A CONTRACT SIGNING, A HELL IN A CELL ANNOUNCEMENT, TWO AND A HALF HOURS OF THIS NEXT WEEK (ON FS1), AND MORE

We are back and Roman and company are in the ring.

Roman listens to the crowd for a minute or two before he speaks.

Roman addresses San Jose and he demands that they acknowledge him.

Roman says Paul had one job to do before tonight and that was to make sure his cousins were drafted to Smackdown.  That is what he did.  Roman wants San Jose to acknowledge Paul.  Roman puts his arm around Paul and Roman tells Paul that he loves him.  Paul says he loves Roman.  Roman says his cousins love Paul too.  He says that Paul is family is the wise man to the Bloodliine.  He wants Paul to be wise.  He wants Paul to come clean and tell the truth.  Roman says he wants Paul to admit that he is responsible for Brock Lesnar's free agency.

Paul says he is in a terrible situation.  Whatever he says will sound like he is spinning things.  I have been with your family for 40 years.  

Roman has Paul look him in the face.

Paul says that Roman saved him to be Roman's special counsel because you know that I am the wise man.  I have been accused of many things in my life and I am guilty of even more.  I have never been accused of being stupid.  To come up with a scheme to pull the trigger and topple the Tribal Chief before Crown Jewel.  Wouldn't you want me to leak the strategy to get Brock to think that he has a chance.  Only a stupid person would do that.  You wouldn't choose a stupid man to be your speical counsel.

Brock Lesnar cannot stand the fact that at Crown Jewel, the Conqueror will be Conquered by Roman . . . 

Roman takes the mic back and he says he doesn't want Paul to tell him.  He wants Paul to look into the camera and tell Brock.  Roman says he will protect Paul because he can.

Paul tells Brock Lesnar he has to give him a ton of credit.  You outsmarted the wise man.  Frankenstein taught the doctor a lesson.  You know what will happen to you at Crown Jewel.  They said the Undertaker could not be beaten at Wrestlemania and I told you the Undertaker met his match and that match is Brock Lesnar.  Brock Lesnar has met his match and that match is Roman Reigns.  Roman will walk into Crown Jewel as the champion and you will learn that the winner and still reigning, defending, Undisputed Universal Champion is Roman Reigns.

Paul says that is not just a prediction, that is a spoiler.  You can believe that.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are in the office and Seth Rollins shows up.  Seth asks if Edge will be here tonight.  

Adam says that Edge was scheduled to be here before you broke into his house.  

Seth says he will come to the ring to have Edge answer his challenge.  if he does not, it won't end up well for you.  Seth gives Adam and Sonya a photo he took from Edge's house and he leaves.

Match Number Three:  Liv Morgan versus Carmella in a Queen's Crown First Round Match

Carmella goes to the floor before the match to get her Iron Mask put on.  

Liv with a double leg take down and a jackknife cover for a near fall.  Carmella with Cone of Silence and Liv grabs the mask to force Carmella to release the hold.  Liv with a back elbow and she blocks a kick.  Liv with an enzuigiri and a face buster but Carmella gets her foot on the ropes.  Liv runs into a boot and Carmella with forearms to the back.  Carmella gets a near fall.  Carmella with a thrust kick for the three count.

Winner:  Carmella (advances to face Zelina Vega)

Kayla Braxton is in the back and she is with Mace.

Kayla asks Mace what will he do as a singles wrestler.  Mace says he will not compete because that means there is competition.  There is no one who can match his strength and power.  He only sees prey.  He is not coming to compete, he is coming to annihilate.

Baron Corbin and Riddick Moss make their way to the ring for Baron's talk show segment.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Baron welcomes everyone back for his talk show.  Moss laughs like he has been infected with the Atlas-Virus.  Moss asks what instrument do you find in the bathroom.  A tube-a toothpaste.

Kevin Owens' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.  

Owens punches Moss on the floor and then he goes after Corbin.  Owens kicks Moss but Corbin punches Owens when he tries for a stunner.  Corbin and Moss Irish whip Owens into the corner.Moss with a neck breaker driver.

Adam and Sonya are in the office and Naomi comes into the room and she asks why wasn't she in the Queen's Crown tournament.  Sonya says she is not talented enough to be in the tournament.

Naomi asks Adam to send her to Raw and Sonya says she is not done with Naomi and Naomi has a match next week against . . . her.

Match Number Four:  Finn Balor versus Cesaro in a First Round King of the Ring Match

They lock up and Cesaro with a wrist lock and take down.   Cesaro blocks a side head lock take down and then Cesaro gets a near fall on a rollup.  Balor with a side head lock and Cesaro with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall.  Cesaro with a hard Irish whp for a near fall.  Cesaro with a snap mare and a leg drop for a near fall.  Cesaro wtih a European uppercut.  Balor floats over and gives Cesaro a double leg take down and a double stomp.  Balor sends Cesaro over the top rope to the floor with a bac drop.  Cesaro gets back into the ring to stop Balor on a dive and Cesaro with a pop up European uppercut for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro with chops.  Balor with an elevated elbow drop for a near fall.  Cesaro sends Balor into the turnbuckles and hits a Euroepan uppercut.  Cesaro with Irish whips and European uppercuts in teh corner.  Cesaro with an Irish whip and Balor with slingblade and both men are down.  Balor goes to the apron to avoid Cesaro and he hits an enzugirii.  Balor goes to the turnbuckles but Cesaro recovers and hits a Euroepan uppercut.  Cesaro with a head butt.  Cesaro with a superplex and both men are down..  Cesaro gets a near fall.  Cesaro with a crossface and Balor reaches for the ropes.  Balor with a rollup for a near fall.

Balor gets another near fall.  Cesaro misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post.  Balor with a plancha onto Cesaro on the floor.  They return to the ring and Balor with a running drop kick.  Balor goes up top for the Coup de Grace.  Balor hits the Coup de Grace for the three count.

Winner:  Finn Balor (advances to face Sami Zayn

Becky Lynch is in the office and she says that Brock and Roman haven't moved the game like she did.  She demands respect on her name.  She has responded to every request.  She got blindsided and attacked from behind.  Becky says she gave the people the biggest match possible.  

Sonya says we know how good you are.  The only thing left is to prove it by beating Bianca and Sasha at the same time. She asks Becky to sign the contract and Becky does.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that Brock Lesnar will be on next week's Smackdown (on FS1).  We will have the Smackdown finals of the Queen's Crown match and King of The Ring Tounaments.  Sasha Banks will face Becky Lynch next week.

Seth is still in the ring and he says the time has come.  We have been waiting all day and he has been waiting all week and all his life for a moment like this.  Seth tells Edge to come out and answer his challenge.

Seth says Edge can name the time and place as well as the stipulation.  He says we can have the match in your living room with your wife and daughter cheering you on.

Edge does not come out.  What happened to the ultimate opportunist?  Seth says he ended that guy with one stomp at Madison Square Garden.  Seth says he will take Edge's silence as an admission that he is better than Edge in every single way.  Seth says Edge isn't just disappointing him, but you are disappointing your fans.  You are disappointing your family.

I cannot imagine what it means for your girls that their daddy is not an inspiration, but a coward.

Edge arrives in the building (3 minutes before the show ends) and he makes his way to the ring.

Seth leaves the ring and he gets a chair but Edge with a spear.  Rollins goes to the floor and then Edge spears Rollins into the announce table.  Edge sends Rollins into the ring steps and ring post.  Then they use the announcer who was in the wrong place's headset to choke Rollins.  Edge gets the piece of the chair and he tries to use it on Rollins but Seth with an elbow and he gets away.

Edge takes the mic and he says you . . . me . . . Hell in a Cell.

We go to credits.
