WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: A CONTRACT SIGNING, A VEHICULAR JOURNEY TO A LOCAL MEDICAL FACILITY, A TITLE MATCH, AND A CHALLENGE MADE AND ACCEPTED

We are back and Paul Heyman is on the phone when he walks past Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox and they ask if he needs a ride.

Paul turns around into Kayla Braxton who ambushes him for an answer.  

Paul says Roman Reigns will witness his cousins defend the Smackdown Tag Team Champions and then, live, in Madison Square Garden, Roman Reigns will answer the challenge of Brock Lesnar.  Whether it is a yes or a no?  Don't you love a good cliffhanger.

Paul turns into Big E.

Big E holds up the briefcase and giggles.

Match Number Two:  Edge versus Seth Rollins

They lock up and Edge with a wrist lock.  Rollins with a reversal and an arm wringer.  They lock up and Edge with a side head lock and take down.  Rollins with a head scissors and Edge escapes.  Edge with a side head lock and Rollins with a drop kick to the leg.  Edge with a rollup for a near fall.  Edge with forearms followed by an Irish whip.  Edge avoids being sent into the turnbuckles by Rollins.  Edge sends Rollins into the turnbuckles and then sends Rollins shoulder first into the ring post.  Edge goes for an arm bar but Rollins rolls to the floor and then Rollins pulls Edge to the floor and into the ringside barrier and apron.  Edge kicks Rollins while Rollins is in the ropes.  Rollins with a knee to Edge.

Rollins goes up top and rolls away from Rollins.  Rollins with a Harley Race knee to the back and Edge goes through the ropes to the floor.  Rollins with a suicide dive as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins punches Edge against the ringside barrier.  Rollins with a super kick for a near fall.  Rollins with a top wrist lock.  Rollins with a dragon screw leg whip to Edge.  Rollins blocks a kick and Edge with punches.  Edge misses an enzuigiri and Rollins hits a Glam Slam.  Rollins sets for another one and he hits it.  Rollins gets a near fall.  Rollins with a kick and he goes for Edgecution but Edge blocks it.  They go back and forth.  Rollins with a sunset flip but Edge rolls through.  Edge with a Pedigree for a near fall.

Edge goes to the turnbuckles and hits a clothesline on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with an arm drag.  Edge with a full nelson slam for a near fall.  Edge goes up top and Rollins goes to the turnbuckles for a superplex but Rollins is sent face first to the mat by Edge.  Edge comes off the turnbuckles and avoids a boot.  Edge with a Scorpion Death Lock but Rollins sends Edge into the turnbuckles.  Rollins goes for a LeBell Lock but Edge escapes.  Edge with a Crossface and he rolls Rollins into the center of the ring.  Edge keeps Rollins from reaching for the ropes.  Edge slams Rollins' head into the mat but Rollins gets to the ropes.  Edge with an Edgecution and then Edge sets for a spear but Rollins with a neck breaker.  Edge counters Black Out with a sit out power bomb.  

Edge puts Rollins on the turnbuckles.  Rollins goes under and Rollins with a buckle bomb.  Rollins comes off the ropes and Edge with a spear and Edge gets a near fall.  Edge with forearms but they don't have a lot behind them.  Rollins with a knee and punch.  Rollins goes for a neck breaker but Edge sends Rollins into the corner and the referee is hit when they go into the corner.  Rollins with a low kick and a boot to the face.  Rollins with a super kick.  Rollins with another super kick.  Rollins with another super kick as he wonders why Edge does not die.  Rollins with Black Out and Rollins covers Edge for the three count.

Winner:  Seth Rollins

After the match, the referee calls for medical help to check on Edge.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and Edge is being taken through the back on a stretcher as he is put into a medical transport vehicle to be taken to a local medical facility.

We see the medical transport vehicle take Edge away and Seth is ambushed for comments.  He says he doesn't know and he says his arm hurts.  He says he does not know how he feels or how he is supposed to feel.  Rollins says maybe he doesn't feel anything at all.

We see Roman Reigns pacing in the Tribal Locker Room.  

Roman asks if they the ones.  That means they want what we have.  Roman says they run New York.  We run WWE.  He asks if they are losing tonight.  Jimmy says they have him.  Jey says they are still the ones.

Paul starts to talk and Roman says he saved Paul.  He wants to know why Paul didn't tell him Brock was at SummerSlam.

Paul is at a loss for words as we go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships

Ford with a drop kick to Jimmy as the bell rings and he gets a near fall.  Jimmy sends Ford to the apron.  Ford kicks Jey off the apron and Jimmy with a suicide dive.  

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle and then he drops Ford onto Jimmy for a near fall.  Jey tags in and he hits a forearm into the corner.  Jey gets a near fall.  Dawkins with a drop kick and arm wringer.  Jey with a back elbow and Jimmy tags in.  They make a wish on Angelo and Jimmy gets a near fall.  Jey tags in and kicks Angelo.  Jey misses a leg drop and Angelo clotheslines Jey over the top rope to the floor.  Ford kicks Jimmy and he goes to the floor.  Ford tags in and hits a flip dive.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Dawkins with a swinging neck breaker and both men are down.  Jimmy and Ford tag in and Ford with a cross body for a near fall.  Ford knocks Jey off the apron.  Ford with a clothesline to Jimmy and then Ford with a series of kicks to Jey.  Ford floats over and lost a shoe.  Ford with a drop kick and he gets a near fall.  Jey with a forearm and Dawkins tags in.  Dawkins gets Jey up and Ford with a blockbuster and Dawkins gets a near fall.  Dawkins with a front face lock and he goes for a butterfly neck breaker.  Jey with a head butt and Jimmy with a super kick when Dawkins leap frogs Jey.  Jey gets a near fall.  Jimmy tags in and Ford pulls Jey out of the ring and Ford is sent into the ringside barrier.

Dawkins with a rollup but Jey with a super kick from the floor.  Jey tags in and hits a super fly splash for a near fall.  Jey picks up Dawkins and Dawkins with a forearm.  Ford tags in and Dawkins with a forearm.  Jimmy tags in and Jey with an enzuigiri to Dawkins.  Dawkins gets his knees up when Jimmy goes for a frog splash.  Ford with a Seven Star Frog Splash but Roman pulls Ford off Jimmy.

Winners:  Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (by disqualification)

After the match, Roman with a guillotine to Ford.

Roman says if Brock Lesnar wants it, he will get it.  He will smash Brock Lesnar as soon as he is done smashing Finn Balor.

The lights go out and the Demon is here.

The Demon comes to the ring and he gets in Roman's face.

We go to credits.
