WWE NXT REPORT: TWO TITLE MATCHES, TWO PARTIES, FRANKY GETS HER CHANCE NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We are back and McKenzie asks Ember about how things are not going her way.  Ember says it has been a rough 3 months.  She lost the tag titles, her tag partner, and almost every match in the last three months.  It took Kay Lee Ray to wake me up.  I don't want to feel like this any more.  I know what I have to do so stay tuned.

We go to Hit Row in the studio.  

Isaiah says he cannot be mad because he saw it coming.  I should have known that Santos was going to come back with something.  The joke is now on you.  Adonis says they are not laughing.  Scott says they added in some chick.  B-Fab says she does not know who Lopez is.  You do not say hello by hitting me with a pipe.  Now we have a problem.

Match Number Four:  Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter versus Io Shirai and Zoey Stark for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships

Stark and Kacy start things off and Kacy with a drop toe hold into a side head lock.  Kacy with a head scissors and Zoey uses her hands to get back to her feet.  Io wants to tag in and Zoey allows it.  Kayden tags in as well.  Kayden with a side head lock and Io with a head scissors but Kayden does a cartwheel to land on her feet.  Io tells Zoey to watch and Kayden with a drop kick for a near fall.  Kayden with an arm bar.  Io with punches to Kayden.   Kacy with an Irish whip and she misses a splash. Io puts Kacy in the ropes and Io with a Codebreaker.  The referee checks on Kacy and Zoey tags herself in as we go to commercial.

We are back and Stark with a surfboard on Kacy.  Kacy with punches but Zoey with a knee.  Stark keeps Kacy from making the tag but Kayden is able to make the tag and she hits a bulldog.  Kayden with a forearm to Stark and a drop kick to Io and a splash on Stark.  Carter with a springboard victory roll and a kick for a near fall.  Carter misses a round kick and thrust kick.  Stark with a round kick and Io tags in and hits a Tiger Feint Kick.  Kacy misses tripping Io and Io kicks Kacy.  Io with a missile drop kick and she gets a near fall.  Io with a knee in the back and she gets a near fall.

Io with a crossface on Kayden.  Io with a forearm and she stands on Kayden's chest and slaps Carter.  Io with forearms and kicks.  Kayden with a kick and Kacy tags in and Kayden with a back drop of Kacy onto Io for a near fall.  Kayden tags in and Kayden gets Io up and Io with elbows to escape.  Io with a German suplex.  Io with a running double knee strike in the corner and Zoey tags in and kicks Kayden in the head for a near fall.  Kayden knocks down on the apron and Stark misses a shoulder in the corner and she knocks Io off the apron.  Kayden with a flatliner and Kacy tags in and Kacy gets on Kayden's shoulders as they come off the turnbuckles but Io with a springboard drop kick to Kayden to break up the cover.

Stark with a kick to the back of the leg and a kick to the head for a near fall.  Zoey with s knee and Io tags in and hits a moonsault for the three count.

Winners:  Io Shirai and Zoey Stark (retain championship)

After the match, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, and Mandy Rose attack Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.

Kyle O'Reilly says the last twelve months have been strange.  From losing title matches to having your best friend turn on you.  What is freeing is not giving a damn.  Being able to think and feel however I want.  I don't care who is footing the bill.  My endgame is the NXT Championship and Samoa Joe.  It isn't about the physical title he wears around his waist.  it is what the title represents.  It is about being the best.  At Takeover, one obsession ended and next week, another one begins.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Johnny and Dexter are in the limo with Odyssey Jones, Drake Maverick, and Zombie ref.  Johnny wants to know who is paying for the bachelor party or wedding.  Cameron Grimes shows up and he says it is time to take the party TO THE MOON.

Cameron says the Million Dollar Man says you can take care of any problem with some money.  He says he is paying for the bachelor party and wedding.

The first stop is Go Karts with the winner getting $10,000.

We see Indi and Candice spying on them.

It is time for some axe throwing and they are asked if anyone has some experience with axes and Dexter raises his hand.  

It is time for a trampoline experience and Odyssey sends Drake all over the place.

It is time for some Laser Tag and Dexter chokes out the competition.

Johnny is hesitant to high five Dexter like he did to his other teammates and the zombie ref says he is okay and then everyone is shocked that he is Canadian.

Indi and Candice show up and Indi is happy that Johnny and Dexter are getting along.

We see Boa walk into a room with Mei Ying and he bows before her and he says It's Time.

We are back and Franky Monet comments on the wedding invitation and how much they hate it.  Robert Stone shows up and he says that he came from William Regal's office.  Next week, Franky Monet versus Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Title. 

Franky asks if they know how much of a big deal this is for the brand.  They will be talking about her as the new NXT Women's Champion.

Match Number Five:  Mei Ying (with Boa) versus Virginia Ferry

Mei Ying with a thrust to the throat and a sleeper but Ferry with a jaw breaker.  Mei with a forearm and a double thrust to the throat.  Mei with a cartwheel forearm.  Mei grabs Ferry by the throat and gets the three count.

Winner:  Mei Ying

We go to LA Knight and he says it is championship season.  You have heard the announcement that there is a number one contender match.  Knight tells everyone to quit their crying and belly-aching about me being in the match.  You will continue as I beat three of your favorites.  Then Samoa Joe will have to deal with me.

Wes Lee and Nash Carter are in the back getting ready for their tag title match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tommaso Ciampa says he talked about motivation and how a motivated Ciampa is a dangerous Ciampa.  I was motivated to kick Ridge Holland's ass.  I have two goals now.  First, Pete Dunne.  I know who is calling the shots.  If you want to slay the dragon, chop of its damn head.  Second, it has been a long time.  Goal number two . . . GOLDIE.

Match Number Six:  Nash Carter and Wes Lee versus Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch (with Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland) for the NXT Men's Tag Team Championships

Burch and Carter start things off.  They lock up and Burch with a clean break.  They lock up and Burch with a wrist lock and a side head lock take down.  Burch punches Carter a few times.  Carter avoids a punch and forearm.  Carter with a few drop kicks.  Burch with a head butt to the midsection and Lorcan tags in and he works on the arm.  Lorcan with a European uppercut.  Carter lands on his feet on a belly-to-back supelx and Lee tags in.  Lee and Carter with a series of kicks.  Carter with a double stomp to the back and Lee gets a near fall.  Lee with a front face lock.

Carter tags in and he hits a slingshot senton and he gets a near fall.  Burch tags in and Carter fights out of the corner but Burch hits Carter from behind with a forearm.  Burch with a European uppercut and punches.  Lorcan tags in and they chops Carter.  Burch tags in and they miss a double clothesline and Carter with a springboard twisting cross body.  Lee tags in and Lee sends Carter into Burch in the corner and Burch falls to the floor.  Burch gets back into the ring.  They lock up and Carter with a take down into an arm bar.  Burch with a knee to the midsection followed by a European upeprcut.  Carter misses a splash in the corner and Burch with a clothesline for a near fall.  

Lorcan tags in and he connects with a European uppercut.  Lorcan with chops in the corner followed by a European uppercut.  Lorcan with a hard Irish whip and Burch tags backin.  Burch with a suplex and he gets a near fall.  Burch with a reverse chin lock.  Burch takes Carter back to the mat.  Carter with elbows but he misses an enzuigiri.  Burch with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Lorcan tags in and he chops Carter.  Carter with forearms and Lorcan with chops and European uppercuts.  Lorcan with a suplex and he punches Carter.  Burch tags in and he connects with forearms.  Burch with more punches and Lorcan tags in.  Lorcan with a European uppercut and Burch tags in.  Carter sends Lorcan to the floor but Burch with a head butt to the midsection.  

Carter with a jumping knee and both men are down.  Burch rolls to the corner to make the tag to Lorcan and Lee tags in.  Lee with forearms to Lorcan and a kick to Burch.  Lee with knees to Lorcan and a drop kick.  Lee with a running forearm into the corner followed by a kick and German suplex for a near fall.  Lee with a front face lock and Lorcan with a jaw breaker.  Lee with a kick and Carter tags in.  Lee pushes Carter onto Lorcan for a lateral press and he gets a near fall.  Burch is knocked to the floor and Lee with a suicide dive.  Carter with a moonsault off the turnbuckles onto Lorcan.  

Carter sends Lorcan back into the ring and he goes up top and lands on Lorcan's knees on a swanton.  Lorcan with a clip to Lee and he applies an ankle lock.  Burch puts Lee in a Crossface and Carter sends Lorcan into Burch.  Burch with a head butt to Lee.  Carter with a knee to Burch.  Lorcan with chops to Carter and a running elbow into the corner.  Carter hip tosses Lorcan into the turnbuckles.  Carter with a super kick to Burch.  Lee goes up and hits the blockbuster while Carter hits a spienbuster and Lee gets the three count.

Winners:  Wes Lee and Nash Carter (retain Championship)

After the match, Carter and Lee celebrate on the stage while Holland and Dunne stand against the ropes.

Burch gets back to his feet and Dunne checks on Burch.  Dunne looks at Holland and Holland with a head butt to Burch.  Lorcan does not know what is going on and Dunne kicks Lorcan in the head.  Dunne with a kick to the head while Holland hits Emerald Frosion.

Dunne and Holland are about to leave the ring, but there is still time so Holland gives Burch a forearm for his troubles.

We go to credits.
