NEW CHAMPIONS CROWNED, RIC FLAIR AND MORE: COMPLETE NWA 73 PPV COVERAGE

Kyle Davis is in the ring and brings out someone who knows the Chase very well.  Nature Boy Ric Flair emerges, stylin and profilin as only he can.  St Louis is ecstatic to see him.  He promises not to cry. Yesterday he was with Pete Rose and Dennis Rodman.  He spoke to Darius Rucker and LAwrence Taylor because he was their idol.  He lived and died to be in St. Louis.  He's got some people to thank: his wife Wendy, Triple H, Shawn Austin, Vince McMahon.  He says he loves Vince for letting him go to be here. He's proud that his belt is in Hunter's office.  He thanks Undertaker and puts over Harley Race and going an hour with Brody in St. Louis.  He talks about the Funks, Jack Briscoe and host of others in St. Louis.  He thanks the legendary Sam Muchnick.  Ric spent a lot of money in St. Louis.  He puts over Tony Khan and Billy Corgan. The spirit of wrestling is alive and well.  Ric wants a title shot with Nick Aldis as he takes off his robe and struts around the ring.  Ric thanks Billy Corgan profusely for having him as well as the fans in the Chase. We get a big WOOOOOOOOOOO to close out the segment.

He rambled a but, but dammit he's Ric Flair! It's always good!

12 Man Battle Royal: Sal Rinauro vs JTG vs. Capt. Yuma vs. Marsche Rockket vs Jeremiah Plunkett vs. Luke Hawx vs Matthew Mims vs. El Rudo vs. Jamie Stanley vs. Rush Freeman vs. Jaden the Heartthrob vs. Judais

The winner of this will be the number one contender to the National Title. Judais is accompanied by James Mitchell.  It's a little tough calling a battle royal.  It's Chaos at the outset at Judais choke slams Rinauro.  NWA Rules stipulate that the way to be elimnated here is simply for 1 foot to hit the floor.  You do not have to go over the top rope.  JTG is taking charge here.  Yuma and Sal are trying to eliminate Rudo.  Stanley powerslams Sal.  Freeman has been eliminated.  There guys are throwing haymakers. Jaden the Heartthrob is out now.  El Rudo barely escapes elimination.  Plunkett eliminates Yuma.

I'm going to offer some real credit.  A lot a battle royals are borderline unwatchable.  To their credit, these guys aren't going through the motions.  They're at least maximizing their minutes. Judais powerbombs Sal Rinauro to the outside. Plunkett is out.  We still have 7 guys in there.  Stanley is out.

The action comes down to Judais, Mims, Hawx and JTG after Slice gets clotheslined out.  All eyes on Judais as he fires away on Hawx. Mims and JTG battle it out.  Mims gets eliminated by Judais.  JTG and Hawx may have formed an alliance.  Boot to JTG's face and Judais hits a clothesline, eliminating Hawx.  JTG and Judasi fire away. Judais misses a boot and JTG with tackles.  Judais with a chokeslam from the 2nd rope.  JTG is staggering and gets sent ot the apron.  Judais has JTG on the 2nd rope.  JTG is trying but a second rope clothesline puts him to the floor.

WINNER: Judais

NWA Women's World Championship: Kamille (champion) vs. Chelsea Green

Both these women had long nights last night. Big fight entrances for this one.  Lockup go behind takedown by Kamile, the challenger reverses it.  Full nelson by Kamille.  Green tries to escape but Kamille holds on.  Kamille with a sit down slam and goes for a leglock full nelson.  Kamille gets a 2.  Green with a rollup for 2. Green with a backslide for 2.  Sunset flip, these 2 reverse and trade 1-2 counts. These 2 are desperate for this win.  Kamille blocks an unprettier and rams her into the buckle.  Kamille stomps her in the corner.  Gut wrench by the champion.  Uppercut by Kamille.  She fires away on Green in the corner.  Samoan drop for 2 by Kamille.  Kamille is frustrated.  Clubbing forearms by the champion.  Neck wrench into elbows by Kamille into a chinlock.  Green with an elbow and kick.  She misses an elbow, Kamille slams the injured wrist into the apron.  Into the guardrail goes Green.

Back in the ring, Kamille with Stomps to the wrist.  Kamille uses the bottom rope to wrench the arm.  KAmille scores a 2 count.  Torture Rack by Kamille. Green escapes and hits a cutter. Kamille is down and the ref starts his count.  Green with forearms and a running clothesline.  Neckbreaker for 2 by Green.  Kamille blocks Green's climb to the top.  Headbutt but Green and a dropkick off the top for 2.  Green charges, back elbow by Kamille and she hits a leg drop for 2.  Swinging neckbreaker by Kamille.  Green avoids a spear and hits a German.  Kamille with a spear, Green makes the rope at 2.  Kamille is now in the deep waters.  No one's escaped the spear.  Rollup by Green, Kamille blocks the unprettier and hits a stomp.  Kamille with the armbar submission. She wraps her legs around Green and Green has no choice but to tap.

WINNER AND STILL NWA WOMEN'S CHAMPION: Kamille.

NWA World Tag Team Championship: Aron Stevens and Kratros (champions) vs. La Rebelion (Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf) w/ Konnan

666 and Stevens kick us of.  Leg trip by Stevens, Wolf runs interference and 666 with a chop.  Elbow by Stevens.  Elbow drop by Stevens.  Wolf tags in and he eats a clothesline.  Kratos tags in and throws Wolf back in.  Kick by Kratos.  Elbow to the back of Wolf's head by Kratos.  Suplex by Kratos for 2.  Stevens tags in and tries a suplex but s thumb to the eye.  Stevens fights out of the corner, Konnan gets poped in the face.  Chop block by 666. Rebelion stomps down Stevens in the corner.  Rebelion is having very quick tag exchanges here.  Dropkicks for 2 by Rebelion.  A punch by 666 sends Stevens to the floor. Wolf sends him into the guard rail and tags in.

Stevens fights back but gets dragged back to the wrong corner.  Rear choke by 666, Stevens elbows out. Dropkick for 2 by 666.  Wolf tags in and hits an elbow off the second rope.  Konnan with a shot while the ref is distracted.  Stevens with a desperate neckbreaker and hits a spear.  He's groggy but can't make the tag as Mecha Wolf pulls Kratos off the apron.  Double suplex and dropkcik for 2 by Rebelion.  Wold and Stevens collide skulls and they're both down.

Stevens finally makes the tag and Kratos lays out La Rebelion with clotheslines and suplexes.  He's taking out both men. Kratos with a pumphandle slam for 2.  Wolf takes out Stevens.  666 with a kick to Kratos but Kratos with a falcon arrow for 2.  Kratos with a right hand takes down Wolf.  Stevens tags in and 666 avoids the doomsday.  Kratos to the outside. Konnans distraction leads to a low blow.  Bestia moonsaults Kratos on the outside and Rebelion hits Mark of the Beast on Stevens for the pin.

NWA World's Championship: Nick Aldis (champion) vs. Trevor Murdoch

Big stipulation here as Murdoch has put his career at stake here.  Murdoch is cashing in the title shot he earned by being on the winning team of the Champions Series.  It's do or die.  Mudoch's jacket in an homage to Harley Race circa 1983.  Big fight intros here.  Aldis attacks Murdoch as he's handing his jacket to hisn family.  Murdoch reverses a whip and they're in the crowd.  The bell has not rung to officially start this.  Murdoch drags him back and Aldis with an eye rake.  Chops by Aldis, he rains forearms. They're slugging it out in the last row.  They're on the stage.  NWA Director PAt Kenney orders them to the ring but Aldis with a spinebuster on the stage.  Mr. Corgan orders Aldis to the ring.  Aldis wants Corgan to punch him.  Bodyslam by Aldis (to Murdoch, not Corgan).  Aldis drags Murdoch down the aisle and the match finally enters the ring. We're officially underway.

Murdoch with right hands, the Chase is enjoying this one.  Aldis with a big boot.  Angle Slam by Aldis for 2. Murdoch ducks a clotheslione but a Thez Press by Aldis.  Into the buckle goes Murdoch.  Chops by Aldis.  Murdoch back drops him to the apron and slams him back into the ring.  Murdoch to the second rope.  He tries a dropkick but Aldis catches him and tries a figure 4.  Murdoch escapes and hits a figure 4 of his own.  Aldis eats a 2 count, and another.  Aldis makes the rope.  Murdoch goes shoulder first into the post.  Knees by Aldis into an abdominal stretch.  Aldis slaps him and hold the ropes for leverage.  Aldis rains elbows into the ribs and grabs the ropes.  Referee Robert King catches him and the hold is broken.  Aldis and King get into a shoving match and Murdoch tries a clothesline but King eats the blow.  He is down.  Spinebuster by Murdoch.  Low blow by Aldis, Murdoch rolls out.

Axehandle by Aldis to the outside. Aldis mocks the Murdoch family.  Aldis sends Murdoch 3 times into the post.  aldis punches out Kyle Davis and sets up a table.  He sets Trevor up across it and goes to the top for an elbow.  He nails the elbow flush.  The Chase is on its feet.  A second referee emerges and Aldis scores a 2 count.  Back elbow and a Destroyer by Murdoch for 2. Murdoch to the top but Aldis sweeps his leg.  Tombstone by Aldis, now he climbs the rope.  Aldis nails the flying elbow for 2.  Aldis to the top, Murdoch with a punch or 4.  Murdoch with a superplex for 2.  There 2 are having a classic.  Aldis avoids the bulldog and he applies the Kingsman Cloverleaf.  Murdoch makes the ropes. They exchange palm strikes.  Murdoch blocks a full nelson and hits a piledriver.  Murdoch nails the top rope bulldog and we have a new champion!

WINNER AND NEW NWA WORLD CHAMPION: Trevor Murdoch

Wow, folks.  That was a war! Ric Flair comes out to applaud the new champion.  The Murdoch family flanks the ring.  Flair takes the mic and tells Murdoch how proud Harley would be of him. Kyle Davis is with the new champion.  He thanks St. Louis, his family, the NWA, Harley Race.  He has no idea what the future holds but he will represent the title with pride.
