Adam Cole vs. Kyle OReilly - Best of Three Falls.
FALL ONE - TRADITIONAL PINFALL & SUBMISSION.
They went right after each other with punches and kicks. Cole was knocked to the floor, where Kyle nailed a flying knee off the apron. Cole was smashed into the stairs and the barricade. He was dumped back into the ring but kicked Kyle as he came through the ropes. Now it was Cole's chance to trash Kyle on the floor.
Cole teased a brainbuster on the ring steps but Kyle reversed it into a suplex on the floor. Kyle caught Cole with a knee to the mid-section against the ropes. He drilled Cole and scored a two count. Kyle went for the anklelock but Cole kicked him off and nailed a leg lariat for a two count. Kyle came back with a discus clothesline for a two count. Cole nailed a superkick and went for a Panama Sunrise but Kyle reversed the attempt and shocked Cole with a pinfall.
O'Reilly -1, Cole - 0.
FALL TWO - STREET FIGHT
The crowd immediately chanted for tables. They battled to the floor. Cole drilled him and set up a chair. He was going to smash Kyle into it but drilled. Kyle worked over Cole and placed him in the chair, sitting. Kyle placed a trash can over his head, then hit a running kick off the apron to the can. Kyle tossed some weapons into the ring and followed Cole into the ring.
Cole went after Kyle's ribs and hurt him. He slammed him into the announcer's table. The referee checked on Kyle to see if he could continue. Cole worked over his ribs and mid-section with the chair. Cole wedged a chair in between the turnbuckles. Kyle fired back but Cole kicked him in the hurt ribs and continued the assault. Kyle tried to prevent a whip out of the corner, holding onto the ropes. Cole whipped him. Kyle ducked and slip down to avoid the chair but ended up hitting the ring post.
On the floor, Cole whipped Kyle into the barricade. Cole brought him back to the ring but Kyle kicked up at the last second. Cole locked him in Britt Baker's finisher. Nice shout-out to Cole's better half. They battled back and forth until both hitting a pump kick at the same time and crashing to the mat. They fought to their feet and brawled. Cole got the better of the exchange and covered Kyle, who got his shoulder up at the last second.
They battled up the aisle to the stage, where Kyle went for a front guillotine choke. Cole was knocked off the ramp to the floor, crashing into the barricade. Cole regained control and tossed Cole back in the ring, but was grabbing his right elbow. Cole set up two chairs and was going to smash Kyle through them but Kyle nailed a DVDR. He went to the top but was caught and slammed through the chairs. Cole nailed Kyle with the Last Shot and scored the pin.
They are tied up.
The cage was lowered to the ring.
FALL THREE IF NEEDED - STEEL CAGE MATCH
Before the cage could be completely lowered, Cole went after Kyle and took him to the outside and powerbombed him on the announcer's table. The medical staff checked on Kyle to see if he could continue but Cole didn't give them a chance, tossing him back in the ring. Kyle was out as Cole demanded they keep lowering the cage.
Cole tossed Kyle into the steel cage. He worked over Kyle but Kyle ducked the Last Shot. Cole worked him over and began climbing the cage. Kyle followed but was kicked down from the cage into the ring several times. After the second time, Cole nailed the Panama Sunrise off the ropes for a close two count. They played it up that Cole made a mistake by not climbing out.
Cole pulled out handcuffs and cuffed Kyle to the cage. Cole drilled him and said he was the King of the Undisputed Era. Kyle snatched him in a heel hook with his free arm and forced Cole to tap.
Your winner, Kyle O'Reilly!
Surprising finish there and a lot of hard work and brutality up and down all three falls.
They played it up as Kyle getting his closure.
They showed a beaten, bruised Ilja Dragonuv in the back. He said the ring general has fallen. Long live Dragonuv.
Backstage, Legado del Fantasma cut a promo. Santos Escobar said he offered Swerve an easy way out but he didn't want it. On Tuesday, they are going to finish Hit Row. He who laughs last, laughs best.
