Match Number Three: Bianca Belair versus Carmella for the Smackdown Women's Championship
Carmella with a rollup for a near fall. Bianca with a rollup for a near fall. Carmella with a kick and she pie faces Bianca. Carmella with punches in the corner. Bianca floats over and hits a drop kick that sends Carmella to the apron. Carmella drops Bianca on the top rope and Carmella with a satellite head scissors. BIanca with a shoulder tackle. Carmella holds on to the ropes to block a KOD. Bianca with a forearm. They both go to the apron and Carmella drops Bianca on the apron and then Carmella gets a near fall. Carmella with a sleeper and Bianca gets back to her feet. Bianca with a back breaker. Carmella sends Bianca into the turnbuckles.
Carmella with a forearm from the apron and she goes up top and hits a cross body but Bianca holds on and rolls through and hits a fallaway slam. Bianca with a handspring moonsault for a near fall. Carmella blocks a suplex and hits an X Factor for a near fall. Carmella with a thrust kick and Bianca blocks another kick. Bianca with a foerarm and KOD for the three count.
Winner: BIanca Belair (retains championship)
Kevin Owens is in the back with Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart and he tries to help them with their tank. Kevin continues to walk and a homeless guy, sorry Baron Corbin stops Kevin and apologizes for what he said last week.
Kevin says Baron brought it upon himself.
Baron asks Kevin if he can forgive him.
Kevin asks Baron if it is the same shirt as last week but Baron says it is a different shirt. Kevin mentions that he has a stain on it.
Kevin gives Baron some money and he tells Baron not to be a jerk to everyone.
Tegan and Shotzi get the cannon to work and it hits Baron in his Corbins. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode show up and take the money from Baron.
Kevin comes over with a chair and Dolph and Roode leave.
Edge makes his way to the ring as we watch what happened between Edge and Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Edge says you have no idea what those reactions mean for him. You know his history. You know what he has done. You know how hard he fought to get this back. He says you know how hard he fought to get you back. If you watched Money in the Bank, I should be the Universal Champion, but I am not. There is one reason why . . . Seth Rollins.
He says he thought he had all bases covered. He had the Mysterios watching his back for the Usos. I thought you would have attacked Roman thinking it would be easier to beat Edge for the title. Seth Rollins' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Seth says Edge is talking about the man he used to be.
Edge tells Seth to shut up and that he is embarrassing himself. Edge promises he won't put his hands on Seth and he wants to have a man to man talk.
Seth says that Edge isn't as stupid as he looks because Edge knows what I could do to you. Seth says he was going to come out here and talk about how much he despises this city, talk about how much he despises people like you and John Cena who want to come back whenever you want, jump the line, and take opportunities from people who earned those opportunities. I was going to talk about all of those things, but the more I thought about it, I agree with the people of Cleveland. I am excited that you are in my ring.
Seth says Edge has been such a scumbag to him that nothing would make me happier than to crush your dreams. I would love to be the one to put an end to your comeback story. If you keep pushing me and pushing me and pushing me. When they talk about the Hall of Fame career of Edge, they aren't going to talk about you, they are going to talk about the man who ended you, Seth Rollins. I had the chance to end you once before, when I brought the Authority back.
I hesitated, but when I get that opportunity again. When I have my boot on the back of your surgically repaired neck, I will not hesitate to pull the trigger.
Edge tells Seth he is a liar and he punches Seth. They exchange punches and Seth wtih a knee and forearms to the back. Edge with a kick and Edgecution. Seth struggles to get back to his feet but he is able to avoid a spear and he falls to the floor.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Toni Storm versus Zelina Vega
They lock up and Vega with a side head lock. Toni with a boot to the head. Toni with a clothesline to Vega against the ropes. Vega goes to the floor and Vega sends Toni into the announce table. Vega kicks Storm and she connects with a knee in the corner. Vega with a running knee for a near fall. Vega goes for a DDT but Storm blocks it and she hits a head butt and both women go down. Storm with a running hip stirke followed by a German suplex for a near fall. Storm sets for Storm Zero but Vega escapes and Vega with a kick and Code Red for a near fall.
Vega kicks Storm in the midsection. Storm gets Vega up and Vega gets to her feet. Storm and Vega with standing switches and Vega takes Storm's belt. Storm with a hip lock gourdbuster for the three count.
Winner: Toni Storm
We take a look at how the Usos became the new Smackdown tag team champions.
Match Number Five: Jimmy Uso (with Jey Uso) versus Dominik Mysterio (with Rey Mysterio)
Dominik with punches but Jimmy goes into the corner. JImmy with a shoulder tackle but Dominik with a hip toss and drop kick. Dominik with a chop to the chest and then he goes to the ropes for an arm drag but Jimmy drops Dominik on the top rope. Jimmy with a kick and Irish whip that sends Dominik sternum first into the turnbuckles. Jimmy gets a near fall. Jimmy chokes Dominik in the ropes. Jimmy with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Jimmy with a reverse chin lock. Dominik with a kick and he sends Jimmy into the ropes but Jey pulls Jimmy to the floor. Rey with a seated splash off the apron to Jey and then Dominik with a double jump cross body onto Jimmy.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dominik with a neck breaker. Dominik is sent to the apron and Dominik with a slingshot senton. Dominik with a kick and he points to the heavens and he hits a suplex and tries to roll through for another one or two, but Jimmy with a kick. Dominik trips Jimmy but the glue on the ropes were not working on that side so JImmy falls onto the other side. Dominik with a 619 and then he goes up top but Jey distract Dominik. Rey stops Jey and Jimmy with a super kick as Dominik comes off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Dominik gets a near fall on Jimmy. Dominik with a drop kick to Jey on the floor. Dominik with a sunset flip but Jimmy blocks it and Jey helps out to get the pinfall.
Winner: Jimmy Uso
After the match, Rey has some words for the referee.
As Jimmy and Jey head to the back, their cousin and chief furniture officer, Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Roman and Paul are in the ring.
Roman wants Cleveland to acknowledge him. Roman talks to people watching at home and he wants you to acknowledge him. Roman says everyone is acknowledging him. John Cena acknowledged him at Money in the Bank, at Raw, and tonight. To be honest, I wanted to acknowledge John. They put a whole new paint job on John. What happened at Money in the Bank? He came out here and put on a nostalgia act. It is the same thing. He came out to the same music, same entrance, same run to the ring, same outfit, same promo, and the same insults. If I wanted that I had to search online for 2005 John Cena. It is like missionary position every single night.
Roman says the Tribal Chief is not interested in that. We don't get motivated or inspired by that. You are right John. I can't see you. I don't wanna see you. I don't need to see you. I have no desire to see you. Guess where we are not going to see you. We are not going to see you in the main event of SummerSlam. My answer to your challenge is . . . NO.
Finn Balor's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Roman says his special counsel is going follow suit and do what John Cena did and acknowledge him.
Balor says he isn't here to acknowledge him, but if you aren't interested in John Cena's challenge, maybe you are interested in mine.
Roman laughs at Finn and Paul says something to Roman.
Roman says the challenge is accepted.
