WWE NXT REPORT: NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH, NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS, TALKING SEGMENTS, THE PARKING LOT CLAIMS ANOTHER, AND MORE

We are in the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett.

Match Number One:  Zoey Stark and Io Shirai versus Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon versus Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez in a Number One Contender Match

Raquel clotheslines Io and Ember and then Raquel with a snap mare to Io.  Io with a drop kick to Moon and she gets a near fall on Gonzalez.  Ember misses punches on Io and they all stand in the ring until Ember and Io drop kick Raquel but Raquel with a double clothesline.  Raquel with snake eyes to Io and Ember with a satellite head scissors to Gonzalez.  Moon with a handspring clothesline to Gonzalez in the corner.  Moon with a Codebreaker on Gonzalez and Shotzi gets a near fall.  Zoey and Dakota fight to the floor while Raquel gets in a few punches on Stark.  Io with an Asai Moonsault onto Kai and Gonzalez who did not see her.  Shotzi with a suicide dive onto Io, Raquel, and Dakota.  Moon with a cannonball onto Kai, Gonzalez, and Blackheart.  

Stark with a cross body onto everyone but Io.  Io gets a near fall on Gonzalez and Stark tags in.  Stark with a knee and elbow to the head.  Shotzi with forearms to Stark and Gonzalez.  Stark with a kick to Shotzi.  Gonzalez with punches and Kai tags in.  Kai with kicks to Shotzi for a near fall.  Stark with a snap mare to Kai followed by a kick to the back and she gets a near fall.  Stark with a forearm to Kai and she sets for a suplex and hits it.  Stark gets a near fall but Blackheart breaks it up.  Shotzi with a suplex to Stark and Gonzalez tags in and gets a enar fall.  Gonzalez with a power slam to Shotzi for a near fall.  Stark with a forearm to Gonzalez and Io tags in.  Io with a rollup on Gonzalez for a near fall.

Io with a kick to the back and a rear chin lock.  Io with a body scissors on Gonzalez.  Shotzi with a sleeper on Io.  Io gets to the ropes but it does not matter in a triple threat match.  Io leans back to get a near fall on Shotzi.  Gonzalez with a clothesline to Io and Shotzi.  Gonzalez with shoulders to Shotzi in the corner.  Gonzalez with a splash to Shotzi and a shoulder.  Gonzalez kicks Io and Gonzalez sends Shotzi face first to the mat.  Raquel with a waist lock but Io rolls through and hits a double stomp.  Stark, Kai, and Moon tag in and Stark with clotheslines and punches.

Stark with a half and half suplex to Kai for a near fall and Moon with a splash onto Kai.  Stark with a sliding knee to Moon and the impact sends Moon into Kai and Stark gets a near fall.  Stark with an Irish whip to Kai and an elbow in the corner.  Io tags in and Stark with an Irish whip and splash.  Io with a splash and Stark with a knee.  Io with a Tiger Feint Kick to Kai and Io goes to the apron and she hits a springboard drop kick on Kai but Shotzi breaks up the cover.   Shotzi with an enzuigiri to Io followed by a knee lift and forearm.  Shotzi with a kick and a wraparound bulldog to Io.  Moon tags in and Moon trips Io and Shotzi with a back senton and Moon with a drop kick for a near fall.

Moon with a back heel kick to Kai and Moon with knees and a rolling elbow to Kai.  Moon kicks Kai and tags in Shotzi.  Shotzi with a back senton into Io and Kai on the apron.  Shotzi with a Tiger Suplex for a near fall and Shotzi with Cattle Mutilation but Gonzalez breaks up the hold.  Everyone attacks Raquel and Kai stops it.  Io and Stark work over Kai and put her on the turnbuckles but Moon and Shotzi stop her.  We have a super duper tower of doom spot set up but Gonzalez with a kick and she tosses Io across the ring.  Raquel gets Moon up and hits a power slam.  Gonzalez kicks Stark and Raquel with a power bomb to Shotzi.  Io with a drop kick to the knee and Stark with a drop kick to Gonzalz.  Kai with a double stomp to Shotzi but Io with a running double knee strike to Kai.  Io with a crossface on Kai but Kai rolls through and hits a thrust kick on Io.

Io with a butterfly back breaker and then Io goes up top for a moonsault and lands on Gonzalez who took the impact for Kai by laying on top of Dakota.  Moon grabs Io and sends Io to the floor but Io pulls Moon to the floor.  Shotzi goes up top and hits a back senton on Raquel but Stark grabs Shotzi and hits a knee to the face.  Moon with Eclipse to Stark.  Kai with a kick to Moon.  Kai with a rollup on Io for a near fall.  Io with a palm strike followed by a moonsault for the three count.

Winners:  Zoey Stark and Io Shirai

Karrion Kross and Scarlett enter the building and Johnny Gargano attacks Kross and then security shows up.  

We are back and we are told that the NXT Breakout Tournament will be coming back.  This year, the winner will earn a title match.

Bronson Reed is in the back and he is asked about the return of the Breakout Tournament.  He says he cannot wait to see who is in the tournament this year.  He says if it wasn't for the Breakout Tournament, he might not be the champion today.

Isaiah Scott and Hit Row show up and he reminds Reed he was in the tournament too.

Top Dolla suggests that Reed put the title on the line.

Isaiah says that Reed should put the title on the line tonight if he is the champion he says he is and put it on the line against him.

NXT Men's Champion Karrion Kross makes his way to the ring and he does not wait for the smoke and lip synching.

Kross addresses Mr. Gargano and says touche.  Last week I got you and this week, you got me.  That is all very cute, but i am willing to die by the sword I live by.  Will you do the same?  Kross says he dares Johnny to come to the ring to see how he fares when he sees the shot coming.

Johnny shows up and he asks Kross if he thinks he is afraid of him.  Last week, the big, bad NXT Champion jumped me from behind like a coward.  This week, I will beat you at your game.  Now you want me to get in the ring with you?  That is my world you are standing in.  I don't have a sword, but I have actual talent.  You might be bigger than me, but I am smarter than you.

Austin Theory attacks Kross from behind and then Gargano with a chop block.  Kross with a Doomsday Saito to Gargano and then Kross sends Gargano's head into the plexiglass.

Kross takes the ring steps and security take them from him.  Many members of security hold Kross but they don't do anything to Gargano and Johnny with a super kick.

Kross tells Joe he is doing a hell of a job.

We are back and the battery is now up to 61%.

Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory are celebrating in the back and they go to the WayMobile and they drive away.

Match Number Two:  Roderick Strong (with Tyler Rust, Hideki Suzuki, and Malcolm Bivens) versus Asher Hale

Strong blocks a kick and sends Hale to the mat.  Strong with a side head lock take down.  Strong with a take down and he tries to get Hale down but Hale keeps his shoulders off the mat.  They lock up and Hale with a kick and Strong blocks a kick.  Hale with a rollup into a heel hook but Strong escapes.  Hale with a reverse chin lock and Strong runs Hale face first into the turnbuckles.  Strong with a uranage back breaker.  Strong with a chop and forearms.  Hale with punches and Strong with a forearm to the back.

Strong chokes Hale in the corner.  Strong with a chop.  Strong with a double underhook take down for a near fall.  Strong with a waist lock. Strong with a back elbow and Hale with punches but Strong with a jumping knee with an arm bar submission and Hale taps out.

Winner:  Roderick Strong

After the match, Bivens says the Diamond Mine is open for business.  This is just the beginning.

Cameron Grimes walks in the back as we go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Cameron Grimes versus Ari Sterling

Grimes goes for the leg and Sterling goes to the ropes to force a break.  Sterling with a side head lock and head scissors but Grimes with a cartwheel.  Grimes with a chop and Sterling with a kick.  Grimes with a rana that sends Sterling to the floor.  Grimes goes to the apron and Sterling blocks a kick and Sterling drops Grimes onto the apron.  Sterling with the Moonsauce onto Grimes.  Sterling with a knee drop and a twisting senton for a near fall.  Sterling with a chop.  Grimes with a knee to the midsection and he connects with running forearms.  Grimes goes for a slam but Sterling escapes and hits an enzuigiri.

Sterling with an elbow in the corner and he goes to the apron and kicks Grimes in the back of the head.  Sterling goes up top and misses the shooting star double stomp.  Grimes with Cave In for the three count.

Winner:  Cameron Grimes

After the match, LA Knight comes out and gives Grimes a mocking congratulations and says that no one gave a damn.  Knight says he sees a natural born loser.  

Grimes tells Knight that he sucks.  If you want to talk about Ted DiBiase, you come in the ring and talk about it.  Grimes says he wanted that championship to carry the legacy.  You just wanted some bling.  How about if I take it from you next week.

Knight asks Grimes if he wants this title and fight him for it.  Knight says Grimes doesn't deserve it.  Knight says he has something for Grimes.  Since the title wields a lot of power and he says there is one piece missing to the puzzle.  Knight says if you are so hot to get this title and him, the title is on the line, but when you lose, you become my butler.

Grimes says he has no problem doing that because he will be leaving a champion next week.

Kyle O'Reilly walks in the back as we go to commercial.
