CAN KROSS HOLD ON AGAINST FOUR OTHER MEN, TITLE TIME, WHO WILL HOLD THE MILLION DOLLAR BELT, CAN XIA LI TAKE THE NEXT STEP, THE CHAMPS PUT THEIR TITLES ON THE LINE AGAINST HEELS THAT PUT NOTHING ON THE LINE: FULL NXT TAKEOVER IN YOUR HOUSE BLOG

Knight screwed up and Grimes took control with tons of kicks.  They are taking big ass bumps.

Grimes say he wants the gold and went out to the entrance way and got what looks like a Million Dollar ladder.  He set it up and, of course, slowly climbed.  He was almost at the belt when Knight caught him and they fought.  Down went Knight, but he then pushed the ladder and Grimes went down.  They are both trying to power up.  It’s not easy.

LA is up first.  He looks fresh, as Wade said.  He is pounding Grimes.  He set up a ladder on the entrance way.  He feel off the stage and Grimes kicked him in the face.  Knight hid behind Ted’s security and then nailed Ted.  Grimes is a pure babyface.  If he wins, Ted has to be one too.  Grimes did a splash off of the tower after doing some John Morrison stuff to get on it off of a ladder.  He was almost at the case when Knight grabbed him.  He tried to power bomb Grimes to the floor when he reversed and hit a rana.  Grimes went up but Knight pushed him off the ladder onto another ladder, Knight wins.

They worked hard and Grimes was clearly the babyface here so it would have made no sense if he won.  I am not sure where they go from here but if Grimes feuds with Knight and beats him, he should say he doesn’t want Ted’s belt.

After the match, Ted took the belt, kissed it and gave it to LA Knight.He got the shooting pyro in the ring.  Knight definitely needed the win, and the belt, more than Grimes did so it was the right call booking wise.

Hit Row came in and promo’d on Todd.

Pete Dunne and Karrion Kross are fighting in the back.  They have been broken up.

Raquel Gonzalez defends her NXT Title against Ember Moon next.

Challenger was out first.  The champ is with her buddy, Dakota Kai.  Moon is started quickly.  Kai got involved though.  Will Shotzi come out and even the odds?

Raquel has been working over the challenger.  She keeps trying to come back but without much luck.

And then, she came back a bit.  Lots of kicks and punches.  Code Red.  Two count.  Ember wiped her out over the announce table.  She has the champ on the ropes.  Two Count only.  They went back and forth.  Moon hit double knees off of the top.  Then she hit the Eclipse but Kai put Raquel’s leg on the ropes.  That brought the no so hurt Shotzi out to attack her.  They both went to the back.  Now it’s just the two women in the match.  Moon hit a DDT from the apron to the walk way.  It took her a while to get back in the ring and it gave the champ time to recover.  That let the champ find a way to come back and hit snake eyes and the one arm power bomb for the pin.

July 6 we get the Great American Bash on NXT on USA.

Time for Karrion Kross to defend his NXT Title against four other men.

Gargano is out.  Then Kyle.  Then Pete.  Then Cole.  And finally the Champ.  His entrance is great.

Early on it was each gut trying to take on the champ and nor being able to take hime down.  While it happened the other guys just waited on the floor for their turn I guess.  Cole was in last and then the other three attacked him.  They let Kross attack him and then they all came in.  It’s all about Kross’ power early.

Kross took out everyone and called for Cole to fight him.  They faced off outside and that allowed Johnny and Dunne to come after him.  They kicked him through the front door of the the In Your House.

That left Cole and Kyle to fight in the ring.  Cole got a two.  Now they are all back in the ring, except Kross. He will hulk up soon enough.  They are all fighting it out amongst each other.  Kross is still out.

Kross is back.  He killed Kyle. The Cole.  Then Johnny.  And Pete.  It’s Kross and Johnny.  Down goes Gargano.  F5, two count only.  Johnny went flying.  He hit Kyle with a tope that didn’t look like it ended well.  It turned into him and Cole for a while. Because of all of the people involved this doesn’t have a match feel, more like just all action.

They are all in the ring and Kross is throwing the other four around.

But now they are getting shots in on the champ.  Cole and Kyle actually worked together to powerbomb Kross on the announce table and it didn’t break.  The champ is out again.

The other four are trying to poach the Title.  Cole got a two on Kyle.  Cole is trying to poach the Title off of anyone he can.  Now Johnny is in trying to do the same but Kyle broke it up.

It was about each guy trying to steal the belt with the Champ out.

Kross came alive and Dunne called for him to come in and fight.  He did.  Bitter End.  Two count only.  Triangle. The other guys broke it up.  Kross is back and he tossed everyone but Dunne.  He put the choke on Pete but got his fingers broken.  Johnny came in and got a two.  Kross put the choke on Johnny.  Cole broke it up.  Kyle nailed Cole and hit the knee from the top.  Cole kicked him when he had a two on Kross.  Kyle locked a submission on Cole.  Kross came up and choked Kyle.  He let go of the move on Cole, who rolled out.  Kross gets the win by choke on Kyle.  The largest crowd in CWC history didn’t make any noise for the finish.

The match went 100 miles an hour which was great if you like all action.  If want it to tell a good story?  Well that is pretty hard with five people in a match.  The story was Kross kept coming back with his power.  It was good for him.  For the other four?  Not so much.  I hope they have someone lined up to come in and take him on because this doesn’t have the NXT UK feel where there are a few guys who could maybe beat WALTER.

In the back, McKenzie wanted Mr. Regal’s take on the show.  He took her outside and he said he has been here 7 years and never seen this much bedlam.  He thinks it’s time for a change.

So, they just went 100 percent WWE and ended the PPV with a “tune in to TV next week for the follow up”.

I am not much for rating the best and worst shows but right now, I can say this was my least favorite of all of the Takeovers.
