WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: TWO CHANCES . . . SAME RESULT, ZAYN AND OWENS AREN'T DONE, A SQUAD OF ONE, AND THE CROWN FEUD CONTINUES

We are in Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Michael Cole and Pat McAfee.

We begin with Roman Reigns making his way to the ring with Paul Heyman as we wait a few minutes for him to get ready to speak.

Roman is handed the microphone and he waits for the chants to stop.

Roman says he believes in being very direct about how he is feeling.  Roman says last Friday, by the end of the night, he was not happy.  With the counsel from a wise man and a full week to chew on it, I changed my position on this tag team championship opportunity that my cousins, the Usos, have tonight.  It is no secret I am the centerpiece here and it all revolves around me.  I am a giver.  I allowed this to happen.  Let's be very clear.  Jimmy, you said it all last week and I am sure you are feeling it right now.  You said you were going to win, you better win.  Roman says, let's not waste any more time since I have a lot on my plate.  Roman tells the Wise Man to get his cousins.

The Usos' music plays and Jimmy and Jey Uso make their way to the ring.

Jey says hello to his cousin and 'boss'.  

Roman tells Jimmy it is his turn to acknowledge him.

Jimmy says he thought he did already.  At Hell in a Cell, when you choked me and my brother out.  That is not what it is about tonight.  It is about becoming 7 time champions and locking down the tag team division.  

Roman nods his head and he sighs.  He wishes them luck.  He says you called the shot and he gets that.  Roman says he gets the job done.  If you say you are going to win, make sure you win.  You know this.  Our whole family is watching.  Get the job done and bring me the titles once it is over.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One:  Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships

Jimmy and Dominik start things off and they lock up.  Jimmy with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Dominik with a drop kick and arm drag into an arm bar.  Rey tags in and Dominik gingerly power bombs Rey onto Jimmy for a near fall.  Jey tags in and they hit a double back elbow and a double elbow drop for a near fall.  Jey with a back breaker and he gets a near fall.  Rey with a head scissors to Jey and Rey with a knee.  Jimmy tags in and Jey with a flapjack while Jey drops Rey on the top rope for a near fall.

Roman watches on his monitor in his dressing room.

Jimmy with a reverse chin lock.  Jimmy with a dragon whip for a near fall.  Jimmy chokes Rey in the ropes and Jey with a punch while the referee warns Jimmy.  Jey tags in and they make a wish on Rey.  Rey rolls to the floor and Jey goes to the floor.  Jey with a back drop driver onto the ringside barrier.  They return to the ring and Jimmy tags in.  Jey ties up Rey and Jimmy with a kick.  Jimmy stands on the abdomen and stomps on the chest.  Jimmy with a reverse chin lock and Rey goes for an O'Connor Roll.  Jey tags in and Rey kicks Jey off the apron.  Rey sends Jimmy to the floor and then Rey goes for a sliding splash but Jey catches Rey and hits a Samoan Drop onto the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jey kicks and chokes Rey in the corner.  Jey with a running hip into the corner.  Jimmy tags in and he goes up top and he hits a double sledge after Jey gives Rey a back breaker.  Jimmy holds Rey and Jey with a kick to the midsection.  Rey with a drop toe hold to Jey into the turnbuckles.  Jimmy tags in and he keeps Super Dom from tagging in.  Jey with a tag and he hits a diving head butt.  Rey is sent into the turnbuckles.  Jey misses a splash and hits the ring post, but Jimmy tags in.  Rey with a kick to Jimmy and he kicks Jey while Jimmy goes shoulder first into the turnbuckles.  Rey crawls across the ring and Dominik tags in.

Dominik with a suicide dive onto Jimmy and Jey.  Dominik sends Jimmy back in and hits a springboard cross body for a near fall.  Dominik with a neck breaker to Jey but Jimmy with a thrust kick.  Jimmy with an Irish whip and Donminik floats over.  Dominik with a double jump tornado DDT for a near fall.  Jimmy crotches Dominik and connects with a head butt.  Dominik punches Jimmy but Jey tags in.  Dominik leaps over Jimmy and Rey is not there for the tag.  Jey with a Samoan drop for a near fall.  

Jimmy tags in and they set for a double super kick but miss and then they both go over the top rope when Dominik drops down.  Rey with a seated splash to Jey but Jimmy with a super kick.  JImmy with an enzuigiri to Dominik.  Dominik with a drop toe hold but Jimmy gets off the ropes and hits a super kick.  Jimmy goes for a splash but Dominik gets his boots up and gets the three count with a rollup.

Winners:  Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio (Retain Championship)

After the match, Jimmy claims that his shoulder was up and the replay shows that the shoulder is up.

We see Roman in his dressing room and he wants them brought to him . . . NOW.

We see Seth Rollins in the back with Kayla Braxton and they will talk about the Cesaro situation.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jimmy tells Roman that they were cheated because his shoulder was up.

Roman says they lost to a child and worst of all, you called your shot and you said you would win.  What did I say about this representation.  All I care about is that there is still time left in this show.  You better go to Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, or whoever else and fix this.  Before you go, I want you to understand my position.  You are six time tag team champions who made Wrestlemania once.  In less than a year, Jey closed the show, held his head high for the world to see.  He asks Jimmy if he understands his position when he looks at Jey.

Jey tells Roman he isn't Jimmy and Roman says the way things are going, it doesn't matter.

Kayla is with Seth Rollins.  She asks him about what he did to Cesaro a few weeks ago.

Kayla mentions that Cesaro always comes back.

Seth says that he sees what Kayla is trying to do.  He says he doesn't owe her or the WWE Universe anything.  Not my time or an answer to your leading question.  

Kayla says it does not take away the fact that Cesaro will not back down.  What happens when Cesaro comes back to Smackdown.

Seth takes the microphone and he hands it to Kayla.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins talk about the Mysterios and Chad Gable shows up.  

Chad wants to talk about a downward trend that he is seeing.  He says that profits are down.  Montez, you have lost at least six inches on your frog splash.  Angelo, your Sky High looks like a grounded medium.  Look what I have done for Otis.  You need professional management from an Olympian.  

Montez says they are insulted and Angelo and Montez tell Chad no.

Carmella says that you have never seen anyone like her.  She says she is gorgeous and fire.  She is the most beautiful woman in WWE.  You will see that when I am in the ring with Liv Morgan.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are in the office and the Usos break in. Adam says the referee made a mistake but his decision is final.  Sonya says they will take the matter under advisement and let them know of their decision.

Liv says it is so cute that Carmella says she is the best looking in WWE.  She says that Carmella is a 7 but she can make her a ten with a Liv Morgan Makeover.

Match Number Two:  Carmella versus Liv Morgan

Carmella pie faces Liv a few times and Carmella runs away from Liv and then Liv pulls Carmella to the floor and into the ringside barrier.  Liv sends Carmella into the ringside barrier again.  Liv sends Carmella into the apron many times.  Carmella with a kick to Liv.  Carmella with elbows in the corner.  Carmella with a snap mare and she gets a near fall.  Liv with an Irish whip and elbow into the corner but she misses a second one when Carmella move.  Liv with boots to the back and she sends Carmella into the turnbuckles.  Liv gets a near fall.

Carmella sends Liv to the mat when Liv gets caught in the ropes.  Carmella with Code of Silence and Liv taps out.

Winner:  Carmella

After the match, Carmella demands to be called the most beautiful woman in all of WWE.

Smackdown Women's Champion Bianca Belair walks in the back as we go to commercial.
