WWE NXT REPORT: KROSS/BALOR II, MONET DEBUTS, REED SPEAKS, GRIMES AND DIBIASE FACE/OFF, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2021-05-25 22:02:00

We are back and we see Karrion Kross preparing in black and white.

Cameron Grimes makes his way to the ring.

Ted DiBiase makes his way to the ring.

Grimes says everyone wants to know why?  Grimes says he wasn't always rich.  He didn't have this lavish lifestyle.  I started to climb a little bit and then you showed up and embarrassed me and started outbuying me.  I look up to you.  I saw, because of you, with money, I could treat people terribly and people would like me.  A kid can dribble a basketball and I could kick it across the arena because I have money.  Grimes says it is true that you should never meet your idols.

Ted says he likes Cameron.  He says they have a lot more in common than you think.  Ted says he put Grimes through all that hell because I see a little bit of myself in you?  Why am I here?  I am looking for that one individual who embodies everything the Million Dollar Man stands for.  This is not all about the money or being able to humiliate people.  It is about performance in the ring.  Ted says Cameron's got it, but since you became rich, you have lost your focus.

LA Knight's music plays and he makes his way to the stage.

Knight wants to talk to you.  He says he hears Ted talking about his million dollar legacy and Knight says he sees a million dollar opportunity.  He says a man who gets the job done is walking down this ramp.  The man who didn't just strike it lucky with virtual money but is walking, talking gold.

Grimes tells Knight not to get in the ring, but Ted says to let Knight talk.

Knight says Grimes is right.  He is not a millionaire yet, but he can put the last piece of the puzzle and take someone who is the right person to continue the million dollar legacy.

Ted says he is aware of who LA Knight is.  He knows that Knight has had a lot of success.  Ted says that Knight could become a megastar.  He says Knight has a million dollar body and mindset.

Grimes says we get that Knight has a million dollar body but he is no Cameron Grimes.  Grimes tells Knight to get out of the ring or he will kick Knight's ass to the moon.

Knight with a kick and a snap mare driver.  Knight leaves the ring.

Ted stands over Grimes and he tells Grimes he is never going to get it.  Ted laughs.

Bronson says fourteen years to get here.  It wasn't an easy road to become the North American champion.  It wasn't fourteen years of climbing the mountain.  It was fourteen years of falling and getting back up and falling and getting back up.  He says he had a lot of doubters.  There were a lot of people who told him no.  This title is proof that you don't have to take no for an answer.  If you grind it out, you will become a champion.  Now that I have it, good luck trying to take it from me.  If you think you have a shot, I had a big mountain to climb, but you have a colossal mountain to climb.

Legado del Fantasma makes their way to the ring and they applaud Reed.  Escobar says that Bronson has a tele novella story coming.  He brought tears to their eyes.  Escobar says he can't relate to anything you just said.  I was born a champion.  I wasn't even born to belong in this business.  This business belongs to me.  After your victory, something caught my eye.  It wasn't your colossal mass, it was the North American title.  I am the Emperor of Lucha Libre.  I run the bingo.  That is why I took the Cruiserweight TItle.  I see the North American title and I see USA and Mexico.  Wilde asks about Canada.  Escobar tells Wilde that Canada doesn't count.

The North American title represents Mexico so it belongs to me.  Your celebration is over . . . mate.  I will do what I do best and that is take what is mine.
