WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: IF YOU LIKE DANIEL BRYAN AND CESARO . . . THIS IS A SHOW FOR YOU, REGINALD IS BACK, TWO TITLE MATCHES NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We are back and Adam Pearce is with Daniel Bryan and Daniel asks if Cesaro is getting his chance.

Adam says he cannot snap his fingers and make it happen, but he will try.  Bryan tells Adam to do more than try.

Match Number Three:  Kevin Owens versus Apollo Crews (with Commander Azeez) for the Intercontinental Championship

They lock up and go into the corner and Owens with a clean break.  Owens with a single leg take down and he works on the ankle and gets a near fall.  Owens with a side head lock.  Owens tells Crews not to pull his hair even though it is nice and soft.  Crews gets back to his feet and Owens takes Crews back ot the mat.  Crews with a rollup for a near fall.  Owens with a side head lock.  Owens with a shoulder tackle but Crews stays on his feet.  Owens with a drop kick and chops.  Owens with forearms and punches in the corner.  Crews with a kick and side head lock.

Owens with a back elbow and back senton.  Owens with a clothesline that sends Crews over the top rope to the floor.  Owens sets for a dive to the floor but Azeez blocks Owens' path.  Crews trips Owens on the apron.  Crews with a suplex for a near fall.  Crews with kicks in the corner.  Owens is sent to the floor by Crews.  Owens tries to Irish whip Crews into the apron but Crews with a moonsault and he lands on his feet and Owens with a super kick.  Owens with a swanton for a near fall.

Sami Zayn's music plays and he dances his way down the ramp as we go to commercial.

We are back and Owens sets for a superplex but Crews with head butts to stop Owens.  Owens with an elbow.  Crews with punches and head butts to Owens to send him to the mat.  Crews goes up top and he leaps over Owens and Crews walks into a super kick for a near fall.  Owens with a chop and Crews with a hot shot to Owens followed by a clothesline for a near fall.   Crews with a waist lock but Owens holds on to the ropes.  Owens with an elbow.  Crews with a kick and enzuigiri followed by a German suplex.  Crews holds on and hits another German suplex.  Crews with a third German suplex for a near fall.  

Crews misses a splash into the corner and Owens with a German suplex followed by a cannonball.  Owens with another cannonball to Crews for a near fall.  Crews escapes a stunner and Crews with an arm drag.  Owens with a super kick and he hits a pop up power bomb for a near fall.  Owens goes up top and Crews rolls to the floro and Owens with a frog splash off the apron onto Crews.  They return to the ring and Azeez gets on the apron and Crews with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Apollo Crews (retains championship)

After the match, Owens gives Crews a stunner but Azeez with the Nigerian Nail to Owens.

Sami Zayn enters the ring while Azeez and Crews leave.  Sami does his dance type maneuvers over Kevin.

Kayla Braxton is in the back with Paul Heyman.

Kayla asks Paul if Roman is going to accept Cesaro's challenge.  Paul says that Kayla is as probing as she is beautiful.  Paul says he likes Cesaro.  He respects and loves Cesaro in a professional way.  He became a star using only one name.  Paul says Cesaro is his favorite Cesaro.  Paul says that customer satisfcation is the number one thing on the Island of Relevancy.  Paul gives a spoiler.  By the end of Smackdown, everyone will hear from their chief and he will answer the challenge.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Megan Morant is outside Apollo Crews' locker room and he emerges.  He is celebrating his victory and he says his royal ancestors are jumping for joy over his victory.  Who knew that hope could be cracked just like a larynx.  Let this stop anybody foolish enough to daydream about this . . . 

Big E attacks Apollo Crews from behind as officials and agents pull him away.

Commander Azeez eventually emerges from the locker room to check on Crews.

We take a look at Aleister Black.

He says he wants you to know the truth.  Chapter One, the Dragon.  He says he attended many funerals as a child.  Father would bring him to these celebrations of life and death.  He could do this because he was too young to understand.  Father became more cold and distant.  He was not taught how to defeat the dragon, but to become the dragon.  Father was right.  You are the monsters and I am nothing like you and I will never help you.  You reveal the true rotten nature of man.  You turned your children into bigger monsters.  What you do is vile.  You should be scorched from the Earth for more fertile things.

Kayla Braxton is in the back with Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.  Kayla congratulates them on their victory last week.  She asks who wins between Alpha Academy and The Mysterios.  Dolph says he is going with Alpha Academy and then Kayla asks who is next.

The Street Profits show up and say that Roode and Ziggler got many chances so they are next.  Ziggler tells them to get to the back of the line.

Bayley shows up to separate them and she tells Kayla that she is the ultimate Role Model.  She wants to talk about her opponent at Backlash, Bianca Belair.  She saw how nervous Bianca was in the back when she started on the roster and she worked with Bianca and helped take the training wheels off.  She never got a thank you.  Bayley calls Bianca rude and spoiled.  Bayley says she will get her spot back at the top of the women's division.

Montez Ford shows up and he tells Bianca he hates to be that guy and tells Bianca about what Bayley was saying.  Bianca says she will be right there.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bianca tells Bayley she can say it to her face right now. 

Bayley says she wanted to congratulate Bianca on making history and it will be an honor to be Bianca's first challenger.  You showed the WWE that you are the EST.  Bayley says the way you picked up Sasha over your head and carried her up the stairs.  It will be an honor to wrestle you at Backlash.

Bayley walks away.

Bianca says she did not expect that.

Bayley comes back and she starts laughing because Bianca bought what she said.

Match Number Four:  Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio versus Otis Dozovic and Chad Gable

Chad and Dominik start things off and Otis wants to start and he hits a shoulder tackle and then slams Dominik.  Otis misses a splash and Dominik with punches.  Otis with a clothesline.  Otis picks up Dominik and he hits a standing power slam.  Otis goes to the turnbuckles but Rey pulls Dominik to the floor.  Otis with a running double clothesline and Chad with a gutbuster from a fireman's carry position to Rey.  Otis and Dominik return to the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Gable gets a near fall.  Dominik with a shoulder to Otis on the apron and Dominik with a rollup for a near fall.  Gable with a Tiger Suplex for a near fall.  Otis tags in and punches Dominik.  Otis with a double sledge to Dominik.  Otis with a slam and elbow drop.  Otis with an Irish whip and he hits a shoulder in the corner.  Chad tags in and he connects with shoulders.  Otis tags in and he hits a splash on Dominik.  Chad tags in and he gets a near fall.  Gable with an arm bar.  

Gable with a belly-to-belly suplex and he holds on and hits a second one.  Gable goes for a German suplex but Dominik lands on his feet and hot shots Gable.  Rey tags in and Rey with punches.  Rey with a kick and head scissors take down.  Rey with Code Red for a near fall.  Gable with an Irish whip and he misses a shoulder in the corner and Gable hits the ring post.  Rey goes up top but Gable with a forearm and he gets Rey on his shoulders.  Rey counters into a Frankensteiner and Rey gets a near fall.  Dominik tags in and Dominik sends Chad to the apron and Rey goes through the legs to pull Gable to the floor.  Dominik with a sliding sunset flip power bomb into the ringside barrier.

Chad is sent into the ropes and Otis is sent into the announce table by Dominik.  Rey with a 619 and splash for the three count.

Winners:  Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mystero

After the match, Cesaro makes his way to the ring with Daniel Bryan.  They acknowledge each other as The Mysterios go to the back and Bryan and Cesaro go to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that Big E gets his rematch against Apollo Crews next week.

Cesaro and Daniel are in the ring and Cesaro tells Roman that he is out here and we are waiting for your answer.

He says you can either come out here and give us your answer or we can go back there and get an answer.

Roman Reigns' music plays and he makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso.

Roman asks Cesaro if he is going to challenge him.  Who are you?  You don't deserve it.  You didn't earn it.  I am the tribal chief, the head of the table.  The answer is no because you will never be on my level.  The Universal Champ issues the challenge around here.  The challenge . . . goes to you.  He tells Daniel Bryan he never liked him and he will never like him.  You get one more chance at this.  This is as close as you will get to it.  You will get one more title opportunity next week.

Roman asks Daniel what does he say.

Cesaro tells Daniel he has to take it.

Roman tells Daniel if . . . when you lose, I don't ever want to see you again.  I want you to disappear.  I don't want to see your face on my show.  I don't want you on Smackdown again.  

Daniel tells Roman he accepts.

We go to credits.
