Match Number Eight:  :Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) versus Daniel Bryan with Guest Enforcer Edge

Bryan goes for the leg when Roman tries to back Bryan into the corner.  They lock up and Roman backs Bryan into the corner.  Bryan gets out of the corner and he avoids Roman.  They lock up and Roman backs Bryan into the corner and Roman with a punch on the break.  Bryan goes for the ankle and a take down but Roman gets to the ropes.  Bryan tries to get into Roman's head and he goes for the ankle and Roman stays on his feet and he gets to the ropes.  Bryan and Roman with a test of strength and Roman with the advantage but Bryan is able to get Roman down for an arm bar and Roman gets to the ropes.  

Roman tells Bryan to hit him and Bryan with punches.  Bryan with kicks and Roman with a side head lock and take down.  Bryan with a hammer lock and knee to the back.  Bryan with a hammer lock and he stands on the other arm and gets Roman down for a moment.  Roman with a head butt and punches.  Roman with a punch and he sends Bryan into the turnbuckles.  Bryan with a drop kick and wrist lock and he works on the shoulder.  Bryan with a kick to the leg and he continues to work on the arm.  Roman backs Bryan into the ropes and Roman with clotheslines in the corner.  Bryan with kicks to the leg.  Roman with an Irish whip and Bryan flips out of the corner and Roman with a tilt-a-whirl slam for a near fall.

Roman with a suplex.  Bryan goes for the leg against the ropes.  Roman with an elbow.  Bryan with punches but Roman with kicks.  Roman kicks Bryan.  Roman with a side head lock and Bryan with elbows.  Roman sends Bryan to the apron and Roman with a forearm to knock Bryan to the floor.  Roman sends Bryan shoulder first into the ringside barrier.  Bryan with European uppercuts and kicks but Roman sends Bryan into the ring post.  Roman sends Bryan back into the ring and gets a near fall.  Roman with a suplex for a near fall.

Roman with a clothesline into the corner.  Roman tells Bryan to acknowledge him.  Roman with an Irish whip and he misses a clothesline and Bryan sends Roman into the turnbuckles with a drop toe hold.  Bryan with kicks to the chest.  Bryan with a running drop kick into the corner.  Bryan puts Reigns on the turnbuckles and Roman blocks a Frankensteiner with one arm.  Roman with a Boston Crab on Bryan.  Roman pulls Bryan into the center of the ring but Bryan with a rollup for a near fall.  Bryan with a flying clothesline and both men are down.  Bryan with kicks to the leg but Roman with a knee.  Bryan with a kick and he drops down and Roman goes over the top rope to the floor.  Bryan with a pescado and Roman catches Bryan.  Bryan gets to his feet and sends Roman into the ring post and hits a running knee off the apron.

They get back into the ring before the ten count.  Bryan goes up top and hits a knee to the arm.  Bryan goes up top and hits a missile drop kick.  Bryan gets a near fall.  Bryan with kicks to the chest and shoulder.  Bryan with more kicks to all parts of the body.  Bryan has the round kick blocked and Roman runs Bryan into the turnbuckles.  Roman with an uppercut and Bryan goes down.  Roman runs his Thanos Glove across the face.  Roman with knees in the corner and the referee warns Roman.  Bryan kicks the arm and he goes for the legs.  Roman gets Bryan up but Bryan with a head scissors and round kick to the head.  Bryan with another round kick and Bryan gets a near fall.  

Bryan with boots to the head and upper chest.  Bryan with the Yes Lock.  Roman reaches for the ropes while Paul's jaw is about to hit the mat.  Bryan blocks the arm from getting to the ropes and Bryan reapplies the Yes Lock.  Roman pulls the arms apart and Roman is able to connect with forearms.  Roman with elbows and then he picks up Bryan for a power bomb and he gets a near fall.  Roman runs into a kick and then Bryan with a flying knee to the referee when Roman moves.  Roman with a spear and Edge comes into the ring to make the count but Bryan kicks out.  

Roman has some words for Edge and he yells at Bryan.  Roman with forearms to Bryan and Bryan with a triangle on Roman.  Roman gets Bryan up and Bryan with punches to Roman and Bryan with the Yes Lock.  Jey Uso super kicks Edge and Daniel Bryan.  Jey checks on Roman and then Uso leaves the ring and he gets a chair.  Jey sends Edge shoulder first into the ring post.  Jey swings and misses when he tries to hit Bryan.  Bryan with a flying knee to Uso.  Bryan grabs the chair and hits Jey with it many times.  Bryan tries to hit Roman with the chair but he misses and hits Edge with it.  Roman with a Superman punch.

Roman goes for a spear but Bryan moves and applies the Yes Lock.  Roman starts to pass out and Roman is tapping but there is no referee to see it.  Edge hits Bryan with the chair and he does the same to Roman.  Edge says this is mine.

Edge leaves the ring and walks to the back.  

A new referee comes to the ring and the match continues.  Roman covers Bryan and gets the three count.

Winner:  Roman Reigns (retains Championship)
