WWE NXT REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, TWO TITLE MATCHES NEXT WEEK, A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We start off with a look back at what happened last week with Adam Cole, Finn Balor, and Roderick Strong.

We are in the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Wade Barrett, Beth Phoenix, and Vic Joseph.

We see what happened yesterday between Ciampa and the tag champs to set up tonight's match.

We see Tommaso Ciampa walking in the back and as he meets up with Timothy Thatcher, we see Marcel Barthel in the doorway.

Match Number One;  Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch versus Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher in a Non Title Match

Burch and Thatcher start things off and Thatcher with a side head lock take down.  Thatcher with a double wrist lock.  Burch backs Thatcher into the ropes and Thatcher with a clean break.  They lock up and Burch with a full nelson and snap mare.  Thatcher with an arm bar.  Thatcher with an elbow drop to the arm.  They lock up and Burch and Thatcher exchange European uppercuts.  Thatcher with a front face lock and Ciampa tags in and punches Burch.  Lorcan tags in and he applies an arm bar.  Ciampa blocks a chop and he chops Lorcan.  Lorcan with European uppercuts and a side head lock.  Ciampa goes for an O'Connor Roll but Lorcan holds on to the ropes.  Lorcan with a side head lock and take down.  Ciampa with a waist lock and Lorcan with a standing switch.

CIampa with an elbow and a knee that knocks Lorcan off the apron.  Burch goes to the floor and Thatcher with a running European uppercut.  Lorcan with a rollup for a near fall.  Ciampa with a clothesline to Lorcan and a knee to Burch on the apron.  Thatcher tags in and he hits an uppercut as Ciampa elevates Lorcan.  Thatcher with a reverse chin lock.  Lorcan fish hooks Thatcher to escape and he clips Thatcher.  Burch tags in and Thatcher kicks Burch and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Lorcan.  Burch is the legal man and he clotheslines Thatcher. 

Thatcher rolls to the floor and he holds his neck.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Lorcan with a single leg crab on Thatcher.  Thatcher kicks Lorcan away but Burch tags in and he stops Thatcher.  Thatcher kicks Burch away and tags in Ciampa.  Ciampa with a series fo clotheslines to Lorcan and Burch followed by clotheslines into the corner on both men.  Ciampa with a flying double clothesline.  Ciampa with forearms to Burch and Thatcher tags in.  Thatcher with European uppercuts in the corner.  Ciampa tags back in.  Ciampa with chops to Burch.  Thatcher tags back in.  Thatcher with a front face lock suplex.

Thatcher with a sleeper on Burch and Lorcan kicks Thatcher but Thatcher holds on to the sleeper.  Ciampa kicks Lorcan and then they both connect with many forearms across the chest.  Lorcan tries to help Burch block a German suplex and Lorcan tags in and knocks Ciampa off the apron and follows with a clothesline.  Thatcher is held by Burch and Ciampa kicks Lorcan.  Lorcan with a half and half suplex to Thatcher and Ciampa slaps Ciampa.  Burch with a head butt to Ciampa and Thatcher with a kick to Burch.

We see Imperium on the stage and Thatcher stops trying to make the tag.  Lrocan tags in and he knocks Ciampa off the apron.  Lorcan and Burch with the elevated DDT for the three count.

Winners:  Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan

After the match, Ciampa asks Thatcher what happened.

Roderick Strong walks in the back and we go to commercial.

We are back and Roderick Strong is in the ring.  

He tells Adam Cole to get his ass out here.  It is no surprise that if any single one of us ever meant a thing to you a little bit, please get out here right now.

Instead of Adam Cole, Finn Balor's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.  

Finn Balor asks Roddy when will he learn that Adam Cole is not going to come out for you.  Do you think Adam is going to give you an explanation.

Strong says he finds it funny.  The Undisputed Era was doing perfectly fine until you showed up.  This whole thing is your fault.

Balor tells Strong it ain't his fault.  The reason your so called brotherhood fell apart was over this title.  Balor says he knows how to get Adam Cole out here.  NEXT WEEK, FINN BALOR VERSUS ADAM COLE FOR THE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP.

Finn tells Roddy he will never be a leader.  He will be a follower.  Until you get a little more greedy and selfish and gets a killer instinct like the Prince . . . 

Strong attacks Balor but Balor gets control of the situation until officials get into the ring.

Vic mentions the situation with the Way.

We go to Gargano family counseling.

Austin tells Johnny this doesn't look like Chuck E Cheese.

The therapist says that she likes to meet individually.

Austin says he doesn't have a Dexter Lumis problem, it was a vacation.  Candice says that being kidnapped for three days is not a vacation.  Indi says it could be a good thing depending on the guy.  Austin says it was just two dudes having a good time.  Johnny wants to know what Indi is doodling.

Johnny sees that she wrote Mrs. Indi Wrestling Lumis.  

Johnny says that was a Christmas present and Indi ruined Christmas.

Johnny wants to know why Dexter Lumis is not in jail.

The therapist says Johnny's hostility towards Dexter is opening up some personal issues.

Johnny says that she is trying to make it about him.  He is not here to be therapeed on.  Austin is the one who should be therapeed on.

The therapist tells Johnny to leave and he calls her unprofessional as the door is slammed in his face.

Johnny says he will be out there for them.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cameron Grimes says that if he is going to change things, he needs to change thing at the bottom.  The CWC needs to change to the CGA, the Cameron Grimes Arena.

William Regal shows up and Grimes tells Regal that he is busy.

Regal mentions that Grimes hit a crew member and he says there could be a lawsuit.  Grimes wants to know how much he has to pay.  Regal says that is not a problem.  Grimes says he will pay Regal.  

Regal tells Grimes he has a contract for Grimes to face Bronson Reed tonight.  Grimes tells Regal he could pay him off.  Grimes curses Ted DiBiase.

We are told that the NXT TItle match is confirmed for next week between Finn Balor and Adam Cole.   Finn has a warm up match tonight against Roderick Strong.

Match Number Two:  Aliyah (with Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea) versus Ember Moon (with Shotzi Blackheart)

They lock up and Aliyah with a wrist lcok and Ember with a reversal.  Aliyah floats over and Ember blocks an arm drag.  Ember with an arm drag or two.  Ember goes after Aliyah in the ropes and the referee warns Ember.  Ember with a side head lock.  Aliyah with a shoulder tackle.  Aliyah with a forearm.  Ember tells Aliyah to hit her again.  Ember blocks the forearm and she sends Aliyah to the mat.  Aliyah with forearms and Ember wtih a take down.  Stone and Jessi try to get involved but Shotzi shows up and Stone backs off.  Aliyah is caught on a cross body attempt.

Ember with a sliding kick on the apron.  Ember gets a near fall.  Aliyah sends Ember into the turnbuckles and hits a Yakuza Kick for a near fall.  Aliyah with a rear chin lock.  Ember with an arm drag and head scissors.  Ember wtih clotheslines and a back heel kick and drop kick.  Ember with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Aliyah puts Ember on the turnbuckles and Aliyah sets for a superplex but Ember blocks it and drops Aliyah on the mat.  Stone distracts the referee and Jessi stops Ember.  Shotzi takes care of Jessi and Stone while Ember hits Eclipse on Aliyah for the three count.

WInner:  Ember Moon

McKenzie Mitchell is with Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa.  Thatcher says everyone has a past and they keep throwing it in his face.  Ciampa says Thatcher's past with Imperium is 'the past'.  

We see Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez in the back getting ready for their title match. 

We see Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler getting ready as well.

We go to commercial.

We are back awith a look at footage from the NXT Women's Championship Match from Vengeance Day.  Toni Storm says she is the one who knows about Io Shirai.  I have wrestled her all over the world.  Io has beaten them all, but her.  Io says she is not scared of Toni Storm.  She respects her as a wrestler, but not as a person.  Toni stands in her way of being considered one of the best champions.  Toni says Io's title reign comes to an end next week and it becomes Toni's Time.  Io says next week is her toughest challenge but she will remain the NXT Women's Champion.

Match Number Three:  Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez versus Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

Shayna and Dakota start things off and Nia tags herself in.  They lock up and Nia sends Kai to the mat.  Nia tosses Kai across the ring and hits a splash into the corner.  Shayna tags in and she punches Dakota.  Shayna sends Kai into the corner.  Shayna pats Dakota on the forehead when Dakota covers up in the corner.  Shayna with a take down and she works on the wrist and tries to stomp on the elbow but Shayna misses.  Kai with a slap and they miss splashes into the corner.  Kai with an elbow and a rollup for a near fall.  Kai with an arm drag and flying mare.

Shayna with a leg sweep and she sends Kai to the floor.  All four women face off on the floor.  They return to the ring and Gonzalez tags in.  Raquel has some words for Shayna and she pushes Baszler.  Gonzalez blocks a single leg take down and applies a waist lock and takes Shayna to the mat.  Shayna with a wrist lock.into a hammer lock.  Raquel with a slam and Dakota tags in and hits an assisted double stomp for a near fall.  Shayna with a kick to the leg and she gets a near fall.  

Nia tags in and she sends Kai to the mat.  Shaynat tags back in and punches Kai followed by a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall.  Shayna with an arm bar.  Raquel tags in and she kicks Shayna in the corner.  Raquel with an arm bar and she tags Kai back in.  Raquel with an Irish whip and Kai with a running boot but Shayna rolls to the floor.  Shayna blocks a running kick and drops Kai on the apron.  Shayna sends Kai back into the ring.  Nia tags in and applies a stretch muffler and spins Kai around.  Nia with a head butt and sends Kai to the mat.
