TNA Champion Moose is the next guest. Moose said he feels great about being in the main event. He said the change puts him back in the football days. He had teammates he didn't like and some he hated but once you step out on the field, you have their back. He despises Rich Swann but everyone on his team has the same goal tonight, winning.
Striker said some in the chat are saying he's lying and is going to go into business for himself tonight. He said it's about winning tonight.
Moose was asked about the company celebrating its past. Moose said that its a testimony to what Ed Nordholm, Scott D'Amore and Don Callis have done. They just have to keep the momentum going.
Moose was asked about facing off with Doc Gallows. He said Doc is the best big man in the business, or so he claims. Moose says he's a God and God trumps Man.
The next guest was Eric Young. He said he's been working to change the business and has opened the eyes of Deaner and Joe Doering. He has created an idea and the idea won't die. It's bigger than them. Tommy Dreamer, Cousin Jake and Rhino are going to learn that tonight. Striker asked him what gives him the right to do this. Young said he's been carrying every company he's been in since he got in the business. He can see the confusion in others' eyes and that they don't truly see what is going on. He can see clearly and it's his duty to make others see clearly and to fix pro wrestling.
They went to fan questions. The first fan said he wasn't prepared for Young and wanted to ask others questions. That was funny. He then asked Young what made him come back to Impact when he left WWE. He said it was his original home and he's a big believer in faith. Faith led him to this decision. He looked forward to sharing a ring with those in the locker room. He realized it was his purpose to rid pro wrestling of the disease that had taken hold.
He was asked about what it means to come back. He said that it been great to be part of something that is special and that keeps growing despite a global pandemic. Winning the title again means a lot.
Young said he's given everything to pro wrestling and when he needed it to give back to him, it didn't. So, his purpose is to destroy the disease that has taken hold of pro wrestling. If pro wrestling wasn't diseased, he'd still be World Champion. Pro wrestling is a fraction of what it could be and what it can be and his role is to eradicate the disease.
Young was asked if there were any prospects he's been keeping an eye out in AEW. He said it's an exciting time to be a wrestler and for fans. He mentioned several talents including Darby Allin, The Young Bucks and Chris Jericho. He's experienced a lot in pro wrestling, good and bad and wants to experience everything it has to offer. Something like this crossover doesn't happen every week or month. Tonight will change pro wrestling for the better.
Young said that he means it when he says this world doesn't belong to them, it belongs to us. He said his numbers will swell and soon us will be everyone. It will take time and effort but the three of them are just the beginning.
The next guests are Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz.
The promised they had the Knockouts Tag Team Title win in the bag tonight. They were their usual raucous personalities.
They put over that when they get crowned tonight, everyone around the world is going to know. They have beaten Neveah and Havok before and will do it again.
They were asked about dream opponents. Tasha said Jazz and Trish Stratus as well as Deonna Purrazzo.
They were asked about favorite matches and feuds. They nailed Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim as a feud that was great but is still somewhat underrated today.
Hogan and Steelz said they are ready and down to face anyone at any time. They want to see Taylor Wilde and Sarita return to face them.
The next guest is Chris Sabin. He said he doesn't know what to think tonight. Rich is his boy but he's never really had any dealings with Moose but he hopes they can co-exist tonight. He didn't address Alex Shelley not being there, which was the obvious question.
Sabin said that Impact has given him a great life since he was 21 and he's 39 now. He wants to give back to the fans and the company.
A fan asked if he might want to go to the X-Division title anytime soon. He said it's the Division where he started and it's near and dear to his heart, so it's always on his mind. It's possible. He said there's a chance he could go for the World title but tonight he has his mind on the main event.
Sabin said when he first heard Alex Shelley wouldn't be here, he thought it would just be the he and Swann in the match. He's happy to have Moose here but he hopes Moose and Swann can get along.
Sabin asked about Don Callis' recent actions. Sabin said he was one of the last guys left who can really carry the flag of Impact because he's been there so long. He said that they've been attacked numerous times and they have to stand up and not be bullied. It's a weird vibe with Don Callis in AEW since he's in the locker room but isn't promoting his own talent but is pushing Kenny Omega. He said that people think that but won't voice it because he's the boss.
Sabin said that he has changed his strategy tonight because he can communicate without speaking to Alex so he's going to go do the best he can.
Sabin was asked his dream match with the AEW crossover. He wants Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Young Bucks. He'd like to have one more round with them. In a singles match, he wants Kenny Omega.
The next guests were The Good Brothers. They said they didn't expect Moose to be part of the match tonight but the Magic Killer, 1-2-3, will be the ending.
They were asked about being compared to Hall and Nash. They said they are very similar as they, like the Outsiders, don't give a sh** and are going to do what they want.
They were asked what the most rewarding part of the run in Impact has been. Karl Anderson said lighting the world on fire at Slammiversary after 4 years of being forgotten and overlooked meant a lot.
They said returning to Japan is a priority when the world opens up again. Gallows said that is signed, sealed and delivered.
They were asked about potential AEW teams to face. They said the Young Bucks come to mind but they don't know they are going to give people that as they liked to Too Sweet them. They mentioned FTR.
They said it's a big night and if you don't have butterflies, you shouldn't be in the business. Kenny Omega is about to show up and they are excited. They said it's the biggest high in the world.
They were asked what was next for their "media empire." They said they have to thank Impact Wrestling and AXS TV for those opportunities. Other companies don't allow their talents to have that broad of a range. They wave the flag and they've been good to Anderson and Gallows since they were available.
They were asked if it was more fun to beat up John Cena or Jon Moxley. Both were fun. Tonight they are going to beat up Rich Swann.
Rohit Raju stormed the set after they left. He did a great promo about not being invited to Cell-abration even though he was the best and top star of the X-Division in 2020. He was great.
After Raju left, Ace Austin showed up to the disgust of Gia Miller. He said he was going to keep a close eye on the X-Division title match tonight because he's next in line. He noted he has yet to get a one on one World title match even though he won a number one contender's tournament. He said he was going to enjoy the PPV tonight and told the audience they'll be seeing him again.
Gia Miller was signing off when Cousin Jake joined her. He said he'll be taking out Deaner tonight.
Miller signed off.
