WWE NXT NEW YEAR'S EVIL REPORT: TWO TITLE MATCHES, LAST WOMAN STANDING, THE DUSTY CLASSIC STARTS NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

Match Number Four:  Rhea Ripley versus Raquel Gonzalez in a Last Woman Standing Match

Ripley with a drop kick as the bell rings and she follows with a shoulder in the corner followed by punches.  Ripley with a Thesz Press and punches.  Gonzalez with punches to Ripley and Ripley gets on top and punches Gonzalez.  Gonzalez with a clothesline.  Raquel with a fallaway slam.  Raquel with another fallaway slam.  Raquel gets Rhea up for a third fallaway slam.  Rhea with a punch to Raquel while Raquel taunts Rhea.  Rhea with kicks and a drop kick.  Raquel misses a clothesline on the floor and Rhea sends Raquel into the apron many times.  Rhea goes under the ring and she pulls out a chair and kendo stick and she hits Raquel with the kendo stick.

Raquel blocks a kendo stick shot and Raquel sends Rhea back into the ring.  Rhea goes to the floor and she does off the steps for a drop kick but Raquel hits Rhea with the chair.  Rhea is sent into the edge of the ringside barrier and the plexiglass.  Raquel hits Rhea with the kendo stick but Rhea is able to knock the handcuffs out of Raquel's hands.  Rhea gets the handcuffs and locks Raquel into the fencing.  Rhea with chops to Raquel and Rhea gets the kendo stick but Raquel with a boot and Raquel pulls the cuffs out of the fencing.  Raquel hits Rhea in the back with the fencing.  Rhea sends Raquel into the ring post.

Raquel has the ring bell but Raquel blocks it and Rhea is sent into the ring bell.  The referee makes his first count of the night.  Raquel adjusts the announce table and Raquel with a back body drop onto the edge of the table.  Raquel puts parts of the table and the announcer's chairs onto Rhea as the referee starts his count.  Raquel send Rhea back into the ring.  The referee chcks on Rhea as she gets back to her feet.  Raquel with a suplex.  Raquel gets Rhea up for a spinning power slam and she walks across Rhea's midsection.  The referee starts his count.

Raquel sends Rhea into the turnbuckles but both women try for clotheslines and Rhea falls to her knees.  Raquel clotheslines Rhea over the top rope to the floor.  Rhea gets back to her feet to stop the referee's count.  Raquel picks up the ring steps but Rhea kicks Raquel and then DDTs Raquel on the ring steps.  The referee starts his count.  Raquel gets to her feet first and she hits Rhea with the ring steps as they go up to the stage.  Raquel with a running boot that knocks Ripley off the stage.

Raquel follows Rhea to the back as the referee makes his count.  Rhea is sent into a metal table and Raquel follows with more kicks.  Rhea with elbows  and Rhea runs Raquel through a glass door.  The referee starts his count.  Rhea gets to her feet first but so does Raquel.  Rhea with a kick and she sends Raquel into the door.  Raquel is sent into a locker.  Rhea pulls a table over and Raquel is put on the table.  Rhea with forearms and Raquel falls onto some snacks.  Rhea goes on top of the lockers and hits a senton through the table.

Rhea gets to her feet and Dakota Kai hits Rhea with a kendo stick while Raquel gets back to her feet.  Kai with a kick and then Dakota and Raquel have some words.  Rhea with a forearm to Kai and a kick to Gonzalez.  Rhea slams locker doors into Dakota.  Rhea puts Dakota into a locker and puts a storage case against it to keep her from escaping.

Rhea returns to the stage and Gonzalez with a chair to Rhea.  Rhea with a head butt and she puts Raquel in the reverse Cloverleaf.  Rhea puts the chair around Raquel's head.  Gonzalez kicks Rhea away and Rhea hits the stage and both women are down.  Both get back to their feet and Rhea with a back drop that sends Gonzalez into teh LED board.  They both get back to their feet and Rhea gets on the ring steps on the stage but Gonzalez with a leg sweep and Rhea hits the steps.  Rhea with a choke slam through the stage and both women go to through the stage to the floor.  The referee starts his count.Raquel gets to her feet while Rhea is still down.

Winner:  Raquel Gonzalez

We see The Garganos arriving at the building with a police escort.

They continue their slow speed approach to the building.

The Garganos have finally arrived at the CWC.  

Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, and Austin Theory make their way to the ring.

Gargano says that is how you make an entrance.  He talks about curses like the Curse of the Bambino, the Billy Goat's Curse, and the Curse of the fan trying to get a date.  Johnny says just like the Cleveland Browns making the playoffs for the first time since 2002, I have reversed the curse.  I am cursed with being the best, being handsome, and being a sweet dancer.

Candice says that Johnny might be the most powerful person.  Candice says she has a plaque for Johnny for ending the curse.

Austin says Johnny is like a real life superhero.  They are so giving but they get nothing in return.  Indi says that is not the WAY they roll.  They unveil some artwork with them as superheroes.

Johnny says he knows a WAY to make this WAY better.  Johnny says him and Austin are entering the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Shotzi Blackheart interrupts in her tank and she asks Candice if she forgot about him.  

Austin goes up the ramp and says that Shotzi is not going to embarrass Johnny and Candice like that.

Shotzi shoots Austin in the Theories.

Shotzi and Candice brawl in the ring.

KUSHIDA pulls Gargano off the apron and stands in the ring with Shotzi.

Dexter rings the bell and shows that we have an IMPROMPTU mixed tag match.

Match Number Five:  Shotzi Blackheart and KUSHIDA versus Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano (with Indi Hartwell and Austin Theory)

Candice punches Shotzi but Shotzi with an enzuigiri and back senton for a near fall.  Shotzi with forearms and they return to the ring.  Candice with a waist lock and Shotzi sends Candice into the turnbuckles.  Shotzi with a wrist lock and Candice drops Shotzi on the top rope.  Candice sends Shotzi into the ring post.  Candice slams the arm into the edge of the apron.  Candice with forearms and she gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.

We are back and Candice with an arm bar while Shotzi backs Candice into the corner.  Shotzi with forearms.  Candice with a leg sweep and she slams the arm into the mat.  Candice gets a near fall.  Shotzi tries to go through Candice's legs to make the tag but Candice stops her.  Candice with a reverse chin lock.  Shotzi sits out and hyper-extends the shoulder.  KUSHIDA tags in and he hits a chop off the turnbuckles followed by a reverse atomic drop.  KUSHIDA with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel and drop kick.  KUSHIDA floats over and tries for a cross arm breaker but Gargano escapes and applies the GargaNo Escape.  KUSHIDA with a cross arm ba=reaker and Gargano gets to the ropes to force a break.

Gargano with a waist lock and KUSHIDA with a bulldog.  Gargano with a chop and KUSHIDA with kicks.  KUSHIDA with a punch and Candice gets between Johnny and KUSHIDA>  Candice puts her hair up and Gargano tries to hit KUSHIDA from behind.  KUSHIDA punches Gargano and Shotzi with an Asai DDT.  KUSHIDA and Shotzi work on the shoudlers and both kick the arm.  KUSHIDA with a handspring kick to knock Gargano off the apron and Shotzi with a suicide dive onto Candice.  Gargano and Candice are sent into the ring and Theory pushes KUSHIDA off the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA brings Theory into the ring and Gargano is sent face first into Austin's Theories with a drop toe hold.  KUSHIDA with a rollup for the three count.

Winners:  KUSHIDA and Shotzi Blackheart

We are told that Takeover will take place on Valentine's Day.

Finn Balor walks in the back while Kyle O'Reilly gets ready and walks to the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and in addition to Undisputed Era versus Breezango, we will see Ever Rise versus Grizzled Young Veterans.

William Regal is in the back and he says next week we will have the start of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.  He announces that we will soon have the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

We see The McAttack (Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch) in the crowd to watch this match.

Match Number Six:  Kyle O'Reilly versus Finn Balor for the NXT Men's Championship

They lock up and Kyle goes for a waist lock but Finn with a wrist lock.  Kyle with a hammer lock and Balor with a side head lock.  Kyle with a shoulder tackle.  They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Kyle with a double wrist lock and take down into a head scissors.  Balor escapes and Kyle goes for a round kick but Balor blocks it.  Balor with a chin lock to counter a single leg take down attempt.  Balor with a side head lock and take down.  Kyle gets a near fall with a rollup and Kyle with a head scissors.  Balor escapes and Kyle with a kick to the shoulder.

Kyle with an arm bar.  Balor tries to reverse and Kyle blocks it and sends Balor to the mat.  Kyle works on the shoulder.  Kyle with the wrist lock and Balor goes for a double wrist lock into an abdominal stretch.  Kyle escapes and goes for a cross arm breaker.  Balor Balor tries to escape the arm bar and he does.  Balor returns to the abdominal stretch.  Kyle gets to the ropes and uses his mouth to get to the ropes and Balor kicks the ropes while Kyle is still biting the ropes.  The doctor checks on Kyle.  He says he is fine and Balor with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock into a side head lock.  Kyle with a kick to the ribs.

Kyle with an arm wringer that sends Balor into the mat.  Kyle with a sliding knee to the ribs.  Kyle with an arm wringer that sends the arm into the top rope.  Kyle with another arm wringer.  Balor with a chin lock with Kyle in the ropes.  Balor with a chin lock in the ropes.  Balor kicks Kyle and stomps on the injured jaw.  Kyle with a belly-to-back suplex and Balor with a crossface.  Kyle gets to the ropes and forces a break.  Balor gets a near fall.  Kyle with a kick and Balor with a side head lock.  Kyle with a knee to the midsection.  Kyle with knees but he misses a palm strike.  Kyle with a leg sweep.  Kyle works on the arm and sweeps the leg and sends Balor shoudler first into the mat.

Kyle gets a near fall.  Kyle misses a knee and hits the turnbuckles.  Balor with a chop.  Kyle with a knee to the midsection followed by a kick but Balor with a Pele Kick.  Kyle bounces off the ropes and applies a heel hook.  Balor kicks Kyle and sends Kyle to the floor.  Kyle gets back into the ring at nine.  Kyle works on the arm and Balor with forearms.  Balor pulls at the jaw but Kyle with a guillotine.  Balor with a forearm and Kyle with a triangle.  Kyle with a knee bar into a heel hook.  Balor with a forearm to the jaw and Kyle has to release the hold.  

Balor with more forearms to the jaw.  Balor with an elevated elbow drop followed by an elevated reverse DDT.  Balor with a crossface but Kyle is able to escape.  Kyle blocks a kick and Kyle kicks Balor but Balor with slingblade and a double leg take down and a double stomp.  Balor drop kicks Kyle into the turnbuckles.  Balor goes up top for the Coup de Grace.  Kyle kicks Balor in the leg and Balor lands on the turnbuckles.  Kyle with a superplex and Balor tries for a rollup for a near fall.  Kyle with a brainbuster for a near fall.  Kyle with a cross arm breaker and Balor is able to block it.  Kyle goes to the other arm and Balor gets to the ropes.

Kyle puts Balor in the corner and Balor with a kick to the ribs.  Kyle goes for the leg and Balor with an abdominal stretch and gets Kyle to the mat and he adds pressure to the jaw and Kyle taps out.

Winner:  Finn Balor (retains championship)

After the match, Undisputed Era checks on Kyle and Finn stands a few feet away.
