By Richard Trionfo on 2020-12-20 17:59:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s live coverage of the TLC pay per view from the ThunderDome in St. Petersburg, Florida. Make sure to check out all of the coverage on PWInsider.com including news, blogs, audios, and post game show.

Your host for the Kickoff Show is Charly Caruso.  She is joined by Booker T, Jeff Jarrett, and Peter Rosenberg.

The hosts run through the card for tonight's PPV.

Peter says AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre is the match he is excited for the most tonight.  Charly says she is looking forward to the Firefly Inferno Match.  Booker says he is looking forward to Carmella versus Sasha.

We have a video package for the Universal Title Match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns.

We take a look at what happened on Talking Smack between Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman.

Charly asks if Kevin is willing to do anything to win.

Jarrett says pain is temporary and regret can last a lifetime.  Someone walks out the champ and someone walks out regretting being in the match.

Peter says he respects KO but he has been getting beaten up over the last few weeks.  He does not know if Kevin has a chance.

Booker says when you come from nothing, you don't want to go back there.  You will do anything not just for yourself, but for your family.  Owens is in a different mind space than Roman.

Jarrett says that the situation between Paul and Roman and the focus on keeping the title, it will be interesting to see if Kevin will regret tonight.  Kevin is trying to build his legacy and he will put a notch in the positive or the negative.

We take a look at the Smackdown Women's Title Match between Carmella and Sasha Banks.

Charly talks about how Carmella thinks she is inside Sasha's head.

Booker says she is not in Sasha's head because Sasha is cool, calm, and collected.  Booker says Sasha is one of the best she has seen in the ring as far as the women goes.  Since Carmella has come back, she has done a lot of talking but she will need to prove it in the ring.

Jarrett says Carmella has two receipts coming for her.  Jarrett says Sasha has had the attitude and jabs.  We have us a showdown tonight.

Peter mentions that Carmella is a former Champion and she has won Money in the Bank.  To be in the conversation, she needs to prove it.

Charly mentions that Carmella feels that she is bigger than Sasha.

We move on to the Raw Tag TItle Match.

We go to the EVP of the Hurt Business, MVP in the back.

He is asked what it would mean to add the tag titles.  MVP says it is destiny fulfilled.  Shelton has a past as a champion and Cedric has the pedigree to be a champion.  Peter asks what advice would he give to Shelton and Cedric.  MVP says he is directing traffic out there because Shelton is a former tag champion.  The New Day act like clowns out there but they are ten time champions.  In the ring, they are exceptional.  Every new day must end in night.  The only NEW they will be talking about are the NEW Tag Team Champions.

Booker asks if he has had THE TALK with Cedric.  MVP says we have seen the re-emergence of Cedric and we have seen his viciousness.  He has that attack in him now.  We are seeing a new Cedric Alexander.

We move on to the WWE Championship match.

Charly mentions the other potential participants with Omos, Sheamus, and Miz getting involved.

Jarrett calls them the intangibles.  Who is more experienced at climbing the ladder?

Miz and John Morrison show up at the table.

Miz says if the opportunity presents itself, I will take that chance.  If it doesn't, I will not.  Morrison says there is a lot ot lose tonight.  Morrison brings up the Universal Title Match as well.

Miz says they both know how valuable the briefcase is.

Jarrett asks about Omos and his input into the match.  Miz says just being out there, it makes him a factor.  Miz says Drew has been unstoppable and people have asked why hasn't he cashed in but Drew has been very tough in the ring.  Miz says he was one of AJ's first opponents in WWE and he knows the talent that both of them have.

Miz says that he is confident and says he plans to cash in at the right time.  Could it be tonight?  Yes.  Could it be tomorrow?  Yes.  Could it be a few months down the road?  Yes.  When I cash in, I will become champion.

Charly mentions the Women's Tag Title Match and we have a video package.

Charly asks who do they think will be Asuka's partner.

Jarrett has no idea and then . . .

R Truth shows up and Jarrett suggests that Truth be his partner.  Truth says he had one of his WWJD (What Would JohnCena Do).  He says he will be Asuka's tag champ.  He says there are many reasons she should pick him.  He speaks Japanese.  He has had more title reigns than anyone in WWE history.  Booker was a 5 time . . . but Truth says he is 45 time.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves are at ringside for our Kickoff Show Match.
