WWE RAW REPORT: THE DRAFT CONTINUES, AN UNLIKELY NUMBER ONE CONTENDER, TAG TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

We are back for the next round of the draft.

Raw's first pick is Nikki Cross.  Smackdown's first pick is Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Raw's second pick is R Truth.  Smackdown's final pick for the round is Apollo Crews.  Raw's final pick in the round is Dabba Kato.

Match Number Five:  Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods versus Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Ziggler and Woods start things off and Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall.  Woods with a near fall.  Ziggler with a front face lock but Woods with a wrist lock.  Ziggler with a kick to the knee and a wrist lock.  Ziggler with a hammer lock but Woods with a reversal.  Kofi tags in and goes to the turnbuckles with a double sledge to the arm.  Kofi with a cover but Ziggler with a rear chin lock and Roode tags in.  Roode with a side head lock.  Roode with a shoulder tackle and back elbow for a near fall.  Roode with a shoulder but Kofi with a rollup for a near fall.  Roode with a full nelson slam and Ziggler tags in.  Roode with an alley oop to Ziggler for a Fameasser for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Roode tags in.  Ziggler with a splash into the corner and Roode with a kick and neck breaker for a near fall.  Roode with kicks to Kofi.  Roode with a suplex and he goes to the turnbuckles for a knee drop and he gets a near fall.  Roode with a reverse chin lock.  Kofi with punches and Roode with shoulders in the corner.  Kofi with a double stomp but he does not hit it fully but both men are down.  Ziggler and Woods tag in and Woods with a forearm to Roode and a head scissors to Ziggler.  Roode runs into a boot and Woods with an Honor Roll.  Woods sends Ziggler to the floor and gives Roode a drop toe hold and then hits a drop kick through the ropes on ZIggler.

Woods with a slingshot tornado DDT for a near fall.  Woods presses Ziggler over his head and goes for a gutbuster but Ziggler avoids it and hits a DDT for a near fall.  Roode tags in and Ziggler hits the ring post on a splash.  Woods with a rollup on Roode for a near fall.  Roode counters an Honor Roll into a spinebuster for a near fall.   Woods with an enzuigiri and both men are down.  ZIggler pulls Kofi off the apron when Woods is about to make a tag.  Kofi avoids the steps and hits a splash on Ziggler.  Kofi makes the tag.  Kofi with an enzuigiri and they hit Midnight Hour for the three count.

Winners;  Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (retain Championship)

Charly Caruso ambushes Elias in the back and Elias says his new single off the album Payback for Jeff Hardy.  Elias says everyone has forgiven Hardy but he will not forgive Hardy for hitting him with a car.  Charly says we don't know who hit him.  Elias will not forgive Jeff for sending him to the big stage in the sky.  A car can't stop him.  Elias says being the great musician he is, he has written his magnum opus.  His new album will be released in two weeks.  Next week, Elias says there will be a concert next week and it will be unforgettable.

We take a look back at what happened last week when Mustafa Ali revealed who he was working with.

Match Number Six:  Cedric Alexander (with Montel Vontavious Porter, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin) versus Ricochet in an If Ricochet Wins the feud with the Hurt Business is over but if Ricochet loses he will join The Hurt Business Match

Ricochet with forearms.  Alexander with an Irish whip but Ricochet with a forearm out of the corner.  Ricochet with a forearm to the back but Alexander with a Dominator and drop kick.  Alexander with punches to Ricochet.  Alexander with a chop in the corner and a kick.  Alexander with a suplex for a near fall.  Alexander with a reverse chin lock.  Alexander with a splash to Ricochet against the ropes and Alexadner with a forearm across the back of the neck as he rubs Ricochet's face into the mat.

Alexander with a front face lock.  Alexander with a forearm to the back.  Porter tells Alexander to slap Ricochet and he slaps him.  Alexander with punches in the corner.  Ricochet with a half and half suplex for a near fall. Ricochet goes up top and misses a 630 but rolls through.  Alexander with punches but Ricochet with kicks to Alexander.  Alexander with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Porter gets a chair and tries to give it to Alexander when the referee goes down and Ricochet intercepts it.  Porter and Lashley and Benjamin get on the apron.  Ricochet hits the mat with the chair and he tosses the chair to Alexander and gets the vapors and falls to the mat.

The referee sees Alexander with the chair and he calls for the bell.

Winner:  Ricochet (by disqualification)

It is time for the final round of picks on Raw.

Raw's first pick in the round is Titus O'Neil.  Smackdown's first pick this round is Carmella.  Raw's second pick in the round is Peyton Royce.  Smackdown's final pick on tonight's show is Aleister Black.  Raw's final pick tonight is Akira Tozawa.

Asuka makes her way to the announce table to join commentary for the main event.

Before the match starts, Nia Jax says the battle royal will be won by Shayna, or her.  Why not save some humiliation by jumping over the top rope so I don't have to throw you out

Match Number Seven:  Number One Contender’s Battle Royal for the Raw Women’s Championship (featuring Natalya, Billie Kay, Lacey Evans, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Lana, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zelina Vega, Tamina, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Bianca Belair, Nikki Cross, and Peyton Royce)

The bell rings and everyone goes after Nia.  Lana with round kicks and Tamina makes the save for Nia.  Nia and Tamina with head butts to Lana.  Tamina is eliminated when Nia fakes her out on a hug.  Billie tries to eliminate Nia but Nia does not move.  Billie is sent to the apron and Nia head butts Billie to the floor.  Dana is sent into the turnbuckles by Shayna but Mandy makes the save.  Mandy is sent to the apron and Nia saves Shayna by eliminating Mandy and Dana.  

Everyone goes after Nia and Shayna even helps to eliminate Nia.  Nia attacks the announce table for being eliminated.  Lana attacks Nia on the floor and it is time for the announce table to suffer with a Samoan drop.

Before we go to commercial, we see Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton fighting in the back.  Orton rakes the eyes and connects with forearms.

We go to commercial.

We are back and what is going on with Orton and Drew because we return to the battle royal.  Nikki with a back elbow to Lacey and Nikki is sent to the apron and Lacey with a Woman's Right to eliminate Nikki.  We see footage of Peyton Royce being eliminated during the commercial break.  Shayna stops an implant bomb on Morgan with a Kirifuda Clutch.  Shayna is eliminated by Belair.  Natalya puts Belair on the turnbuckles and Belair knocks Natalya off.  Ruby and Liv knock Bianca off the turnbuckles to the floor.

We are down to Natalya, Liv Morgan, Lacey Evans, and Ruby Riott.   Ruby and Liv go after Lacey and Natalya.  Ruby is sent to the apron and so is Liv.  LIv and Ruby are eliminated and we are down to Lacey Evans and Natalya.  Lacey sends Natalya into the turnbuckles and Lacey is sent to the apron.  Lacey with shoudlers and she flips into the ring and applies a waist lock.  Natalya goes for a slingshot atomic drop but Lacey blocks it.  Natalya with slaps.  

We see that Asuka has moved to the back so she can watch on a bigger monitor.

Lacey is sent to the apron and then Natalya follows.  Lacey is sent into the ring post but she does not go to the floor.  Natalya runs into a boot and she hangs on to the middle rope.  Lacey kicks the hands and Natalya gets back to the apron.  Natalya swings Lacey into the ring post and Lacey falls to the floor.  Lana kicks Natalya off the apron.

Winner:  Lana

Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have moved into the ringside area and they fight around the remnants of the battle royal participants.  Drew with forearms to Randy but Randy with a kick and punches.  Orton Irish whips Drew into the ringside barrier.  Orton punches Drew as they continue to go around the ring.  Officials make their way to the ring to try to separate them.

They are held back and for a change, they do not break free to attack the other.

We go to credits.
