We are at the WWE Performance Center and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Samoa Joe, and Byron Saxton.
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and we see what happened last week when Orton faced Big Show.
Randy says for 20 years he has been in the WWE and he has been called several names. The Apex Predator, the Viper, the Legend Killer. He was the youngest WWE Champion in history and he won the title 12 more times. He has been part of many iconic teams. Legacy, the Authority, and Evolution. Randy says when he thinks about the greats, he thinks about Steve Austin and the Rock, but they cannot hold a candle to his longevity and his accolades. He can do whatever he wants to whoever he wants to and that will not change..
Something's missing. Randy says he hasn't been able to put his finger on it. He woke up this morning and it hit him like a ton of bricks. Randy says he wants to become WWE Champion . . . again. Randy says that means he has to bring Drew McIntyre into the conversation. Randy says if they were going to compare resumes, it would be a short conversation. Ten years ago, Drew was the Chosen One, but his head was so far up his ass and he got himself fired. Drew fought and clawed to get back into the ring. He showed hunger, ambition, and hustle.
Drew has his respect because he beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania and he did it in quick fashion. Drew, I am talking to you now. You got a problem and that problem is that you have what I want. Randy says he has a tendency to take things in the biggest and grandest manners. Randy tells Drew he wants a title match at SummerSlam. When I RKO you and take your title, you will never see it coming.
Randy heads to the back and Nia Jax makes her way to the ring.
Nia says she heard what Randy had to say and she knows how he feels. NIa says she woke up today and wants the Raw Women's Title. She got screwed by a referee when she had a title match and then Charlotte jumped ahead of her. Where is Charlotte now? Nia says she knows that Sasha has a match tonight against Asuka . . .
Shayna Baszler makes her way to the ring.
Shayna tells Nia that no one gives a damn what she wants.
Nia with a forearm and she throws Shayna down. Shayna with kicks and punches to Nia.
Referees get into the ring to try to separate them and we go to a commercial.
We are back and the Street Profits are in the ring to talk about the number one contender match to see who their opponents are at SummerSlam.
Montez and Angelo talk about how they want to do ring announcing.
Match Number One: Erik and Ivar versus Ricochet and Cedric Alexander versus Andrade and Angel Garza (with Zelina Vega) in a Number One Contender Match
Andrade and Garza attack Erik and Ivar and then they go after Alexander and Ricochet. Garza removes his pants and he throws them at Dawkins. Garza and Andrade have some words for the champions as we go to commercial.
We are back and the match has started. Alexander goes through the legs of Ivar and Ivar goes over Alexander's back. ivar misses a seated splash and Alexander leaps over Ivar. Alexander with a drop kick while Ricochet tags in. We see Garza, Andrade, and Zelina watching from the floor. Ricochet and Alexander with a double rana on Ivar. Erik tags in and all four stand off in the ring while Andrade, Garza, and Zelina cheer them on. Alexander and Ricochet attack Garza while Erik and Ivar work over Andrade on the floor. Alexander and Ricochet with a double back elbow to Garza while Ivar slams Andrade on the floor and Erik slams Ivar onto Andrade.
Ricochet with a chop to Garza while Alexander hits a reverse atomic drop.. Ricochet with a chop and Alexander with a suplex. Alexander and Ricochet give Garza to Ivar and he gives him to Erik for a springboard clothesline to Garza. Andrade hits Erik from behind. Andrade holds Erik for Ricochet and Ricochet punches him in the midsection. Ricochet and Andrade punch and kick Erik in the corner. Andrade and Ricochet with an Irish whip to Erik. Andrade with a knee and then Ricochet follows with a knee of his own. Andrade pulls Ricochet off when Ricochet makes the cover. Andrade hits Ricochet from behind and kicks him.
Ivar with punches and back fists to Andrade. Ivar with a t-bone suplex and a side slam. Ivar with a splash. Andrade avoids a splash from Ivar but Ivar with a seated splash from the corner. Garza with a super kick to Ivar. Erik with a kick and running knees to send Garza into the corner.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Andrade and Garza kick Erik and Ivar. Garza with an arm bar on Ivar and then they send Ivar into the ringside barrier. Garza sends Alexander into the plexiglass. Andrade with the running double knee strike to Erik for a near fall. Erik with a forearm and Ricochet and Garza tag in and Ricochet with punches. Ricochet with a running chop and Irish whip. Ricochet with a shoulder nto the corner followed by a kick from the apron. Ricochet with a springboard clothesline and shooting star press for a near fall. Alexander tags in and Garza with a super kick to Ricochet and Alexander super kicks Garza. Ivar with a kick to Alexander. Andrade with a back elbow to Ivar. Erik with a hip lock and knee to Andrade. Garza with a knee to Erik.
Ivar goes up top and he hits a senton onto Erik, Alexander, and Ricochet but Garza is able to escape. Garza with the Wing Clipper for the three count.
Winners: Andrade and Angel Garza
After the match, Ford and Dawkins applaud Andrade and Garza.
Andrade and Garza confront Dawkins and Ford and they start to walk away but it was a trap and they attack the champions and throw the hood of the announce table on Dawkins and Ford before leaving.
Nia Jax is talking to John Cone in the back as we go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Nia Jax versus Shayna Baszler
The bell rings and they exchange punches. Nia sends Shayna to the apron and floor. Nia follows and sends Shayna into the plexiglass and the referee gets to ten.
Double Count Out
After the match, they continue to battle outside the ring and security gets involved. Shayna applies the Kirfuda Clutch to a security member. Nia pushes one of the agents into Shayna and Nia tosses him aside. Nia knocks Shayna off the apron.
We take a look back at the Mysterio/Rollins feud.
Seth Rollins is in the back and he is with Buddy Murphy. Seth asks Murphy if he is with him.
Buddy asks Seth if he thinks Dominik will show up tonight.
Seth says Dominik will show up because people like him cannot get out of their own way. Seth says the Greater Good will move forward and it will be different.
We go to commercial.
