We take a look back at last week's NXT when Baron Corbin blamed Roman Reigns for the problems with NXT.
We are in Philadelphia, Pennyslvania and your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring and he has a throne and men to carry him to the ring.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are already in the ring to greet Baron.
Baron says before he begins, you need to pay respect to your king. You should be like these brave and wise superstars whose ability are on the level to pledge their loyalty to his kingdom. Baron says he wants to talk about the responsibilities of being a king and a great leader. It means telling your loyal subjects the harsh truth, when it is necessary. Last week, he said your hero Roman Reigns is not like what he used to be. He is an all time great, but he is a shell of what he once was. Roman refuses to believe that, just like most of you. Baron says he proved it. It is no longer Roman's yard, it is Baron's kingdom.
Baron says by royal decree he is the captain of Team Smackdown at Survivor Series. Baron says he does not like his teammates and there are two weak links who will be removed.
Dolph says Roman has been a step behind while trying to undermine your leadership. He says Shorty G and Mustafa Ali are on the team because they are running with Roman and it should be them. Robert Roode says they will rectify that mistake. Ali and Shorty G were given participation trophies and hand outs while Roman was the locker room leader. That will no longer happen. Dolph says they will do what they were born to do. They will beat Mustafa Ali and Shorty G and they will take their spot on Team Smackdown.
Baron says he is going to invite Roman to the ring to watch this match since they are teammates at Survivor Series.
A person is a dog costume makes his way to the ring.
Baron tells the dog to take a knee and bow. He tells the dog to shake for Baron.
We go to commercial.
Match Number One: Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler versus Shorty G and Mustafa Ali in a Winner is on Team Smackdown at the Survivor Series Match
Roode and Shorty start things off and they lock up. Roode with a shoulder tackle. Roode with an arm wringer and Shorty with a reversal into a drop toe hold and arm bar. Roode with an Irish whip and Shorty floats over and hits a shoulder tackle. Shorty with a flying arm drag and another arm drag into an arm bar. Roode with a punch. Ziggler with a tag and Roode with a slam followed by an elbow drop from Ziggler. Shorty with an arm drag into an arm bar. Ali tags in and hits a double stomp to the arm from the turnubckles. Ziggler goes to the ropes and Ziggler kicks Ali.
Ziggler with a punch and Ali with a head scissors take down. Ali with a European uppercut and punch. Ziggler with an Irish whip and Ali slides into the corner and kicks Ziggler from the apron. Ali with a rolling X Factor for a near fall. Ziggler sends Ali into the ropes and Roode tags in. Roode with kicks and he sends Ali into the turnbuckles. Ziggler with a punch to Ali while Roode distracts the referee. Roode with a kick and chop in the corner. Roode with more punches. Corbin distracts Ali and Roode knocks Ali off the apron and into the announce table.
Roman Reigns' music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Roman makes his way to Corbin as we go to commercial.
We are back and Roman and Corbin stare each other down outside the ring. Ali sends Ziggler over the top rope to the floor. Ziggler with a Fameasser and he gets a near fall on Ali after knocking Shorty off the apron. Ziggler sets for a super kick and Ali with a super kick of his own. Roode and Shorty make the tags and Shorty with punches and a European uppercut. Shorty with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Ziggler followed by a neck breaker to Roode. Shorty goes up top for a moonsault and hits it for a near fall. Shorty goes for Chaos Theory but Ziggler makes the tag and Ziggler and Roode hit a Zig Zag and spinebuster combination but Ali breaks up the cover.
Ali with a kick to Roode and Ziggler super kicks Ali off the apron. Shorty with a kick and ankle lock. Roode with a forearm to the back before Ziggler taps out. Roode wants the scepter but Roman with a Drive By. Roode sends Roman into teh announce table. Ali with a suicide dive to Roode over the announce table. Roman with a spear to Corbin. Shorty with Chaos Theory and Ali with a 450 splash for the three count.
Winners: Shorty G and Mustafa Ali
We take a look at what happened last week with Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn and then The Fiend.
We go to the Firefly Funhouse. Bray says something is not quite right here. Bray spins around and he becomes a magician. Bray changes the Universal Title belt blue. Bray says their fun is just getting started. He is looking forward to MizTV with the special guest of Daniel Bryan. Bray says he thinks HE will be watching too.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at the end of the tag match.
We see Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode complaining to Baron Corbin about not being in the match. Corbin says he will fix it.
We take a look at what happened with Braun Strowman last week with the B Team.
Braun Strowman makes his way to the ring and The B Team and Drew Gulak are in there.
Drew tells Braun to take it easy. Drew says the B Team are here to learn. Drew has a POWER POINT PRESENTATION of what will happen if he replaces Braun on Team Smackdown. It says that he would save Team Smackdown. Drew says he was surprised that Braun lasted as long as he did against Tyson Fury but he still has a lot to learn.
Braun grabs the hand and Bo and Curtis attack Braun. Braun kicks Drew away. Braun with a snap mare and splash to Axel. Strowman with a boot to Dallas followed by a running power slam to Axel.
The New Day are in the Gorilla Position and they are asked about their match against The Revival. Big Egets the crowd behind them by mentioning the Eagles's Super Bowl victory over the Patriots. Kofi says Xavier might not physically be here, but he is in their hearts. They will successfully defend the tag titles.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Daniel Bryan is walking in the back. Sami Zayn stops him to make the offer to join him and Daniel remains silent. Sami says they need an answer tonight. After what The Fiend did to you last week, it is obvious that you need them. They all want him with them. Sami wants to know if Daniel is with them.
Daniel says he has been thinking about this. If you are a man of your word and here to help, why did you run away when the Fiend had him pinned down with his hands down his throat.
Sami says he thought Daniel was right with him. He went to get Nakamura.
Daniel says he does not need your help and he is not joining your group. Daniel says you need someone else and he has the perfect person . . . Braun Strowman.
Sami says that Braun has nothing to offer them and Sami turns around and sees Braun standing there. Sami says that is a good idea. They will mull it over and he tells Braun they will let him know.
