By Mike Johnson on 2019-07-20 19:46:00

ROH Champion Matt Taven vs. Kenny King vs. Jay Lethal.

Lethal demanded timekeeper Amy Rose leave ringside and she did.  The storyline has implied Rose may be in cahoots with King.

All three faced off in the center of the ring.

King and Lethal started.  They go back and forth a bit until Taven grabs Lethal and pulls him off the apron.  They brawl on the floor until King hits a spinning dive to the outside on both.  King brought Taven into the ring and nailed him with a spinning heel kick for a two count.  They battled until Lethal returned to the fray.  He and Taven exchanged punches.  Taven nailed a neckbreaker for a two count.  King broke it up.  Taven drilled King with punches in the corner until Lethal tied hom to the tree of woe, trapping King in the corner and nailed both.

Lethal nailed a hiptoss into a cartwheel dropkick for a two count.  He nailed the Lethal Combination on King for a two count  Taven slapped Lethal.  Lethal drilled him with a series of slaps and strikes, then nailed King.  He covered Taven for a two count,  Lethal tossed King to the floor.  All three brawled in the center of the ring.  Series of dives culminating with Lethal hitting a trifecta on Taven and King.  Lethal locked in a figure four but Taven nailed him and locked in one of his own.  Lethal tried to nail a flying elbow on Taven but Taven turned it over to save himself, trapping himself in the move with the momentum reversed.  Taven escaped but was locked in a Crossface by Lethal.

King nailed a chinchucker on Lethal.  Taven nailed King.  Taven nailed an enziguiri on Lethal but King came off the top with a double Blockbuster on each off the top.  He scrambled to cover each of them.  Lots of near falls from all involved.  Lethal nailed the handspring cutter on Taven for a CLOSE two count but Taven kicked out.  Lethal appeared to have the match won but was caught with a floating DDT by Taven and pinned.

Your winner and still ROH Champion, Matt Taven!

Lifeblood vs. Villain Enterprises

Tracy Williams and Marty Scurll started out.  Williams controlled him early.  Scurll got frustrated and began shoving him.  Williams shoved back.  All eight hit the ring going back and forth.  When it calmed down, Bandido tagged in and hit a hot series of offensive maneuvers.  Flip Gordon tagged in and faced off with Bandido.

Gordon quickly tagged out to Bandido and nailed a big lucha takedown that brought down the house.  Bandido came back with a step-up kick and a springboard into a rana.  Scurll tagged in but was immediately controlled by Bandido.  Haskins tagged in and nailed a series of kicks to Scurll’s back.  Haskins showed some good fire.  Villain Enterprises took control and King, then PCO hit big dives to the floor.  King came down on his knee and was limping a bit.

Scurll covered Williams for a two count.  PCO tagged in and worked over Williams for a long time.    Bandido tagged in but was caught and slammed by King.  PCO tried to come off the ropes but Bandido caught and slammed him.  Bandido nailed a big twisting dive off the top to the floor.  The crowd chanted for Bandido.   Gordon tried to bring in a chair but Williams stomped down on it, then used it while chasing Gordon to the back.

Bandido nailed a big knee on Scurll but was caught with a lariat, sending Bandido inside out.  Tracy returned to the ring but Gordon did not.  Haskins tagged in and tried to fight off PCO and King at the same time.  Everyone battled.  They were all over the place.  Way too much to cover.  KIng drilled Williams into the corner.  Williams fought him off and nailed a missile dropkick.  They all brawled on the floor.  PCO hit a big moonsault on the floor.  They all pulled out insane stuff until Lifeblood finally scored the win.

ROH Tag Team Champions The Guerrillas of Destiny vs. The Briscoes - New York Street Fight

All brawling.  Tama Tonga beat Jay Briscoe with a chair.  Tonga Loa set up a table on the floor.  He slammed Mark into it.  Jay nailed him and set up Mark to dive off a chair, wiping Loa through the table.  Mark hit the Froggy Bow elbow off the apron.  Jay grabbed a Loa, working him over as Mark Briscoe beating down Tonga with a Singapore Cane.

The Briscoes began tossing chairs and working over The GOD with weapons on the floor.  The set up a pile of chairs and teased a suplex over the top fo the floor on Tonga but Loa charged and nailed Mark.  Mark was backdropped off the top to the pile of chairs.  Far more crowd heat for this vs. everything else.

Loa nailed him with a chair across the back while Tonga worked over Jay with the Singapore Cane.  Loa suplexed Mark on the floor.   The GOD went for the Magic Killer on Mark but Jay hit the ring and beat them with chairs.  The Briscoes worked over Tonga but only scored a two count.

All sorts of insanity.  This is easily the best thing on the show in terms of craziness and excitement.  Mark hit a rana on Loa but Tonga hit a stungun.  Jay flung a chair in his face.  Mark dropkicked Tonga and went to the floor, looking for a ladder.  After a lot more carnage, they Briscoes appeared to be doing a Doomsday Device off the ladder but instead Mark hit a missile dropkick off the top of thje ladder, flipping Tonga upside down through a table and Mark crashed through with him.  THAT WAS F***ING INSANE.

Mark covered him and scored the pin.

Your winners and new ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes!

This was all intense, insane brawling.  I loved all of it.  There was an intensity to the plunder.  Really strong finish to the show.
