Joe says it is good that Jeff got to see that video because he probably wasn't coherent when that happened. Joe says he does not celebrate weakness and he does not believe in second chances when people like him have not gotten their first. Joe says what bugs him the most is that despite all of the mistakes you have made, you are okay being put on a pedestal and it makes him sick.
There have been just as many times that you have had people on your feet as you have let them down. People like you never change and the demons never leave, ready to take over. The next time you are powerless, Joe is willing to offer his hand. It is a one step program that will be quick and won't be painless.
Jeff says that Joe cannot rain on his parade. He has almost ended his career twenty times in the twenty years. Let's make this a moment right now.
Jeff is ready for a fight, but Joe walks to the back.
