EPISODE EIGHT:
We start off with last week’s announcement of the NXT UK Women’s Championship tournament and we see footage of all of the women in the tournament with their comments.
We are in Birmingham, United Kingdom and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.
Match Number One: Dakota Kai versus Nina Samuels in a First Round NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament Match
They lock up and Samuels with a knee to the midsection and a forearm to the back. Samuels with a waist lock and she swings Kai around. Kai with a leg sweep and running kick and double stomp to the midsection for a near fall. Samuels with an Irish whip and Kai goes to the turnbuckles but Samuels kicks Kai’s leg and gets a near fall. Samuels stretches Kai in the ropes and then hits a drop kick to the back and gets a near fall.
Samuels continues to stretch Kai and work on the back. Samuels keeps Kai from twisting to escape the hold and Samuels with a forearm to the back. Samuels with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Samuels sets for a Gory Special but Kai with elbows to escape and she gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Kai with forearms and a scorpion kick. Kai drop kicks Samuels into the corner and Kai with a running face wash. Kai goes to second and hits the Yakuza kick. Kai with the Kairopractor for the three count.
Winner: Dakota Kai (advances to face winner of Rhea Ripley versus Xia Brookside)
Mark Andrews is asked about his problems with the Coffey Brothers and what is next for him. Mark says he got a bit distracted and he will get them back later. Mark says there are things he can do in the ring that no one has been able to do. Mark says he wants a title around his waist.
Flash Morgan Webster stops by and he says he wants gold. There are going to be NXT UK Tag Titles and he says they would look great around their waists.
Mark says he likes that idea.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ashton Smith is asked about what is next. He says that you cannot go home and cry about a loss. He is interrupted by Eddie Dennis. Eddie says it has been a tough start for Ashton, but not for him. He tells Ashton to catch up to him next week.
Match Number Two: Jake Constantinou versus Tyson T-Bone
They lock up and Tyson runs the forearm across the face in the corner before breaking. They lock up again and Tyson tosses Jake across the ring. They lock up again and Jake with a wrist lock but Tyson with a reversal. Jake with a waist lock but Tyson with an elbow followed by a kick and forearm. Tyson with another kick and Irish whip that sends Jake sternum first into the turnbuckles. Tyson with a splash to the back followed by a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Tyson with a running kick and an elbow drop for a near fall.
Tyson with a punch and clothesline for the three count.
Winner: Tyson T-Bone
After the match, Tyson wants to know if that is the best that NXT UK has to offer because that was a joke.
As Tyson makes his way to the back, Dave Mastiff makes his way to the ring for his match.
Dave and Tyson stare at each other and Dave tells Tyson to watch the best in NXT in the ring.
Match Number Three: Dave Mastiff versus Dan Moloney
Moloney with forearms and kicks to Mastiff as the bell rings but Mastiff refuses to be Irish whipped and Mastiff with a drop kick. Mastiff with a back senton. Mastiff blocks a punch and hits a head butt and follows with a German suplex. Mastiff with a cannonball for the three count.
Winner: Dave Mastiff
We see Zack Gibson and Trent Seven getting ready for their match later tonight.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sid Scala is asked what does he need to do to change his fortunes. Sid says he needs to go back to the drawing board, but he wants one more chance. He says he thinks the powers that be and the fanbase are losing faith in him. Sid says he needs to talk to Johnny Saint about that one opportunity.
Match Number Four: Jinny versus Millie McKenzie in a First Round NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament Match
They lock up and Jinny with a side head lock. Millie with a forearm but Jinny with a slap. Millie with forearms followed by a drop kick and snap mare and kick to the back. Millie with a flying corkscrew European uppercut. Jinny goes into the corner to stop Millie’s offense. Jinny with a flatliner into the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Jinny with kicks to Millie and she punches Millie. Jinny slams Millie’s head into the mat and she gets a near fall. Millie with forearms and Jinny with a take down into a rocking chair submission. Millie is able to get to the ropes to force Jinny to release the hold. Jinny with a curb stomp for a near fall. Millie with a spear and she gets a near fall. Millie with a German suplex followed by a second one for a near fall. Jinny blocks a third German suplex with a series of elbows. Jinny with a Japanese arm drag into the turnbuckles and then she hits an accordion rolling kick for the three count.
Winner: Jinny (Advances to face winner of Toni Storm versus Isla Dawn)
We take a look at last week’s match between Sid Scala and Jordan Devlin and Jordan’s challenge to Ligero.

Match Number Five: Zack Gibson versus Trent Seven
They lock up and Gibson takes Seven to the mat with a wrist lock. Seven with a reversal and arm bar. Gibson with a shoulder tackle and he goes for the injured leg. Gibson with an ankle lock into a knee bar and then he twists the leg. Gibson goes to the arm. Gibson traps the arm against the body and Trent with a cartwheel and chops. Trent gets Zack to flinch and he goes to the floor.
Tyler Bate comes out to make sure that Gibson does not leave the ring. Gibson backs into a chop from Seven. Seven with a chop and he sends Gibson back into the ring. Seven blocks a Codebreaker but Gibson gets to the ropes. Gibson with a chop. Gibson gets a near fall and then he goes for a double wrist lock. Gibson with an arm wringer followed by a drop kick. Gibson with a front face lock and forearm. Gibson with a key lock driver for a near fall. Gibson with a cobra clutch on Seven. Gibson with a straight arm suplex and he connects with a forearm to the head.
Gibson with another forearm to the ear. Gibson with another foerarm and Seven does not want Gibson to stop. Seven with chops while Gibson connects with European uppercuts. Seven gets Gibson to flinch and Seven with a DDT. Gibson with an enzuigiri but Seven with a forearm to send Gibson to the floor. Seven with a suicide dive.
They return to the ring and Seven with a running chop into the corner. Seven with a Dragon suplex and a power bomb for a near fall. Seven with a single leg Boston Crab and then he tries to add the other leg but he stays with the single leg crab. Gibson gets to the ropes to force Seven to break the hold. Seven with a single leg take down but Gibson goes for the Shankley Gates but Seven with chops. Gibson with a Saito suplex and he gets a near fall.
Gibson slaps Seven and misses a short arm clothesline. Gibson with Divorce Court. Seven and Gibson with slap and chops. Seven with a spinning back fist but Gibson with a double thrust to the throat followed by a clotheslne. Seven with a side Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Seven goes for the legs but Gibson kicks him away. Gibson with another kick and Trent tells him to come on.
Gibson with an enzuigiri and Codebreaker off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Gibson applies the Shankley Gates. Seven crawls across the ring and he gets to the ropes. Gibson kicks Bate and Bate gets on the apron. Seven with a spinning back fist followed by a Seven Star Lariat but Gibson kicks out at two. Trent tries to get Gibson up for a Burning Hammer, but James Drake sends Bate into the ring steps. Gibson with an inside cradle and some help from Drake for the three count.
Winner: Zack Gibson
Wolfgang and the Coffey Brothers attack Seven and Bate from behind. Joe Coffey puts Seven in a single leg Boston Crab while Mark Coffey and Wolfgang make Bate watch. Mark with a forearm to the back of the head followed by a discus clothesline from Joe.
